Hey Devs, what is this Subsystem Crash??? - Sprint LG Optimus G

So I've complained everywhere on this forum about my issues with Bluetooth on this phone. And it's probably just my device, but yesterday I tried to connect to a wireless Bluetooth speaker while at work like I do all the time. But this time, all of the sudden my signal cut out, wifi disconnected, Bluetooth failed, then the device rebooted but to this screen: (see attached image)
I just rebooted my phone and everything is working fine, but I wanted to see if anybody has experienced this or if any Dev could shine some light on what this may be.
If it's any help, I'm stock rooted ZV9

I am not a Dev, but you had a kernel crash. It happens sometimes...

This is too. funny. Here's the link again.

i dont mean to bash or be mean man and i know it can be confusing but wrong thread. ALL questions belong under Q and A
besides the obvious (wrong thread) I have the exact same issue. LGNPST keeps stopping at 67% or 85% and not working. Then my device stopped working all together. taking it to the store tomorrow.
I just unplugged my phone, let it reboot than plugged it back in and lgnpst finished up after that. It kept freezing at 85% for me.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium
The 67,85% issue is a bug with the software, but it's not an issue. Your device would reboot then and everything would be peachy.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Does your phone do anything while not plugged in? Mine when i bricked didn't. You may need to take out the battery.

Yes with a torx 5 screwdriver and Phillips 00
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
Ok! Even though this is the wrong forum...again I apologize. I was able to recover lol.
Heres the story: my phone soft bricked. I had zv8 rooted using the AIO tool and unlocked bootloader using freegee app..support the devs! And was lazy lol.
A friend of mine decided it would be a fantastic idea to allow the OTA for ZV9 to install...needless to say the phone went nuts. Into "epileptic mode" as I like to call it.
The phone would not turn on..at all...unless you hooked it up to usb or AC. And even if you connected to such power options...the phone would only flash the the red notification light and the softkeys consistently over and over like a police car lol.
Even after running LGNPST. It would go back to "epileptic mode" after reboot at 67%. I found this to be annoying....since the firmware was flashing without issue.
I hopped on IRC and fiddy and shelnut2 instructed me to do a battery pull. Thank God for them lol.
I got a T5 screwdriver and a small philips, removed both screws from the bottom and then removed the back cover carefully. Once it opened I peeled back the blue clear tape covering the battery connections and removed the two screws under that (used philips). Disconnected the battery for 5 seconds then reconnected and pressed power on button and finally.....PROFIT!!!!!!
Phone booted with stock firmware from LGNPST.

Those of you who it worked for: did you clear caches or do anything special after flashing? I'm still getting the same "Bluetooth turning off..." message in the bt settings page, and I'm unable to turn it back on without a reboot.

On AoKP 4.2.2 I can connect to my MOGA controller with no hitch.. However it usually fails when I connect to the uvo system in my car.. But connects fine after a reboot..

I can connect and play just fine but the quality is crap... wonder if this will fix that?
If you installed this patch delete all your devices and then turn bt on and off and see if it works...if it does cause that finally worked for me then add your devices one by one to see which one is compatible or not

I don't know if this will help, but I couldn't get BT to turn on, so I did some looking around and found a post that said to delete Pandora. So I deleted Pandora and rebooted, BT's been working for 2 days now no problems

Many thanks! I flashed this to CM 10.1 RC5a - had been having BT issues with it crashing or not being able to start for months.
Before flashing, I cleared Dalvik/Cache, flashed, fix permissions - after reboot, started BT and deleted all devices.
36 hours on it, no problems with car BT audio, no crashes.
Does a2dp work for anyone on cm10.1?

I fixed my blue roof problem by just going up there and painting the entire sucker red. Boom! Problem solved and haven't had an issue since. Sorry @PJcastaldo just had to do it. Couldn't help myself. :silly:

Try restoring with Odin to stock unrooted or flash a ROM to see if that works it might be some corrupt files or your WiFi radio just decided to go bad

Is your question, can you leave this off? Or on?
You're taking about the setting in the Hidden Menu?
Someone else posted something about this, their name started with a"C" I believe.
Anyway, mine is turned off and has been since that other post. I don't really think it did much for my battery life.

So here's the thread it was originally brought up on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328478
I remember my issues with it. I'm outside a lot and the phone will autodim down to 67% making it unreadable in sunlight. When I used this setting, I worked great outside but the screen would do some weird things when I left it on all the time. But I think it was conflicting with the autobrightness. It probably does make your phone run hotter as the cpu and the display won't be using any temperature regulation. And the Display has always been an issue on stock.

Wifi Issues

I'm having issues with my Wifi and clueless on how it got to this point. Everytime I try to turn it on, it turns back off automatically. I'm at home trying to connect so it should have the password saved already. Any ideas on what to do?
I'm running Wicked Rom V7, I have been out with friends all day drinking. Haven't used my phone besides texting, Instagram, and Facebook. It was fine this morning til now.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Are you sure its not working? I mean after drinking all day, a lot of things might seem broken that aren't.
If you are sure its busted, check these things...
Make sure the password on the router hasn't changed. If you live with other people you never know. Or the router could have just reset to defaults for some odd reason.
Delete the saved WiFi connection on your phone and start over. The password in your phone might have been corrupted too, causing it to send the wrong password to the router. Don't try to fix it. Just delete the entry and start over. That way if its another problem you'll fix that issue too.

Try this,
Download and cwm/twrp flash the Ktoonz kernel, that usually
fixes most wifi issues which people are having.
Here are the direct download links for the Touchwiz JELLYBEAN 4.3 VERSION:
http://ktoonsez.jonathanjsimon.com/s...11.14.2013.zip
OR if you are using 4.2.2 rom then get the Touchwiz JELLYBEAN 4.2.2 VERSION:
http://ktoonsez.jonathanjsimon.com/s...11.14.2013.zip
Good luck!

I flashed the 4.2.2 and still have the same problem, I just hope it isn't any hardware issues. I guess I'll be backing everything up and reflashing the rom.

Found out every time I install this app I have the issues. So if any of you who had the same issue as me, just don't install this app. If you did already, uninstalling it won't help. Back-up necessary stuff and just reflash rom.
