Guys,
I need your help. My computer does not recognize my phone its going into account mode rather than USB mode and its not charging with the ac charger it gets connected and disconnected. If its charging it doesn't shows the symbol nor in the battery settings. Even it does not shows the charing animation when switched off but it charges.
Don't know why its happening.... :'(

Hello, I have the sprint galaxy nexus and the screen keeps turning itself on saying its charging when its not plugged in. I'll turn the screen off and a few seconds later it turns itself back on. I've tried switching ROMs and it is still doing it

Extremely well known issue where the USB connector is not functioning properly, and so it thinks its being plugged into a charger.
Explains that lol. Is there a fix to this?

You can try cleaning the USB port. If that doesn't work, I'd say your options are either try to fix it yourself by tweaking the pins OR claim warranty.

No beacuse the tablet cant give the power needed, the usb interfacr cant either.
It needs external power.
By defualt it will work with USB sticks up to 32GB. Larger ones may cause problems.
My usb is 16gb, does anyone know any make/model usb that will work with the tablet?

Try to plug the usb stick first in the otg, and then connect the otg to the Note.
It happens sometimes to me to that I get the message not enough power. But when I disconnect and do the above it works.

If you have a pen drive it should work bec that is not an high powered device the problem happens when you connect an external harddisk without external power

Hi Guys
I am unable to find only charging mode in my note 2. When I connect my note 2 with my laptop its showing as usb mass storage.

Are you trying to get it to charge from the computer faster? Unfortunately, it won't no matter if it's in USB Mass Storage or not.
At least that's my understanding. If someone knows otherwise, please share!
You can't fast charge on USB if you don't have a special USB port. Normal USB port have a small power that's why it's so slow. Special USB charging port have more power.
Look at this.

On most nights I power off the tablet, and then I connect it to a usb wall charger. Doing this powers on the tablet. Why? And can I maybe disable it somehow?
I want it to stay off but charging.
