Sometimes i need to use this phone in LTE only mode.
In hidden menu ( 3845#*975# ) i cant select LTE-Options because give me error "not supported"/
Have you any ideas how i can change LTEonly on this phone?
The EU 10b doesn't support LTE.

Why not support?
when in the phone LTE simcard (russian yota) in setting i can change mobile network to Auto LTE\WCDMA\GSM mode.
but now I'm in italy and i doesent have lte sim card, and at this point there is no LTE network. i cant test it
its original LG site lg.com/it/telefoni-cellulari/lg-Optimus-G E975 support (800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz) LTE bands.
It's just the firmware. Not the phone.

What makes you say this? Im running E975 with 10b on LTE here in Sweden.
AW: [Q] Use E975EU in LTE Only mode
germany too. LTE is working
Are you guys sure you are running the EU Open 10b? Or 10b specific to your country? There are many 10b versions out there but only 1 EU Open 10b.
Cause I flashed the EU 10b and so did a few others and there is no LTE option in settings or service menu.

Very sure, this is a Swedish one which doesn't have specific version. When I got it it was 10a, but I upgraded to 10b with the support tool, which says Europe open. I also soft bricked it and flashed Europe open kdz. If you check the pic I attached you see I have 4g and world open. When you flashed eu 10b did you try backup radio, apn and maybe efs?

Interesting. My issue was that LTE wasn't available in settings period even with the correct modem. And service menu wouldn't enable it either.
Did Shellnutt get you unlocked successfully?
If so can you make a custom rom backup in cwm?

You got a PM.
E975 from germany uses 10B open EU too.
there is no specific german version available.
LTE can be enabled at mobile options and connects when if available

Thanks. I flashed it but no LTE in settings or service menu. So maybe it has to be something else. I even edited all the appropriate build.prop entries.
I suspect it's their modem.
Weird why it's only that way with the EU rom. I've been on Australian for 3 weeks now and no issues with LTE. Same with HK.

Actually on the EU roms, it had to do with region in build.prop.
I don't quite remember which but basically you have to change it from EU or GB to AU or whatever the correct abbreviations for your country is. See if you can find my posts regarding it somewhere.
It's been a while since I ran an EU rom.
But once you correct the region and reboot, you will automatically get LTE as an option.
Which ROM are you on now?
Would Australian e975k ROM work on e975 open model?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I'm on the Vivo E977 Brazilian rom.
I have used the E975k rom as well it worked fine for me.
Just make sure to backup your original modem from stock rom so you can reflash on the new rom if it's meant for a different region so that your LTE bands are covered.

thank you for reply. so you used Australian version kdz?
mines from HK and i didn't back up modem before flashing but i can always go back and download stock kdz via imei.
been thinking of flashing e975kkdz as this will be closest best for my region , but Europe open 10d is working fine tho.
i removed my sim and started phone and lte option was back on so i believe its got to do with sim/network to enable it.
It's the build.prop. I didn't have LTE in the EU rom either till I changed the region to non EU.
I don't remember which line it is but anywhere you see EU, change it to AU or AUS or whatever region you are in. However if you use the wrong abbreviation, the phone will boot loop so make a nandroid backup first.
And yes I used KDZs for all the ones I flashed and then houstonn helped me sort out the camera and wifi issue after unlocking the bootloader.
And if you find lines in the build.prop that has a carrier name, change it to your carrier name as well.
do you guys get a 4G symbol or LTE symbol?
Depending on rom. If I run my stock Canadian rom it is an LTE symbol. If it is an EU or other rom, it is 4g.
On Canadian rom, 4G is just HSPA±

hi, someone knows where i can download the kdz file for restore mi lg vigor (d725),,, thanks...
I'm in the same boat there is not much support for this phone yet. If I find anything I will keep you updated and vice versa
I NEED it too... Anyone???
Here it is - *official* lg d725 kdz
For all of you out there, who have been searching in vain for a KDZ to restore the LG-D725 (G3 Vigor) I am pleased to be able to post a link to the KDZ file:
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW19UK8032BVA0CEF3A4PRY/D725PR10a_01.kdz
Please Note:
After looking everywhere, and for months - This is the ONLY KDZ for the D725 that I have found - I point out that it has been impossible to find this KDZ. firmware flash - my device was bricked for months due to an OS mod that got me stuck in bootloop.
Using this restore FIXED my phone 100%.
This is 4.4.2 - and while it is not specifically for the AT&T version, this restore file works without problem. It is for the D725PR (Puerto Rico version I believe.)
Flash this using LG Tools.
When you have finished the flashing, and the phone reboots, you'll likely not have any data services. Don't panic! You need to go to the APN settings, and add an APN for US LTE, and then activate that APN.
Could somebody post an updated link for this kdz please. Every link I have found for this had been dead. Thank you so much in advance, it is greatly appreciated

Hi guys,
In a pickle here and need to "convert" a LS990 to a D855 for carrier compatibility. Can this be done? Hopefully without any carrier customizations...
Thanks!

You need to SIM unlock it. Look in the Sprint G3 General thread, plently of things referring to this. Hope I helped
Sent from my LG-ls990 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks. Tried some of the sim unlock methods with varied success here in Tokyo. We only got one CDMA carrier here. Since the hardware is the same I thought I'll just flash the D855 rom and pay the $5 for the sim unlock without wrestling with it much. Would that work or would I end up with a brick?
succumbtothegreater: Are you in Tokyo? Did you manage to unlock the LS990 successfully? My attempt to flash it with a D855 rom was short lived
I'd like to know if this is possible as well, I've not been able to find out much information on if the LS990 actually has the same hardware and thus would be able to use AWS-1 bands after an unlock/flash.
Magixxx : Check my other post on how to nlocl the LS990 for any cdma network. Not sure whether it would work for gsm but maybe worth the try?
As the title states am I able to install the att model h810 kdz on my h815 sea variant. The reason I ask is att has wifi calling and other features that I would love to have.
I dont think u can. Flash tool or lgup will probly fail anyways trying to cross flash too
