Many of you having been asking me to post some flashable zips of the RAZR M launcher I modded for CSROM.
Well, I finally got off my lazy butt and did it (sorry for the delay!).
The launcher is from a different device (Motorola RAZR M) and different Android version (ICS), so there is a little lag.
But that is a small price to pay for the awesome circle widget!
There are currently two versions available: with and without the persistent search bar.
While I was able to remove the search bar, I have not yet been able to recover the real estate.
Six other apps are installed which are required to make the circle widget fully functional.

I know this may not be possible but I was just wondering is there a way you could possibly combine all the components of the clock widget into one zip file so one could just flash the clock instead of the whole launcher?

Sure it's possible. But the circle widget doesn't work with any other launcher.

Port to Note II
Is it possible to port this launcher to the Sprint Galaxy Note II?

Hey everyone.
Was wondering if anyone could theme the Power Control widget to be transparent?
I'd use third-parties application but they are all limited with the GPS toggle going into the settings, so I'd like to be able the google one as much as possible, but the damn thing is fuggly sitting on my desktop.
I second that motion. Looking for a transparent power control widget similar to the stock widget.
I'd love to be able to change the transparency of the power control widget.
Try switch pro it's highly customizable and you can make it transparent https://market.android.com/details?id=alei.switchpro&hl=en

but the icon are old...not ICS icon!
this would need to be done within the Settings.apk, as that's what the Power Control Widget is a part of. in fact, i believe it's the appwidget_bg_holo.9.png within that apk.

Did the op ask for ICS themed icons? I just don't think these look that bad http://i54.tinypic.com/dwvsqe.png
And this similar ics version within switch pro you can alter colour to blue etc

I'm using https://market.android.com/details?id=at.abraxas.powerwidget and it has transparency and like it a lot

Here you go. Morph and MOD both attached. JellyBean Only.
Mod uses Settings.apk 4.1.1 from ParanoidAndroid 1.9.1 (CM10 Maguro JB)
The Modded APK may not work on any other ROM.The attached Morph is a better option.
To install the MOD, overwrite your file in /system/app/
Good idea to backup your /system/app/Settings.apk first.
Code:
adb remount
adb push Settings.apk /system/app/
Morph (the zip file) attached as well, Use Metamorph to apply and then reboot. How?
Enjoy!
Edit: Updated Morph, folder names are case sensitive in the latest metamorph.
Morphed and working great on Mmuzzy's latest 4.2 / Tiny's... Thanks for the hook up!

When moving icons and folder on a screen you cant just put them anywhere you want its locked to a grid so is there a way to be able to put folders and icons anywhere you want on the screen?

If you want your folder/app stick to the point where u left your finger and not in the 4*4 grid - so you want it to stick at the exact position - well you can't. Don't know even why would you like to do that? You could mess with your shortcuts easily
Hope fully this will give everyone a better idea of what I am on about.
This first image shows the amount of space available on the screen

It would be nice to have total control but unfortunately we don't. I used to have launchers plus on my desire and it is probably the kind of thing you are looking for. Instead of a 4x4 grid you can change it to many others. For instance a 5x6 which would nearly double the amount of icons you could have on screen. You could also resize widgets which was handy. And if I remember correctly you could even have more quick launch icons at the bottom. Very nice app.

The 4.2 clock widget looks absolutely horrible, I wonder why didn't they make it into a selection between which widget you want.
Anyways, is it possible to get the pre-4.2 clock widget on 4.2? It completely ruined my home screen at the moment. Or is there an app on Play Store that includes it?
The old one did not have that horrible circle around it, the new one does. It looked really good on my wallpaper before, but now I cannot select the one without the ring anymore.
You can modify the apk to show the old png files or look in play store for some ics clock widgets

Thanks! There indeed is ICS Analog Clock Widget in Play Store

There's nothing wrong with the look of the analog clock to me, its the hideous digital clock on the lockscreen that really looks awful.
What on earth is with this half gargantuan, bold font; absolutely dreadful

Even worse, they allow you to resize the widget to 2x1 (which is the size it should be, 2x2 is mostly wasted space) but at that size, the date text on the bottom is cut off!
Oh you meant the ICS clock by pre-4.2 clock. I love the new clock too It's so simple and sleek!
Get it from Play Store.
First of all, sorry for my bad english .I'm not a developer but just a galaxy nexus owner that want a little more from his phone. :good:
So, i'm here to show you an idea that i think could be useful for us. Since i got my galaxy nexus GSM, i always wanted to profit about the large screen our phones has, and the bars are a little invasive. The statusbar and the navbar are very useful and i don't like to replace them with LMT launcher or somethin similar.
Last night i got an "illumination" (LOL) and so that's it:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
A scrollable navbar that includes the statusbar with notifications. When you click on the clock it should show the expanded notifications.
I repeat that its only an idea. If it will be interesting , we could contact some developers and maybe a day we can have it ! :good:
I think it's a great idea! :good:
Great! I would like to know if someone can do this. I can help you
I love this idea~!!
amazing idea
If i get some free time I will look into it a bit more
thank you for your replies!

check out JBSourcery rom, there have a new option call Hidden Navbar (there is a small little blue tab at the bottom just pull out Navbar when u need it), it work perfect together with LMT Pie on the right.

Just look in the .zip folder and remove the files you see from system/app.
Or you can restore the nandroid you should have made.
