Right now on my S3 I am using desktop visualizer with tiles for a windows 8 kind of look.
I was wondering if anyone has seen or knew of a way of making an icon that resembles the PIE system
tabs that come on Paranoid Android.
The inspiration came from the homescreen attached to this post.
I was hoping to make two sets of these, one in the top right corner of the screen and bottom left of the screen.
Does anyone know how to set this up or can do this for me?

I have LMT launcher on my phone and really like it but I wanted something directly integrated into one of my homescreens.
I was looking to add my own pictures as the background of different app shortcuts.
Kind of like the windows 8 tile style with desktop visualizer but with the PIE shape...if that makes any sense.

That looks sick... did you find out how to do it? I have Pie Controls but I can't put shortcuts to apps in it, that's awesome!
No I still haven't found a way to get this done. I have just stayed with my current setup which is a windows 8 type using desktop visualizer. Sad though, I think it might have really caught on, this idea of mine

In the screenshot of the OP... is that Pie Controls with app shortcuts built into it, or is it something completely different?

You can accomplish this UI with the current apps on the playstore... Desktop Visualizer, Widget Locker, Multi Live Wallpaper and a little Gimp/Photoshop to make the wallpaper and some time... boom you have a very basic UI I think sharp isn't going to go anywhere with this.

I don't get why they put icons inside of squares. Its like putting an icon inside an icon which leaves you with a 3 column app tray. Think about all the scrolling you'd have to do.
The lock screen is cool and I'm sure the app store will have something similar soon enough.

its similar, use multi-live-wallpaper and set crop to "Fit to screen" (this is my version of it) if anyone wants it. I personally do not like this UI but I thought i would take a step toward what some ppl want. Ill make the icons 2mrw if you guys want em. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ffkbkwgxqvm681a/FEELUI.rar Enjoy!

this is more than just a home screen transition.
nothing out there (that i have seen at least) gives you vertical scrolling on the home screen as well as horizontal scrolling.
also, the lock screen is more than just a widgetlocker theme. the clock wont be on the bottom, and it wont scroll, the lock screen wallpaper wont scroll, you cant slide the lock icon up, and get the options, you dont get the nicer looking missed call/mail/sms pop ups.
this goes MUCH further than just some skin.
I just read an article about this from The Verge and i'm intrigued. The developers created Next interface and seem to be onto something. They feel the desktop is an unnecessary step to get to the app tray. Fair point, why have a bunch of apps then hit a button to get to your other apps? In the quest to be pc-like, Android has a desktop and widgets. Great, but I do see the point being made here. Oh, and notifications were redesigned.

A full port would be amazing. It would become my daily for sure, it's so creative and the design and fonts and everything is so beautiful. I love clean looks.
Would love a port...but its not gonna be out for a while...considering Feel UX phones arent even out yet in Japan.

Very impressed with the slick lockscreen, but not so impressed with the basic UI otherwise. Although I couldn't understand what he was saying, adding lines in between rows of icons is not a feature.

Is there a way to edit the shortcuts on my lock screen to make them spread out more? They seem to be bunched up in the middle a little bit. Maybe its for one hand use?....but I think it makes me have to aim more closely when I am quickly trying to access my music player...or camera.

I'm on the official tmo jb, but it should be the same. It bunches up the icons on the lockscreen if you have less than 5. Go into the lockscreen settings and add another shortcut.

I can't remember, but on ICS couldn't you only have 4 lockscreen targets? I didn't realize I could now put 5 on there, so thanks for the heads up. :good:

Seen this on android central feed, I like it a lot but my only gripe is the fact that the stock LS collapses it. I would love if it can stay "open" all the time instead of having to swipe down to see missed calls or texts. And the damn settings button always shows as well.

Works very well, i like it.
May be more options will be included in the next upgrades.
i'm using it as well, you should try battery ext from play store.

Good question.

It uses Yahoo Weather, as stated, and apart from adding the extension it should just pick up your location. I didn't have to manually add it. Whether it is done by GPS or Mobile Network location, it just seemed to take for me.

This used to happen to me . Then i disabled the option to use home screen widgets in lock screen from my custom rom menu.
But now there is a new version from this app, that allows your homescreen widget to have full transparent background.
Yes i just updated recently, now how can i resize the overall icons and texts? They're so big... and i have to slide down to see the rest of the notifications.

I wish there was support for Whatsapp too.
Also,
I hate having to manually expand the widget when it's set to default.

There is one. Search for dashclock extensions on the play store.
I love the widget. Its fantastic. The only issue I've had is refresh time. I don't know if its there app or what, but I had a missed call yesterday morning. Even though I cleared the notification and even called them back it never went away from the widget. Hope he fixes it soon

Did you have a solution for this issue ? My LockScreen also take 2/3 from the Screen, so i cant see the full DashClock
Unless you have some sort of Lockscreen control built into the ROM, and enabled maximize lockscreen widgets or however it's worded, then there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to max size. Unless someone has found another method, which I am eagerly looking for.
I'm loving this, but the weather doesnt seem to show for me. Even tried defining a location in the default clock to see if it was connnected.
looks nice...

Is there any AOSP rom that has the left clock option. I like center, but want to see what the Left side looks like. I remember MIUI had it I think, but haven't seen it on any other roms... No TouchWiz input please
I haven't seen any, and I think I read it's tricky coding it in without the notification icons going right on top of it

If you hover over an actionbar item (like send, back, forward) then it turns blue and tells you what you're clicking on.
You can also install any hover icon you want. In the themes section theres a thread for icons and spen sounds. Think you have to be rooted tho
