I have flashed my note 2 with omega v11 custom rom with acid theme but now when I use the camera the screen is all green. Any idea what is causing this...
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
why didn't you flash v12 its good flash over again it might solve and theres no simplistic mod in v12 that might cause theme pro lems
omega rom v12 neak 1.6
Try reflashing Omega ROM but first do a Wipe Data/Factory, Wipe Data Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache and install Omega ROM.
That will solve your problem.
Thanks folks. Got stuck in some sort of boot loop which scared the #@$# out of me. Managed to get put of it just by reflashed cf-root. Then reflashed with ega v12 using odin mobile and camera works fine now..

The Green screen could have been due to using root by exynos exploit apk and enabling the exploit...

This could be the answer. O was rooted via exynos but when I ended up in bootloop I flashed using odin with cf-root and nows all good with no green camera screen. Thanks.....

-----------------------------------------------------------------
IF THINGS GO HORRIBLY WRONG ..
1. DON'T PANIC
2. RESTORE USING YOUR CWM OR TWRP FULL BACKUP !
-----------------------------------------------------------------
1. BACKUP - BACKUP - BACKUP
For God's Sake .. Do a CWM OR TWRP FULL BACKUP FIRST!
2. FLASH KERNEL IN RECOVERY
3. WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE
4. REBOOT LET ROM SETTLE 5-10 MINUTES THEN REBOOT
5. ENJOY!
How To Add init.d Support:
1. After Kernel Install and Reboot Run: init.d-Support-New.zip From Recovery
2. Reboot
3. Check to see it worked!
4. Look in the: /data/local/tmp/init.d_log_test.txt
Look Inside: init.d_log_test.txt - You Should See: INIT Working

Well they are Stock Kernels ..
So Should be the same!
However I am Getting Really Good Battery Life From The: T999UVALJ4-Kernel
So far kernel running smoothly. Still to early to tell about battery, but it's looking good so far. Do u have any plans to oc and add extra governors to these kernels? That would be the bizness if u do..just asking bro. Thanks!

Also...forgot to ask....
How do I know which J2 or J4 to flash?
Please advise...any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!!
Which kernel should be used on a stock Tmobile note as there are different versions I see

I'm just guessing here, but you'll probably need a kernel from the Note forum.....

Quick question..which of these would work best with the serenity port? My guess would be the jelly bean version, but I'm not quite sure which leak the port is based on..thanks in advance

Can Perseus kernel be flashed thru TRWP the same way as a custom ROM? Do I need to clear cache and Dalvik before I flash? Is the Perseus kernel carrier dependent? Is the latest version of Perseus compatible with CleanROM 3.0? I understand this is a question for a different thread or forum but I can't post on an development specific topics yet.

Yes. Don't have to but won't hurt, I always wipe dalvik and cache when I flash anything.. No. Yes.
Flashed with no issues. Thanks!

I apologize in advance if this has been answered elsewhere, but are kernels installed by each custom rom? For instance if I had installed the latest Perseus kernel with CleanRomX, and then decided to install back to the stock rom, would that overwrite the Perseus kernel?
I don't have the answer but just go to "About" in your phone settings and check to see what kernel version you are running after you flash

As long as that stock rom has the boot.img. If not, then the stock kernel can also be found in the Perseus op. Just check in your about phone to see what kernel you have

I just installed 32.1 using TWRP.
1. Copy Perseus-alpha32.1-n7100-CWM.zip to internal storage using abd.
2. Power down and booted into Recovery. Vol+,Home,Power.
3. Did a Backup of everything except the cache to external SD. (took ~7 mins)
4. Wiped cache and Davalik-cache. (<1 min.)
5. Installed the Perseus-alpha32.1-n7100-CWM.zip (<10 sec)
Im on stock DLK7 (4.1.2) . Everything is working great except pinch to zoom on image in gallery.. Its lagging heavily (pinch to zoom).
Any one have this problem?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
It doesn't lag here at all. But if your gallery was okay before the update on a different ROM then it should be the new update's problem.

can't flash CWM recovery
Hello all... I have rooted my international Note 2 and selected TWRP when rooting with galaxy note 2 toolkit 3.
I am currently in ARHD Rom 9.1 and if I try to flash CWM recovery by Odin then my phone restarts and after the samsung logo the logo distorts and the phone shuts down and never starts again. I had to flash again TWRP in download mode using odin to start my rom again.
Please someone help as i am used to with CWM recovery touch
I currently on jedi xp9 and just flashed the new saber 8 kernal. After the flash I started losing data. Before the flash everything was fine. Anyone have any idea whats going on? Pretty sure the kernal flash had nothing to do with it but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
