Internal SD card help. - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey guys. Recently I tried out a 4.2 rom and it partitioned my SD card to 0 for the profiling feature. I switched back to a 4.1 based rom but now my SD card is stuck as 0. How can I get it back to 1 without losing the things I've accumulated so far on this partition?
Thanks in advance!

Go to android original development thread. Go to CyanogenMod 10.1 thread the OP has a download attached to do just this
Download and flash in twrp or cwm. All fixed
Sent from my GN2 using XDA app.

Awesome, thank you!
Edit: It didn't work for me! I don't know what went wrong. I flashed it, it said restart and when my phone booted back up I went to my file manager and its still labeled as 0.

Make sure you follow the instructions when you downgrade to 4.1.x-
"Downgrading to 4.1.x ROMs:
- After flashing your 4.1 ROM, flash the attached file to move your sdcard content out of the 0/ subfolder."

[Q] [HELP] Troubles after flashing custom ROM

Hello everyone,
I recently flashed a custom ROM via CWM recovery. The ROM is Rootbox (thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2083922). I followed all the instructions given on the thread like Wiping data/factory resetting through CWM but I still am experiencing problems.
Okay so, I flashed gapps also and ROM worked smoothly and no problem at all. When I connected my mobile to laptop then I saw 5gb free of 12gb only. Obviously, ROM can't take space up to 5gb and when I had previous ROM, it had 5gb free at that time and yes, I did wipe data/factory reset. I can't find any files that were in my previous ROM in this Rootbox ROM even when connected to my laptop but when I went to recovery and tried installing a zip from CWM then I saw my files there that I had in my previous ROM but I can't say that if they were only folders or if they had actual files in it because I can't see .mp3 files or pictures via CWM. Please help me, I don't wanna revert back to stock.
Thank you!

Chances are you've fallen into the /0 folder trap...
Google added this with the the aosp builds for user switching. Not wiping properly can make these folders replicate and take up loads of space.
Whenever I flash a new rom I always wipe my internal sd. Prevents multiple files getting out of hand and it's great to have a fresh start.

Unable to flash custom roms. WTF

Hello,
I was hoping somebody could help me.
I seem to be unable to flash some custom roms successfully. I've tried, Darth Stalkers S4 and Infamous S4. (THIS IS NOT A SHOT AT THESE DEVELOPERS).
What I've Tried:
I have reviewed their instructions over and over in addition to watching Jameson's clean wipe video.
I have attempted flashing with both CWM and TWRP. CWM Version 6.0.3.2 and (TWRP 2.5.0.1 as recommended by Team infamous. )
I've tried redownloading roms with both phone and and computer.
Full Wipe as instructed by video and install instructions
Basically what ends up happening is they appear to be flashed (no errors in recovery) successfully but essentially get stuck in a bootloop.
AOSP based roms seems to work fine.
Heres to hoping someone can help.
Thanks
Do you happened to have a 64gb micro sdcard in it? I've read a few instance where once the card was removed or reformatted to FAT32 it boot up fine.
You need to flash a TMO kernel after flashing the rom, and before it boots.
it will boot.

Did that work? Because if it did, I'll bite the bullet and reformat my sd card. Lol.

Either that or just wait. It can take what feels like an eternity to boot sometimes.
That worked wonderfully. It was the extfat file system messing it up. I took it out and it booted perfectly. I then formatted to fat32 and its working perfectly. DO IT!!
I consider this thread closed as the fix has been found. Maybe it should even be stickied for the rest of us noobs making the same mistake.

problem with twrp when I moved from cm10.2 to touchwiz-based ROM

I decided to try clean RoM which is touchwiz-based. But I'm having some problem with the internal sdcard when using twrp.
I've been using cm10.1/10.2 since day 1 so the internal sdcard is mapped to /storage/sdcard/0. But with android 4.1.x, the internal sdcard is pointing to /storage/sdcard. There is no problem when using the phone normally. But twrp 2.6.0.1 cannot see /storage/sdcard. It can only see /storage/sdcard/0.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
There's a restore zip to put you back to normal found here:
It's towards the bottom of the post

OP, did this ^^^^^ advice work?
I thought the difference was due to the multi user feature.

It is because of the multi user feature. But it noted to use that to get back to how it was set up in TW based Rom. I just used it when moving from 4.3 back to TW. It just puts everything back in its right place !!

Can't load ROM "can't open file"

Hey having issue with loading new Rom to my already Rooted Note2 that is running CleanRom, which I love.
I have recently upgraded my exSD card from 8gig to a 64gig. so im not sure if that the problem. I have never done anything special to it.I made sure to do a backup onto it when I first installed it. Anyways I put Rom on it and boot to custom loaded TWRP and tried to load like usual but said it could not open the file. I tried everythingand then i downloaded Rom manager and installed latest CWM tough and same thing says it cant open file type or something along those lines. Any help wold be appreciated. O yea I wanting to load ProBam to try out 4.3.3. I tried 4.2.3 but did not care for it do to lack of Samsung perks like in CleanRom.
What no help. some on something. just point and il go
Download the rom again on PC...then move it to your external storage on the device ...
Then use the latest version of TWRP to flash it...

[Q] help w/ omni rom 4.4 please

This is my first time posting so if this is in the wrong place or anything I am sorry. I cannot post a question on the Dev post because I haven't got enough posts or something. So my issue is, I have the omni ROM with KitKat for t889, the newest version the dev has posted, it says in his post that the problem with the SD card not working is fixed, however I am still not able to use mine. It is a 64 GB, I have tried a fresh clean install of everything, formatting the SD card, partitioning the SD card, everything I can think of! I cannot change it to the fat32 because that option does not even show up for me on my computer or my phone. If I try and click on the SD card error, which says blank or unsupported files, and try to format from there is just reboots the phone and does nothing else, so I tried formatting on my laptop, and through cwm. I had also tried using twrp to install, but it gave me the same issues. Any help or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!
Try a different kernel. Devil2 kernel is great. Or you can flash a 4.1.2 firmware. Format your card through settings and then try loading new rom.

Thank you for the suggestions!! I tried reverting back to a couple of earlier versions and formatting, that didn't help... However I cannot find any of the devil kernels that are compatible for my device and 4.4, do you know where I may could look? I googled it, but not certain I know exactly what to look for. Thank you again for your suggestions!!

I have, I did like it more than some of the other Roms I have tried, I have just been trying out the 4.4 KitKat to see if I like it, more than likely I will be reverting back to 4.3 or something just because of the current bugs with the few Roms available, but have been enjoying testing out the new stuff.
