Sometimes my phone has gotten wonky on time usually as a result of battery swaps. happened even prior to my rooting.
All i needed to do was toggle off/on the Auto time set feature and it resets as it should.
All most over slept one morning because I for got to check the time after a battery swap prior to going to bed. Phone is my main alarm clock.
Just go to settings then under system go to date and time and then set the time yourself.

Samsung has introduced a qualcomm time service that might be responsible for weird time behavior. I know on my phone it can be off by up to two minutes, so what I did was disable this from running. If you're rooted, you can either disable it in titanium/application settings/adb OR just remove the application from /system/app/TimeService.apk

Was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me/a solution..
My T-Mobile S2 randomly reboots itself once a day at least when left idle. Not rooted. Bone stock rom, about 33 user apps installed that never gave me problems on my other phones (Nexus One, HD2)
I read something about SD cards causing the issue, so I formatted mine from the phone and threw it back in, still happening.
I can give a list of my apps if it would help, other than that I did notice one other thing.. I use the google news & weather widget that came with the phone, and I set it not to auto refresh. After it reboots, and I don't have background data on, the widget doesn't load (this is how I know it's actually rebooting if I wake up to it) so maybe it's related to that somehow?
Any input is appreciated.

I'm assuming from reading the original post, it says it has Kobridge's init.d scripts baked in, so the KERNAL included in the ROM must already have that ability for those to work...

I'm sure this probably isn't your first time using odex me, but just in case, I remember it seems to take forever to complete. Like hit ok on reboot and odex.. Go make a sandwich (preferable a deluxe), come back to the phone and (depending on how many apps you have installed) eat the sandwich and you might get done eating before it's done... Forever,

Yeah I've used it several other times and it does take forever, but usually during reboots (thought I bricked on my first use). This time it just hung on the app screen saying it was going to reboot and I hadn't loaded any apps yet.

Lol.. Good one.
I have had that happen to me one time as well. It turned out that the KERNAL I was trying to use it with didn't have init.d support. I'm not saying that is the case here, but generally (unless you're odex me app goes bad sitting on your SD card waiting for its next use) I don't believe the app is ROM specific. Build maybe(FE07/FE10 etc...)? I don't know.

flashed this earlier today from the stock unlocked plus kernel (coming from agat63's tfe10 rom), and upon rebooting i got an error stating lbe privacy guard couldn't start because it didn't have root access. then i tried loading up rom toolbox, and it too was borked.
so i went ahead and wiped data/cache and re-flashed the rom, but still i had no root. i wiped data again and flashed back to tfe10 and i was back in business.
bad download or rom not compatible with flashing from fe10 unlocked recovery?

I just tried to make a call from another phone to my GNex to verify and my phone is coming as Switched off. Whereas my Gnex is ON and I am able to make phone calls from it to others, but unable to receive any.
Does anyone reported similar issues?
I don't understand your problem. Your first post says you are unable to decline incoming calls. The second post says you can't receive any calls. Which one is it?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I was just doing some tests to decline incoming calls and found the second issue. Below are the problems I am facing -
1. I am unable to decline / disconnect any incoming call. If I swipe the white middle call icon to left the phone vibrates but do not disconnect the call.
2. If phone screen is off for more than 1 hours (appx.) then I think phone goes into deep sleep mode. If I try calling my gnex from other mobile then a switched off message comes. This problem is fixed once I make a dummy call / send any message to other phone.
My phone is not rooted. I would appreciate the feedbacks.
Nvm, misread

I was just searching the forums but could not any similar thread on these problems. Am I doing something wrong or is it a phone H/W issue?
I've never heard of it before. If you're on stock rom the only thing to try could be a hard reset and if that doesn't help manually reflash factory images. If all fails, I'd return the phone.

Google play will remember the purchases. They are tied to your Google account. After you login with your Google account you can download them again without charge. Even on a different phone.

Good luck, and I obviously got steps 1 and 2 mixed up: first backup /sdcard, because unlocking your bootloader will wipe it.
I am not sure if it is bug but here is what I observed in past 6 hours.
There is network issue with gnex (phone is coming switched off intermittently) when Mobile networks -> Data Enable flag is NOT checked.
But when data network link is enabled there is no issue with my phone and it works without issues or disconnects.
I have still not rooted / flashed the phone.

Looks like you got a wakelock, use better battery stats to see what's causing it. That almost solid blue bar in your 2nd screen shot shows way more awake time than what your screen on time is, awake almost 80% or so of your total uptime

Could Google now location services, such as time to work cards, be causing pipe battery life?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
All that maps stuff will kill your battery, especially if you're inside where gps can't lock fast. I use autostarts to force maps to stay off unless I open them. And yes cards in google now do hit battery pretty hard as well.

Yes indeed.
The Google location services is a big user as well, but to turn it off or prevent it's autostart would hinder Google now, at least I would think so.
Good point on the media server. The battery life was better before this update, and I'm sure Google was still hogging battery life. So media server seems to be the problem... Possible.
Could one possible freeze certain apps to eliminate the drain from the media server?

Mediaserver drains battery fiercely due to a bad image file or video file......it keeps trying to read the file. The only fix that I found was to backup your sd card reformat it then add a folder at a time to make sure it doesnt get stuck scanning.

I've found that it is only the network based locating that causes this particular wakelock madness. Turn off network based location and maps behaves fine... Shame really as Google Now is coded to be broken unless Google knows what network your connected to.

That's why I use autostarts to disable everything unless I open it manually. Then you don't need to turn off the location services they just don't activate til YOU tell them too. They fully function just like normal only they only function when the app is in the foreground

I'm going to make an assumption and guess you're using sprint? If so it has nothing to do with 4.2.2 and everything to do with your carrier. I thought I always checked that when building from AOSP...guess I forgot . If you want, you can probably dirty flash this rom. It's based off of the google image, so everything should work correctly.
Are you sure it isn't Google Now?
It's actually under the stock messaging app. Open messaging app and hit the 3 dots (settings) and choose Cell broadcasts. Then hit the 3 dots again and uncheck the alerts from there.
