Does the Kindle Fire 2 HDMI out over MHL Cable ?
Related
Although Kindle Fire HD 8.9" has a separated mini-hdmi port, I am curious to know if it supports video output from its usb port. I have one usb2vga (usb2hdmi) adapter and if it is not absolutely necessary, I don't want to buy a minihdmi2vga adapter. I wonder if anybody tried.
Anyone find an MHL adapter to work with the Fire Phone?
As far as I know the Firephone does not support MHL, so you won't find a working adapter.
I have two Fire TV2 boxes. Both the ethernet plugins on them do not work.
I see on Ebay they have USB ethernet adapters that have a network card inside the adapter.
Will this work on my Fire TV2 ?
I ordered one to test but will take weeks to come.
Any info appreciated.
I thought my aftv 2nd gen was bricked, but the HDMI port is the real culprit. I have tried like 6 different TV and 5 different HDMI cables. How did I come to this conclusion? The fire TV is Ethernet connected and when I opened the fire TV remote app on my phone, fire TV showed up?.
Now the real problem. I can't find a replacement part for this device. Where can I get HDMI port for aftv 2nd gen? Are there other non amazon devices I can desolder it from?
Yo, have anyone tried some more powerful adapter for powering both Fire Stick 4k and external HDD? I know that it's possible to have powered USB hub that would power external HDD, but I would prefer to have just more powerful adapter with just one USB slot, then I would just split it with OTG cable (I'm using it with usb stick now). Considering that Fire Stick plug is 5W/1A, would 10W/2A do it for powering both HDD and stick? Or does it need to be 15W/3A adapter?

You have to use a variable power supply or boost/buck converter.
Fire TV stick 4K powers with a 5.25v/1A. You have recommended to use 2A and above
