Lol that was funny. On a serious note try juice defender with aggressive setting. It will certainly help you. You can download it by searching it on android market.

So I was just messing around with my phone and I found this cool way to change your brightness settings without having to go into settings. So besically all you have to do is slide across the top bar of the phone (where the time, battery, and data signal notifiers are). But do not pull down the notification bar just slide across the bar sliding to the right turns up the brightness sliding it left turns down the brightness. It works on GB and ICS. I dont know if this is a known feature or if samsung put it in there or if its just a glitch but i just wanted to share it.

Lmao.. this is where CM7 got the idea from. Aswell as having toggles in the notification bar, also borrowed from Twiz.
I am not flaming, but do non of toy even look at your operation manual?
First the screen shot key combo and now this. I guess cracking the manual open for five minutes does have its purpose.

I've been using android for over two years and I didn't know about the existence of this shortcut. Thanks for sharing!
To the flamers: Keep it up. Pretty soon you'll completely destroy any atmosphere of sharing and open exchange and render XDA irrelevant as a resource for new, experienced users and everyone in between.

I come and check here a lot. At least once every half hour. If I'm not checking xda, I'm checking the cm10 changelog to see what to expect
Hmm... I check it maybe once a day, and sometimes even a week goes by in between checks.
This proves to be a problem because it's impossible to read the 300 new posts on a ROM thread, and when you ask something, people either just tell you it's already been asked, or you get ignored... And when they do reply, by the next time I check I can't even find if someone replied..
Has anyone managed to find a good way to stay informed while not wasting my life on the forums?

Whenever google brings me here.
For me it depends on the whether or not I'm having any problems with the ROM I'm currently running. That can mean once a day, or 10 times a day.

Hello guys its been a while well I was curious if you guys would want this rom ported or not. Wanted to give back to the good old evo community. It is called bindroid and its available for the dhd,mt4g,sxl,inspire 4g and a few other devices
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o71s2BX1cU&feature=youtube_gdata_player
It is a fully themed sense 3.5 rom that is available for many devices. I just released miui for the sprint s3 and wanted to know if you guys wanted bindroid so I can start working on it after I'm done fixing some issues with miui rom on the s3

I would be down with testing that.
I still have my OG but screen is cracked and LCD is leaking. It pains me to turn it on and see it like it is. I'm gonna need some testers that can provide log cats and that know what they're doing and also don't mind wiping their phone at random notices . Post in the thread if your up for it only taking the first 5. Don't pm me I will pm testers when I believe I have a bootable build

Here's somebody offering to do some work that will benefit everyone and no response?

So there has been a lot of negativity of late that I am noticing regarding the Jelly Bean roms, stock JB, broken links for downloads, you name it.
I just wanted to create a thread, and maybe it's a bit redundant, that is dedicated to saying thanks to the Developers.
Appropriately then, i would like to thank:
AdriVelasquez for the Lifeless ROMs, his "how to" guides and many mods and tweaks
LokifishMarz for Imperium
Shadow1 for his unlock AIO, the radio update and the stock flashable JB ROM
Epic for the camera Mod
Jokersax for his kernel
Xboxfanj for development going back to my Epic 4g
Everyone doing work behind the scenes
ShellNutt for sticking with me in IRC while learning to use LGNPST
Nericus, while not development per se, he wrote the "how to disconnect the battery" thread, which is ridiculously helpful.
I know there are people I'm missing, so i will update this later, but these are the people responsible for the development i have used to date and I'm grateful for their time and work. The OG has without a doubt flown under the radar, but it's a great phone, and the development i have seen has been excellent thus far.
Again, thank you.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
xboxfanj - Well...I would like to thank him for everything really. Without him we wouldn't have much.
Shelnutt and all of Team Codefire - For unlocking the device and everything else you guys do.
Sharkboy - For all the work and testing you have done for almost everything on here.
Dees_Troy - The official support from TWRP has been phenomenal and a blessing.
evodev - For all the work he has put in with his ROM and all the help.
autoprime and everyone on IRC - All the up to date information and help especially with the EFS issues
b-reezy - The stock ZV9 ROM was amazing when it first came out and helped with development that we have now
Th3Bill - Everything you have done for us
AdriVelazquez - Everything. Literally everything. I will gladly test anything you make (Even if I do end up in a bootloop and get yelled at by my GF cause my phone doesn't work. Haha.)
Thank you to everyone! This place wouldn't be anything without every single one of us!
I am sure I am forgetting some but this adds to the original list.
Great idea!
I want to thank my mom for the update. I want to thank Synergy, Interloper, Shelnutt2, Autoprime, and Xboxfanj for trying very hard and not giving up. I want to thank everyone on irc for running a customer service support line the last week. I want to thank all the guys that were written on the initial post for their unwavering dedication.
Damn, what a perfect way to use my 1500 post!
