Does anyone know how to remove the stretch/zoom to fill grey x off the status bar when using tablet mode in Aokp on note 2? The ocd in me wont let me ignore it because its a different color than everything else.

Just wanted to know if you have this issue or not with your One X.
When in the Settings Menu (Or any other app with a pure white Background) at the bottom of the screen there is a very faint blue along the bottom all the way across. The weird thing is, when on the Sense homescreen, the blue dissapears (Tried different wallpapers etc to test) the only way I could explain the blue is the overscroll blue effect from stock ICS, like that, but very faint. I'm starting to think I'm the only person with this. Can anyone else confirm?
Does anyone know how to get rid of that keyboard icon in the notification bar when typing? I know it's not really hurting anything, but it's kind of annoying. Or is this something a dev will have to remove from a custom ROM?

I couldn't find anywhere to remove it either.. Just a bit annoying unless you are a multiple keyboard freak that likes to try different ones back and forth
Well hopefully when the devs start really customizing roms, that will get pulled out, sort of like the 100% battery notification on some GB roms.

hi there, im here feeling frustated to have found my gnex with this yellow colored wavy tinted on my screen.
i got this 2nd hand with very cheap price. im very happy with the performance but this colored tinted really irritates me especially when im running app with white background(sms, whatsapp, etc) which will make it more obvious.
anyone with this problem and know how to fix it? my last option would be to change the digitizer of course.
currently on latest nexushd with color setting to reduce the yellowness.

from the picture, u can see that the less yellow tinted part is where the statusbar and the navigation bar reside.
my theory is that the black colored of the statusbar and navigation bar save the screen from the tints.

Hi all. I was wondering if there is any way within CleanROM to have a more CyanogenMod type status notification pull down. On my old tablets running CM I really liked that the pull down for notifications was only 1/3 the width of the screen or smaller. The touchwiz full width shade is bothersome in that the notifications are almost too stretched to fit. I know that CleanROM is built off of touchwiz, but am hoping there is some way to enable the smaller notification shade. I'm open to any suggestion. I looked to see if there were any exposed modules and the closest I got was something to change the dpi, but that seemed to have no effect.

Would Samsung only have stuck with the Google bar. You cannot even integrate your own switch bar. Lots of wasted space.
I know this may be not that important, but is there a way to change colors for that dialer? I hate the new color and was wondering if there was a way to change it.
Not that I have found, and Samsung is really annoying me with making my dialer, settings, and everything else white. My note 2 had everything black and it was awesome. My note 3 I had a choice with the settings until they did an update and it was stuck on white. I rooted the note 3 and had everything black and it was awesome. Now I have the note 4 and there is no root, all white = ugly and blinding at night unless you turn the brightness down to where you almost can't read it.
They're going to need to find a way to root the phones then somebody will have to either theme it or come up with a theming engine in a custom rom. I don't like it either. I'm still on KK and the system backgrounds are white on it too.

I totally agree! I love the black and white look (black background with white fonts). I wouldn't mind not having root if I could move stuff to SD card and change themes.
