I created this wallpaper using only the Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 devices. Its a digitally painted mountain landscape. It should work perfectly on Nexus 4. There's a hand full of customization you can do to it. It supports background scrolling and if you want, it'll even auto pan the view. Its free. Check it out.

This is really awesome. Any chance of maybe a night version of this same artwork? I'd totally pay for it.

I'm not sure...the artist that I had create this art piece was kind of....well...difficult to work with. He actually didn't get the clouds the way I wanted so I had to create it myself. If you look at the app posting on the play store, you'll see that the clouds look different and there are other things that were different that I took out and redid myself. I'm not saying the artist wasnt good, cause he was, just difficult to work with. If I do decide to make a night theme, I'll have to get another artist that is willing to work with an existing artist's work...I'm not sure how the art community feels about it. Heck, I was even willing to pay extra for him to fix the clouds, but he didn't answer me back....I dont know...for now, the only thing I'm willing to do is to fix errors on it...other then that, I'm moving on to my next live wallpaper...a little shameful self promotion here but the rating help me out a lot.
Very nice, thank you for this...
Any ideas or tips to improve the current state of the wallpaper would be appreciated.

so yah...
cool forum... love my droid Galaxy S3 and my Galaxy tablet.
I was googling this photo attachment product i saw on gizmag.com called Mobi-Lens and i found a couple of posts on this site about it so i thought id share it.
Us Android users dont get much gadgets/photo-accessories... this seems legit, even if you own an different manufacturer then Samsung, im sure it will work.
I got a red combo $60, beats my friends $80 olliclip for his iPhone... PLUS he has to remove his case every time AND only use the back side camera... SUCKER haha.
Now i dont have to lug around my DSLR when i go hiking or biking for some nice scenic photos.
just search mobi-lens on kickstarter.com or google it.
Welcome! Ya this is one of the best if not the best forum for all things mobile specially Androids!
I checked the item you speak off before and its cool however ill wait till it goes onto production as it is still under kickstarter phase.
Nevertheless our S3s have some amazing camera options, just wish it had SlowMotion video i myself had a One S after my S2 before I had my S3 and that was the only reason I miss the one s lol

slow motion would be nuts... wow lol. Im still waiting for a decent projector/phone
Slow motion would be cool. But it makes me wonder what it would take to turn it into a high speed cam!

And to get beta you need to back it with $5. Its already past the needed amount, now backing it just means your buying beta access. Trying to spread the word, as I know many of us on xda love to be the first to try things!

This looks pretty cool. I'm glad they got the finding they needed. I will try it out when it is released on the play store.
interesting keyboard for sure
Will have to look more into this. Curious as to how well it is going to fare for the dreaded Community.

Looks really cool, but I'm very hesitant to donate $5 before being able to try it out.
Edit: What the hell, it seems like a great idea, I just gave $5.
Thanks for the link! I saw it on the weekend and forgot to circle back to it to contribute. :good:
So if i understand it correctly, they wwant us to donate and then the beta will be available? Its no beta available now?
Since they have what they need I'd like and open beta instead of a closed paid beta

It's still awaiting release. Expected delivery by June I think. If you donate you get it as soon as it's released, otherwise you'll have to wait for it in the play store.

June is the targets for backers according to their timeline, while everyone else waits till q1 2014.
Kinda wish they had a $$ level for people wanting the Alpha version *now* - keyboard looks very promising. Hope I don't get disappointed like in other keyboard cases (who shall remain nameless).

I actually took a screen shot of the key layout and pretended to type with it. it'd be very easy to adapt to. From the sounds of it this might be needed next big thing. I mean this is already so versatile it can type with a ring....

I'll just stick to Swiftkey for now. Looks promising though.:good:

I currently use SwiftKey, and I like it fine. It is better than any alternatives, and I've tried them all. But I agree with jlear3 that "this might be the needed next big thing." Since buying my Nexus 7 last summer, I have wondered how developers could create an on-screen keyboard that didn't take up half the screen. I'm obviously not the only one who wondered this, as the developer specifically mentions that in the promo. While I'm very hesitant to say that this is the solution, especially since the beta is still months away, this does seem like a solution.
When is this being released?

Great concept, useless for anyone who types in different languages using English letters. (auto dictionary will just pick the closest English word) And $5 without even trying it, I'll pass.

Pitched in $5 and hoping they'll release it sooner than June.

Got an email update from indiegogo.com
Here it is for anyone interested:
Hi everyone,
Wow. Just… wow. We can’t even tell you how grateful we are for all of your excitement and support for this project.
In just 48 hours (!!) you’ve almost quadrupled our initial goal. And we’re well on our way to our stretch goal of $60,000, which will enable us to create a wearable development kit to allow others to bring Minuum to even more devices.
And thank you for helping to spread the word to your friends, family and networks! Sharing this campaign is the best way you can help bring the future of typing closer, today.
For the duration of this campaign, we’ll be posting more in-depth blogs and videos about Minuum. Stay tuned!
And, again, THANK YOU. So much.
- Will

Not for me. Not quite sure how I missed this yesterday.
My personal opinion I will not even get it. Even for free lol

Have you ever tried it long enough to become familiar with it? I'm definitely not asking you that to attack you over your opinion or anything (because you're definitely entitled to your own opinion), I was just wondering because I effin love Next Launcher. I don't just like it because it looks really cool though (it's just an awesome bonus lol) because I could care less about showing off my phone, I actually like it because of all the added functionality it provides on top of giving you the ability to fine tune everything the way you like, and call me crazy but I honestly think it's even worth it for the original price.

Hi. My grandson got a N7 for his birthday. He is trying to find the wallpaper from the UK N7 2013 advert. It's the Google eye's one. Can anyone help?

Yes that's the one, any idea what it's called ?
Its kicking my butt. I normally dont have this much trouble finding stuff like that but anyway here is another screen cap from the Nexus 7 2013 "Fear Less" or glossophobia commercial.

Was also looking around for it as I thought the "eyes" would be some sort of live wallpaper/widget active kinda thingy but it's just a static wallpaper
Disappointed
That would make an awesome live wallpaper. Have the googley eyes roll to the bottom of the screen when tilted. Or have them look where you last touched.

The commercial was made by a company called Autofuss out of the bay area. Its probably their own image they put on there.
found it!

So you DID find the wallpaper though ?? Even if it was just static.
Would be really helpful if you could share where or how you got it.
Even some information about who the character is or where its from would help, looks like some kind of Pixar character, binoculars or robot or something....
No never found it still looking. I think the one supplied by kiara... is a homemade one

No, didn't find it. Just noticed that on all the shots the eyes are in the exact same position so assumed it's not a live wallpaper and immediately lost all interest, that's all

I was looking for a widget that won't look hideous on the home screen next to the QHD Icon Pack I am using with Nova. Any suggestions?
Please share screenshots if you could. I was only looking for a simple minimal analog clock widget.
I apologize if I posted in the wrong section, XDA newbie here!
I don't know if there's any specific ones. I use the ones I did on my m8 and they look fine.
This is one more clock.
