I think now would be a great time to invest in a new battery, but am not sure which one out of this lot would be the most efficient

If any of you guys have ever purchased one of these, would you kindly share your experience with them? I'm an energy hog, so maybe I'm over analyzing a bit and for that I apologize :S

Check the accessories section. Basically if you want stock battery cover then go with Anker or galaxy nexus battery. Check out other threads for the larger ones.

Just make sure you know what you are buying. I've gotten some Chinese junk before on ebay that caught electronics on fire. Not a pretty sight.

And if you're lucky, it'll actually be as good as the stock battery. Look around the net for tests. Most 3rd party batteries are sh*t.
Honestly, I wouldn't trust a third party battery that claims to be much better. You're far better off (and less likely to do damage) just finding some battery saving techniques.
I believe that at some point you should be able to get OFFICIAL extended battery cases for the SGS II, however. This would be a safer and more sensible alternative. See here.

Thanks, I was aware that those batteries were sh*t, but just wanted to check if someone had any experience with them.
Anyway, I'll stick with original one.
Thanks once more...

Hi,
I bought one on ebay, and it was s..t
It claim to be a 1800 mA but in fact it was a 1350 mA (written under the sticker)
The seller told me it was a mistake from his supplier...
Hey guys,
Is any bluetooth keyboard compatible with my android device, in my case galaxy s2?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
i think its a plenty on the market such ebay or amazon. just carefully read if you interested with genuine samsung dock keyboard for each type is different, otherwise you might using aftermarket or apple A1314 product
There is a lot of generic ones that don't work becareful. I saw a lot of bad reviews on a lot of them on Amazon. If anyone knows of one that works, I like to know. I don't want to waste my money on a piece of crap.

I am very sorry if there is already topic like this one.
I found on ebay a battery that was 3500mAh or 3600mAh I don't recall exactly, but they say that it is the exact size like the original and won't change the size of the phone like the 5000mAh does.
My question is did someone has it,and how is it working? How many hours did your phone last?
Thank You in advance!

Absolute nonsense. Every battery that claims vast improvements in the same form factor is a scam.
If 3500mah could fit in the space provided, Samsung would have included a 3500mah battery.

I Don't agree, there could be a lot of reasons why they didn't put one, from budget point of view to supply issues. It's not like they strive to bring you the best at any cost.

Yes, please buy it and test it and see if it's recommended for us to get 1 too

Wow~ it's sound great, 3500mAh. Should be enough for a whole day use. Not sure I can buy it in Hong Kong...
yeah but users report its not 3500 but more like 3100.

I've always wondered whether the Note 2's battery fits in the GN. Because from the reviews the battery looks like the same size... anyone done the comparison?

If you meant the Gold battery, then it is 3500mAh. I bought two and noticed a huge difference compared to my stock battery. The stock used to power the phone until 7pm with moderate usage, wifi and bluetooth always on. Ever since I used the Gold battery, the battery still is at approximately 40% at 11pm. The battery still is 2 days old but still, the difference is noticeable
can you guys do a nova battery tester run on those batteries?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Mine came with 2800 mAh. Since it's cheaper than stock it has worth the purchase. Don't get your hopes high with these batteries.
Your srock may be dieing if it's almost a year old. Mine got down to 1700 mAh and this explains the "huge" difference you see in your new battery.

I bought the Gold battery two months after I got my Note so it means the OEM is still at it's peak. But yeah, I really don't have high hopes for replacement batteries. They may have a higher charge but they won't last as long as OEM. Like my dslr batteries, I get more juice out of the replacement batteries but my OEM battery outlasted them. But it is still worth it for me. What good is a camera (or phone in this case) if it does not have power when you really need it? Battery life does not matter to me (atleast in my case since I could buy 4 to 5 replacement batteries for 1 OEM dlsr battery - the Gold battery however, is another case).I keep that mantra all the time and I am happy with it
I'm going to buy a new battery for my S3. I have to decide between Polarcell with 2400mAh and the bigger original Samsung 3000mAh kit. Has someone experiences over a few of months with this batteries ? If they are new both seem to be very good, the Polarcell really has it's capacity and the Samsung one of course, too.
This is very interesting topic. Need to follow.

But I'm from germany and I dont want to import a battery, so I asked about the original 3000mAh and the Polarcell. And in fact in most of the battery threads there are only sbort term experiences.
I've been using the Samsung 3000 mah battery since July with no issues. The battery makes the phone a little thicker, but it's not too bad. It's really nice to have the peace of mind from the extra power in the battery.
I just got this extended battery from Hyperion for Christmas. It is absolutely amazing!!! 5hrs and I've only gone down 10%!

Extended batteries are nice, but they add a lot of bulk to your phone. I switched to my stock battery because having a phone that doesn't feel like a heavy brick is so much nicer.

If only it was possible to get that kind of battery life without turning the phone into a humpback whale.
Just to let you know,
the chinese makers of many batteries like to lie about the MaH ratings - it's easy to tell if you weigh them. Also I've seen them set it up so that power depletes slowly for the first 100-60% and then rapidily drop within seconds when the power is running out.
I recommend looking at reviews from phones in general and find a maker that isn't a scammer - one that takes pride in their name and quality. There are plenty now and they're about the same price if you buy direct from china. I thought a few times about selling them but then I relised that people are too dumb and just look at the price so I couldn't be bothered. There are some countries where it's not even possible to buy a decent replacement battery - Latin America and Spain for example.

Exactly. These make it hard to put the phone in your pocket.
IMHO I'd rather carry around a spare Samsung Extended battery with me and just swap it in. Saves a lot of money. I got mine on Amazon for like $10. Plus I can use any case with it.
