I've also been using this protecting case for some while now,
the only adjustment i made was to replace the (in my opinion rubbish screen protector) with a Zagg HD one, it's awesome now, the belt-clip also comes in handy!

thanks

why would someone put this onhis phone? its massive, looks damn ugly, kills the dimensions of the phone and design.
only if u r a mine worker or something like that.
horrible.
good review :good:

That's the exact point. To protect your phone against a rough environment. Not all phone geeks work in an office. Some of us actually do some hard labor

been thinking what to choose this one or Ballsitic (looks like the 2nd is tougher even a bit)

I have this:

Is the best!

Well that's your opinion, it looks like it's an ok case, I still think the ballistic offers a better level of protection.

Bleh, chubby and ugly case. I can see it protect your phone from a nuclear strike though so that's at least a plus. Any field tests?

It's survived light rain, some mud and grime and paint. LOTS of drops and an accidental throw. It's dropped face down on pavement and been fine. Corners bounce it to safety.

Yeah it's necessary to certain person to use this case
That's why I choose to review it

Got a little bored of my Cappy so installed these CF Phantom Skinz - Post up your mod

Overall. Quality of this product is superb and installation was so easy.
Did it all in about 15 mins + finishing it off with a hair dryer on low heat and 6" away from phone while off to cure the phantom skinz.

They are kinda small. Gotta stretch it a bit when you put it on, and then use hair dryer to make it even better. There is a video instruction on the website. Just followed every step and turned out great.
This is pure sex in my eyes!!!!

The camera I took the pic with is kind of crappy as it isn't as detailed. Pictures don't do the justice. Looks way better in person.
It is also texturized. Not just an image print.
That looks very sweet! May have to look into getting something like this for my cappy! Nice work on the install
if you are in the carbon fiber mood, there is a site that specializes in the 3M film (now in 7 colors!)

I had this same skin for a while.
It actually adds some grip to the otherwise slippery Captivate.
Also gives a small amount of protection.
Initially it is a lint magnet until the adhesive at the edges wears out. But then it looks really good.
For me it only had two downsides:
1. Eventually, it started to lift at a couple of spots.
2. Can't be transferred to another device (like a case can) if you need to replace your phone for some reason.

Armband

Does anyone make an armband for the thunderbolt so I can wear the bolt when I exercise? I've looked around a bit, but not found anything that will fit my giant phone with extended battery and seidio case.
not just that, but i want a freakin' wrist band for the Thunderbolt.
just like how i wanted a wrist band for the ipad.
would that not be awesome !?!?!....
Yeah. I bought mine on Amazon. It wasn't that much and it works. Definitely not the greatest quality out there but it does the job.

I wish but I assume HTC has given up on the Thunderbolt products.
I'm thinking about getting one too. I don't even use my ipod anymore since I got my Thunderbolt. I would like to have it right there to listen to music while I'm running. I need to get back into shape!

Arkon's XL-Armband fits the Sensation. I have one with the Incipio NGP case and it fits with the case on.
We designed the armband to fit most pones with screen sizes from 3.7" - 4.3". I've tested it with the Sensation as seen above, Thunderbolt (with TPU case), Droid 3, Droid X 2 and a couple others and they fit.

*Sorry for the annoying servo noise, I had to use a DSLR to record the video since I was using my live Sensation as a model and the auto focus was on :\

The armband case that you seek is this one!
I bought the TuneBelt from Amazon for like $20 before the holidays. It keeps my phone safe, sweat free, and you can even buy a little extender belt if you plan on running with heavier clothes on like a sweatshirt. Great buy!

Nice!! I have been looking for one for the gym.

Like my lock screen? Lol...I have had it four days, and it feels great in hand and slides easily in my pocket (from Jeans to Gym shorts)!
I haven't dropped it yet but all four corners are completely double covered and I expect there would be ZERO damage if I do drop it...
They come in Black, White, Green, Pink, Purple or Red...
I think it is WELL worth the $20-$25 for it, and it looks BAD ASS!
Wow that does look pretty nice. Thanks for sharing, think I might order me one. Does that spine looking accessory snap on and off?

Don't mean to rez a old thread but just got this case today in red and black and its awesome. Only complaint is the lip goes up over the edges a little bit. Dang, $15 dollars? Oh well. Fixin to get the new Evo LTE anyway...
Any thoughts on the raised/textured back? I'm looking at this compared to the flat one such as: http://www.amazon.com/Titanium-Black-Fishbone-Protector-SAMSUNG/dp/B006IZBKCS/ref=pd_bxgy_cps_img_c
Wondering if the textured back would feel good in my hand...

For me, the back isn't really textured or rough, just raised above the rubber inlet. It feels really good in hand, but I think the pricing on the smooth backed one is alot nicer!
Let me know if you have anymore questions...

[q] i have just ordered an i317.

Now the phone is on its way, I would like to order a case for it.
I have learned from experience that merely looking at pictures can not tell you much.
Hearing from others who have already tried always helps.
I am looking for preferably 1. thin(since note is already big by iteself), and 2.with good grip(so it doesnt slip off of my hand easily).
Can note 2 owners help me out in buying a case?
Any hands on experiences and recommendations are welcome and appreciated. Thank you

I'm using my note 2 with an original ballistic case, since I bought it, I love it, it keeps my phone safe if I drop it.

Otterbox (Defender) and Ballistic have good drop protection cases, but both add bulk.
Otterbox Commuter - some protection - and Seidio Surface - minimal drop protection - are other good options.
This guy has done a bunch of reviews with pictures - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192333
Ultimately you have to decide what features you want - holster, screen protection, drop protection, size, appearance, cost, and make an informed choice.
I like the Diztronic matte black TPU cases for all my phones. They are thin, add a little grip to the phone, and have a minimalist look that I like. You can get it on amazon for 9.99.
Thanks guys.
Though I really like and prefer slim factor of diztronic case, I now feel that I should also consider about drop protection. I just read about several users ending up dead or bricked note 2s after dropping. Is this related to sudden death syndrome? I wonder if physical impact such as dropping it would cause the note 2 to go bad. Are there any issues that I should be concerned about?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
Yes....
Don't drop your phone ...
If you are prone to physical damage of your devices....then you should consider an otter box defender....
I've used 3 of them over the last two years...and would recommend them if any chance of a drop is expected....and even if it's not....g

Tridea Faux Leather Case

Got it today. Feels good, hugs the phone nicely and doesn't feel too bulky. Only thing is power button Is a little deep. Other than that it's good.

I had gotten the carbon fiber version of that, but returned it because it did not play well with the stock charging cable...Also the fingerprint cutout is too small to properly read my middle finger [emoji2]

the hole is too small though (but I make it work anyway )

its not leather, its plastic with leather feel lol
not bad in my opinion. we will see what happens with time. favorite case so far.
I have this one too. Use it as a daily driver for 10 days or so on my Sprint V20. I like the idea of emergency credit card and copy of my driving license are always being handy and hidden inside of this case. I see folks complaining about inconvenient cutout for fingerprint scanner or something. IMO, it couldn't be any more comfortable, I don't recall having a single reject from it, works flawlessly and superfast! The only con that Tridea's case is slightly bulky and being in combo with enormous phone is quite a task to manage single-handed operations! I might search for something skinnier (and may be with card compartment on a back) later on, as phone has basic drop-protection itself!
