i dont mean to bash or be mean man and i know it can be confusing but wrong thread. ALL questions belong under Q and A

besides the obvious (wrong thread) I have the exact same issue. LGNPST keeps stopping at 67% or 85% and not working. Then my device stopped working all together. taking it to the store tomorrow.

I just unplugged my phone, let it reboot than plugged it back in and lgnpst finished up after that. It kept freezing at 85% for me.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda premium

The 67,85% issue is a bug with the software, but it's not an issue. Your device would reboot then and everything would be peachy.

Does your phone do anything while not plugged in? Mine when i bricked didn't. You may need to take out the battery.

Yes with a torx 5 screwdriver and Phillips 00

Ok! Even though this is the wrong forum...again I apologize. I was able to recover lol.
Heres the story: my phone soft bricked. I had zv8 rooted using the AIO tool and unlocked bootloader using freegee app..support the devs! And was lazy lol.
A friend of mine decided it would be a fantastic idea to allow the OTA for ZV9 to install...needless to say the phone went nuts. Into "epileptic mode" as I like to call it.
The phone would not turn on..at all...unless you hooked it up to usb or AC. And even if you connected to such power options...the phone would only flash the the red notification light and the softkeys consistently over and over like a police car lol.
Even after running LGNPST. It would go back to "epileptic mode" after reboot at 67%. I found this to be annoying....since the firmware was flashing without issue.
I hopped on IRC and fiddy and shelnut2 instructed me to do a battery pull. Thank God for them lol.
I got a T5 screwdriver and a small philips, removed both screws from the bottom and then removed the back cover carefully. Once it opened I peeled back the blue clear tape covering the battery connections and removed the two screws under that (used philips). Disconnected the battery for 5 seconds then reconnected and pressed power on button and finally.....PROFIT!!!!!!
Phone booted with stock firmware from LGNPST.

Prior to rooting and flashing cwm or any of that did you wipe google wallet (reset) prior? If not you may have borked it.

Is google wallet safe to use, what if you lose your phone. Can someone access your credit card info?

Google wallet is locked, in that everytime you open the app, you need to input your password. So unless they know the pin, they won't have access. Additionally, you can set up an additional screen lock pin.
worked like a charm
Thx

Dock mode won't shut off

So my phone looks like its in dock mode?!?!
The clock app displays/loads for no reason, even instead of lock screen. Every time I answer my phone, it answers it in speaker mode...
I'm running aokp m6, I even tried a restore from before this issue, but it still here.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have corrosion somewhere, possibly a port...those are pretty common symptoms of some type of minor liquid damage that we see come in

Suggestion? Take it into one of our Service and Repair stores lol.
If you really want to try it yourself, you need denatured alcohol with very high alcohol concentration. We also finish up with a gold contact cleaner, but I don't know where to get that.

Hey Devs, what is this Subsystem Crash???

So I've complained everywhere on this forum about my issues with Bluetooth on this phone. And it's probably just my device, but yesterday I tried to connect to a wireless Bluetooth speaker while at work like I do all the time. But this time, all of the sudden my signal cut out, wifi disconnected, Bluetooth failed, then the device rebooted but to this screen: (see attached image)
I just rebooted my phone and everything is working fine, but I wanted to see if anybody has experienced this or if any Dev could shine some light on what this may be.
If it's any help, I'm stock rooted ZV9

I am not a Dev, but you had a kernel crash. It happens sometimes...

Note 2 switches off by itself

Hi guys. Thanks for helping me get my note 2 up again. Now a problem that had been with my phone for a long time; the phone goes off by itself, even when it's on top of a desk untouched. Sometimes it goes off when it's charging and someone's when it's in my pocket.
I have to press the start button for like ten seconds to boot it; otherwise I remove the battery and replace it then press the start button like normal.
I tried flashing new factory roms to no avail; problem persists.
Other thanthis issuethe phoneworks verywell. What can I do to get this phone to work properly?
Thanks guys.

Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
From your description it can't be a simple loosened battery, I think its hardware related since flashing new roms dousnt work. You still have warranty?

Odin not recognizing my phone

So I am having a huge issue: about a year ago I rooted my sph-l900. No issues, flashed Roms perfect, no bricks, just a clean, perfect machine. Then about a week ago I decided to unroot to update to 4.3. Suddenly, Odin decides it no longer sees my phone in download mode. I've tried reinstalling drivers, using a different computer/cord, completely wiping the phone. Tried removing the battery, tried removing the SD card, even found a flashable zip that completely removed root and placed it back to stock. Now I'm at stock 4.3 and Odin still doesn't recognize my phone in download mode. I'm about to lose my mind. Anybody have a solution that doesn't involve one of the above?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Nobody? It's recognizing my phone outside of DL mode, just no luck when I'm actually in DL mode. (Yes, I've tried both putting it in DL then plugging it in and the opposite).

Probably wrong drivers.
Wish that was it. I've used around four or five different types (based on other sph-l900 users) and all end with bollocks.

Have you tried on a different pc? I know you said it recognizes it out of download mode but it doesn't hurt to try

Either that or perhaps the OP is using an old copy of Odin not intended for Knox ROMs.
OP, what Odin version are you running?
I've used everything from 1.83 to 3.09. I run as administrator. I'll try another cord later today when I get off work but I don't believe that's the issue.

Have you tried a different USB port on the pc? I can usually switch between the two front ports and Odin will finally recognize it.

Solved. For some reason when I used someone else's cord (and my laptop), Odin noticed it right off the bat. Thanks for the help guys!

I had this issue before and helped someone out here recently. Despite the cable "working" most of them don't. I've ALWAYS used a genuine HTC cable (yeah I know...I have a Samsung product) whenever messing around with Odin or when connected to the baseband. Those aftermarket/ebay cables should be avoided for anything other than charging or using MTP.

Meh. Monoprice cables work fine IME.
It was an LG cord that did it. But my last cord I used was a ten dollar one from a gas station.
