I rooted the ATT E970 phone then I deleted Google play music and Google movie apps.
Now the phone shows "Security Error" and stop loading
I can only access "Download Mode" and hardware reset.
I cannot pull out KDZ link from http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=<yourimei> link by using IMEI

I have TOT file for E970 but cannot find DLL file for ATT E970
Any suggestion?
1) Download the latest KDZ from LG's server for your phone via the app below (kudos to the creator)

that app will download the appropriate kdz file
No KDZ file
When I run the "Original LG Firmware.exe" file and enter
Model LS970
Serial Number <my MEID(ESN)-DEC>
it dnloads a CAB file that contains 3 files, a DLL, WDB, and WDH file, but no KDZ files.
any ideas? I'm bricked

So you have a Sprint phone on the ATT network?
LGE970 = ATT

Nope Sprint phone on the Sprint network.
Found LGNPST and got it back up and running last night.

I using Win 7 and had to run the program "as administrator". After doing that the download started to work.

Does anyone have the KDZ for the ATT e970? I really need to unbrick my phone. Thanks for any and all help.

My LG E970 (AT&T) is bricked (infinite LG logo) and I can´t unbrick it :crying:
Why are you asking about at&t phonea in e975 area?you have own section. As much as we'd like to help you,we know nothing about your device. So,instead of polluting the forums,why don't you do a proper search?it's that hard to enter in a google searchbox "e970 xda"????

E975? This thread is in "Optimus G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting" section...
If you don't know this is only for international(e975 and variants) and canadian(e971,e973),as it's stated here

to unlock use FreeGee from Playstore
Model number is E973, use the rooting and unlocking for this model.
Look in the Canadian dev section for roms.

You need to SIM unlock it. Look in the Sprint G3 General thread, plently of things referring to this. Hope I helped

Thanks. Tried some of the sim unlock methods with varied success here in Tokyo. We only got one CDMA carrier here. Since the hardware is the same I thought I'll just flash the D855 rom and pay the $5 for the sim unlock without wrestling with it much. Would that work or would I end up with a brick?

I'd like to know if this is possible as well, I've not been able to find out much information on if the LS990 actually has the same hardware and thus would be able to use AWS-1 bands after an unlock/flash.
Magixxx : Check my other post on how to nlocl the LS990 for any cdma network. Not sure whether it would work for gsm but maybe worth the try?

Hello i have G820UM Sprint model, and the software version is G820U10k. Is this software version same with G820UM10k_00_OPEN_CA_OP_0926.kdz ? Because in lg-firmwares dot com the region of G820UM10k_00_OPEN_CA_OP_0926.kdz is CAN with Unknown discription. If it same, is it safe to update it with LG UP? Thank you

No sorry, there are a lot of variants with the name g820um, but sprint doesn't have any kdzs. It will just give you an error if you try, and if you force flash it some other way you'll brick
Getting more worse
Is it something wrong with my phone? When i connect it to lg bridge, the app doesn't read my phone and when i check IMEI it doesn't show up lg g8 instead the old phone lg 2009 (2 times) and lg G2 (1 time) on different websites
