This means that you will need to flash one of his 1% mods, or add the images yourself, before being able to easily change them with my mods. > Step 1 in instructions is where you will find these threads.
Instructions:
1. Check ATTACK's threads and download a 1% battery mod that will suit your device. If none are available, follow his instructions on how to do it yourself.
[[4.2.2] Clock Mods + 1% Battery]
[[PA-3+] - 1% Battery Mod]
[[4.2.1][JOP40G] - 1% Battery Mod]
[[4.2.2][JDQ39][QSCP] - 1% Battery Mod]
2. Flash his mod (or follow his instructions to do it yourself). Reboot.
3. Download whichever of my mods you want to apply. (Can be both [softkeys and battery mod] at once)
4. Download/Open zipthemer.
5. Menu -> Update edify use your rom.zip file, go back
6. Hit +Theme and navigate to the file(s) you want. (This is where you can add both softkeys and battery mod)
6.1 (optional). Hit +Output and rename what the file is going to be called.
7. Build it!
7.1 (optional). Create an undo file (it will ask you), if you don't like the softkeys or battery mod you chose, change back. Try something else!
8. Boot to recovery, flash the newly created update.zip

Awesome mods
Whoa that's a LOT of themes!
Thanks a ton GeekMcLeod for the zipthemes.
Can you post a few screenshots or point to the correct post for the images?
Also can you explain what EXACTLY is a 1% battery mod? From my understanding, it is a battery theme with least count of 1%
---------- Post added at 11:33 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:32 AM ----------
I tried the thincirclebatterymod. And it is stuck at 43. The battery discharged from 47-43, the mod showed 43 all along.
I charged from 43 to 50, it still shows 43!:crying:
Is this normal behavior?

Definitely not. I'll check it out when I get home later today.
I only tested the one I used, which I don't think I remembered to include here. Could some try the rest of the these and see if they work? It is possible I did something wrong. (battery mods, soft keys are fine)
Also, I'm not sure attack even had pictures but I could take screen shots of them all later today. Could someone help contribute by taking a screen shot of any they try.

I have taken the screen shots of all the battery mods. Few of the mods do not have separate designs for charging and discharging.
I have attached the zip file of all the screenshots.
Hope this helps.

I'll try to get to it. I may just wait until this weekend to try them on different roms. So I know I have enough time to test a lot..
I'll probably just focus on making sure I can get most of them to work on PA. Being zipthemer, if I can get them to work on PA, they should all work on all gnex roms.

You can add them both to one with zipthemer or separately. Both is quicker though.

Mod request. Softkeys+1% battery

Can someone please zip a mod together that will modify softkey color change together with a 1% battery mod? I'm running stock, deodexed. Obviously rooted. I flashed the stock ics blue softkey zip. Then found a 1% battery mod. One cancelled out the other. I'd like em both. Is this possible to toss together? I have no idea how to...so here I am. Asking.

Take the images of the softkeys, they re 8 or 10 files in res/xhdpi folder in SystemUI.apk and drop them in the SystemUI.apk in the flashable zip of the 1% battery mod. Then flash again the battery mod. Voila!

it won't have a problem, I've done this many times
the flashable zip won't be signed but he can turn signature verification off in cwm recovery.
I did what nikosrs4 suggested with replacing the png images and rebuilding the apk and then zip, both signed.
Stupidly realized that I am on 4.0.3 so I can't test this now anyway..
didn't notice the option in cwm to not check signatures before, that's handy
pm me if you want to test it, I don't want to post it here and hose someone's phone because I made a stupid mistake that I can't test.

Right now I'm using ICL53F Deodexed Rooted Busyboxed + Softkeys + APM/AB by bigxie with the softkeys_mod_ICL53F mod.
But I've flashed a couple of other roms and you can't have both the battery 1% mod and the menu dots on both sides. Either one or the other regardless of the roms. Menu dots on the both sides was ridiculously useful.
Thanks

[Q] Custom 4-button Nav Bar Mod for existing ROM?

Where can I find custom navigation bar mods? What I want is an ALWAYS on nav bar, as if hardware buttons were present at the bottom of my screen. I want 4 nav icon buttons in this order form left to right: Menu, Back, Home, Search
Is this possible? So tired of having to hunt/hope for the tiny 3-vertical dot menu option squeezed over where it is not convenient to get to. I do NOT need the silly open-app switcher button that is on the right now. I did some searching but couldn't find a mod that could be allied to my current custom JB rom, only other ROMs that I'd have to flash the whole thing to get.
Thanks!

After you posted this I sepnt 30 more minutes on Google and 2 hours in the Nexus Themes/Apps forums, but STILL have yet to find this. Everyone wants you to modify your SystemUI.apk or just overwrite an image file. For crying out loud..I just want a flashable zip to do in CWM Recovery that has the four options I mentioned above. I cannot believe nobody else has wanted this, it's the biggest (and only) downfall of the Nexus.

Oh that's all...lol. Come on. Most people do not use ADB or decompile on here. We use the GNex Toolkit by mrskip (which in turn handles ADB tasks auto-magically) or we do what little we can in a root explorer, but other than that it's beyond 90% of ppl on here (despite the name of the forum). Now, I know that there are flashable zips, I just cannot find one with the 4 buttons I like. Everything has the silly 'recent apps' button on the right that I never use. I need that to be a search button like every other phone.

Yes but I don't think aokp JB fully merge in apk those features yet, so I think you have to go back to the fully loaded milestone 6.

[THEME] [CWM ZIP] Universal Battery Mod's [Potential to Work on all Roms]

Universal Battery Mod's
Hi All
NOTE:
Twrp recovery is not supported, you can try flashing the mods with it, as some people found that it worked for them, but normaly it will give a error msg when flashing the second zip (the battery icon zip, not the base zip).
It should not break anything, but it might make the battery icons only show 7 different percentage levels instead of 100, but that is easily fixed by flashing the base zip again.
I have Created some Universal Battery Mod's for the Nexus 7.
They have the Potential To Work on all Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, and Galaxy S3 roms, but a "Base" CWM Zip must be made for each rom and flashed before you Can Flash the Battery mods themselves.
The Benefit of theses Universal Battery Mod's is as Follows:
When a update to a rom rolls out, instead of having to update each battery mod separately, now all i have to do is update the one "Base" Cwm Zip, and then all the battery mods will work.
so it saves me hours of remaking each battery mod for each time a rom update is released, which also means i will be able to update the mods to work on the new rom Quicker.
It is Easy to add support for Different rom.
And it is a much quicker method of making the battery mod's
If anyone would like support for a Different Rom added, or a different battery made, send me a pm with the Rom name, or battery icons they wanted, and i will see if i can add support for it.
i can also explain here how to add support for different roms if anyone is interested.
Instruction's For Applying Mod's
Download the Base CWM Zip For the Rom you are Using.
Download the Universal Battery Mod you want to Use.
Copy them both to your Device.
Reboot in to recovery.
Select "Install Zip"'.
Select "Install zip from Internal memory".
Find and Install the CWM Base Zip you Downloaded Previously.
When that has finished Installing, Do the Same for the Universal Battery Mod you Downloaded previously.
Reboot your Device.
And The Battery mod you downloaded should now be applied.
See The Bottom of This post for the CWM Base Zip's.
See the Second Post for the Universal Battery Mod Zip's.
Please let me know if you have any Errors/Problems with the mods, as i havent had time to Properly Test them Yet.
If you like my mods, Please Hit thanks.
Cheers

Also you could start playing with the wifi indicator as well. Maybe you have some interesting ideas on that one.

Can I use Mods from galaxy s3 I9300

My question is this I recently visited the i9300 forums a came across a thread with like status bar mods, transparent notification drop downs and etc. well Ive got two question my flashing one of these mods will it work or hurt? Second if I can't flash the zips could I take them out of the zip and just switch the images out with my system ui files? Please any help or knowledge is appreciated.

Are you saying that your using that mod from that excact forum?
Some of the mods will work as the framework is a lot the same if that is all that it's changing, but things could get really bad really fast if it goes wrong and leave you with a paperweight. Things like transparent drop down aren't to hard to do on your own, Google a guide for ninjamorph or similar.

Yes, I am. I should have specified that.. I can't say whether or not any of the other mods will work. You'll have to run a nandroid and try them.

[MOD] 1% Battery With Sense 5 Simplistic Style!

All,
One of the main reasons I rooted was for the battery % modification as I can't believe this phone doesn't have it by default! So, the one that comes with ARHD is good, but it bugs me how during charging it doesn't match properly, I.E. the green battery background jumps left and right a few pixels and if you're around 11% to 19% it even jumps colours between yellow and red battery backgrounds. This doesn't do my OCD any good at all, no sir!
So I set about matching the pixels between charging and % when it struck me.... (after an hour or two of starting, typical!)
Why bother having the background at all?!
So, here is my 1% battery mod in the sense 5 simplistic style! My OCD can be put to rest now!
Attached to this post is a zip file that I've tested on ARHD 9.0 and it should work on future ARHD's based on the 4.1.2 Jelly bean bases UNLESS something major changes by Mike1986. It should also work on TrickDroid but I've not used that ROM (yet!)
What you need to do from the zip is put all the .png files into the SystemUI.apk file found under Android_Revolution_HD-One_?.?\additions\enhancements\battery\system\app into \res\drawable-xxhdpi
AND
The stat_sys_battery_charge.xml file into \res\drawable
I recommend using 7-zip for this.
Simples! I could attach the SystemUI.apk file here but Mike1986 may change it and then people put the wrong SystemUI.apk into a ROM and it may cause issues!
Obviously during the Aroma installation you need to pick the option to have the battery % mod as well!
You could also pull the SystemUI.apk file out of the ROM zip, do the above 2 steps and use "adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app" to put the file back if you make /system writeable before hand.
Hopefully what I've said above makes sense! Enjoy!
EDIT: I've just added a new fully transparent zip with all the battery icons fully transparent. This will look better for backgrounds which are lighter, although it may make the % harder to read if you use a really light / white background with the transparent sense bar. I would recommend using this one though as it will look the best for dark / lighter backgrounds.
THIS IS PERFECT.
The green battery was ugly. People with OCD tendencies make things so much more simple (and beautiful).
Thanks!

Please read op. This is not a flashable zip. This zip contains files that you should to merge into the arhd Rom file before flashing it.

Thanks for yours and everyone else's kind comments on this mod! I did think the same thing, why there wasn't a % icon for the battery or why stick to the same old battery style when they've overhauled so many other parts! The only thing that bugs me now is the battery & signal strength icons are XXhdpi but the bluetooth, sound off, wifi and other icons are xhdpi! So they look bigger next to the xxhdpi icons!
Unfortunately though, these aren't flashable zips and I don't think I will make one, someone feel free to make one and I can link it to the first post, but the reason I didn't is because it won't work on the other variants of sense 5. So I would need to do 5+ flashable zip files! And I can't guarantee they will work as I only can try the flashable zip on the ROM I'm running myself.
Love this look, but can you just do everyone a huge favor and make a flashable zip?
Thanks

Will this work with Trickdroid or any other roms? I am on ARHD at the moment, but wanted to try out other roms too.
This is exactly what I've been looking for.
Any chance to get this for latest Android revolution build?

This was the one I have been trying to get right but ended up going with circle 1% mods. I am going to plug this in to my TrickDroid setup now! Thanks!
