Most stable marvelc Rom? Virgin mobile wildfire s

Just got a wildfire s on vm.. I like the phone but want a fast and stable Rom to use on it.. any suggestions?

Not a lot of choices... There's a few modded stock roms, a buggy as hell cm7, and an abandoned cm9 that still has a few issues.

Your choices are the tweaked stocks that are buried in this forum by jmz and insink, or the cm9 project that modpunk has graciously started for the C. The most stable are obviously the stocks. But cm9 has such few bugs, it's possible to use as a daily driver.

I'm using jmz Rom right now I just love cm7 and wish we had a stable version.. I probably won't have this phone long.. I tried cm9 I'm just not a big fan of ics..

I have been using the Wildchild 3.3 deodexed Rom just follow these steps to get it to run and also use the data2sd script and you get loads of storage. My Antutu score with this rom is 2069, not bad.

Stable rom
My favorite rom is MIUIus.v4 2.1012. MMS doesn't receive unless you use What's app from the Market. It's the fastest and most stable I have used and have been for 2 months. pm me.

I think the CM 10 for MarvelC users by po1vo is quite good, cause there is a short buglist and user like it, but i didn't try.

Try the WildChild v3.3...I've try more ROMs but that is the best join my opinion...

I'm just curious of what ROM you guys are using as a daily driver for your galaxy s 2 T-Mobile
I personally use paranoid android jb because I I like the hybrid theme and also camera and gnow are freaking good..!

Darkside evolution v8. As much as cm9, cm10 and aokp are much moar awesome-r than touchwiz, none of them give me at least half the battery life that darkside evo does. In the end, I'd rather have my phone make it through the entire day with normal use than half the day with moderate use.

Used skyrocket jb one for a week. Was a good rom. It had graphics driver issue which caused youtube freezes and it had no video recording as well. Gave a shot to jedi mind trick ics, it's definitely a dd.

My daily is CM9 stable.
And my nightly seems to be CM10 Alpha.
I tried Evo and didn't seem to get the same battery life as the Darkside Telus build, which is a little strange. Then again I do have the Telus version of the phone... starting to think there are differences. Might explain why some people get a working camera with CM10 and some don't. Then again there may not be any correlation whatsoever and I just have bad luck. Leaning towards the latter...

+1 For CM9 Stable, and it'll stay that way til CMX or AOKP is stable enough for my liking.

AOKP ICS is very stable. I'm with you all the way as far as the JB ROMS.

I have a modded ICS like in topic title - meXdroidMod_Fried_IceCream3. Is there a ROM with o/c (1.5 GHz is enough) and better stability, speed and look? And with less memory usage? I wasn't there by 2 months and I guess things changed

These are my two favorite ICS roms, I'd say both are faster and more stable than friedicecream, that was great when devs were first working on getting ICS to work right on the vision, things have come a long way since then

Hmmm I've been using revolt (JB) rom and Dorian v5.70 kernel
and I must say I'm amassed by it's speed and stability I have found no bugs whatsoever. So well think about it and have a look I wish u the best in finding the Rom to your needs; )

Andromadus Mimicry 1.4 here. No bugs, smooth as my gf's butt (you need to take that for granted ) and the stability is great. I don't want to change to normal cm9 now, cause it's poor compared to Mimicry IMHO.

Andromadus Mimicry 1.5 is out. NOW.

you can use MIUI v4 or paranoid android ICS ROMS on you wfs, JB ROMS are in WIP, ICS is also buggy but JB contains more bugs than ICS. So, if you want to try ICS or JB, you should first go for ICS.

For ics I prefer paranoidandroid.

I've no idea of JB coz Im still waiting for Alpha 1 to fix some crucial bugs.
But for ICS I'm using the latest MIUI and I have to say I'm quite impressed with it. Just the thing is it lacks battery life.
Also CM9 is my favorite. The fastest and the best.

My MIUI I liked, but this in English, and I am Spanish and do not know enough in English to have a rom only in English, and Chinese less :laugh:

I think SpeedDroid v1.32 ICS is the best rom in my experience. Really stable, without bugs and impressive benchmark scores, great battery life. JB is still a bit buggy so for daily use I would rather wait until the bugs are sorted out. That being said, this ol' little phone while certainly not the most powerful out there is still a nice one since developers keep up there good work

i suggest get the unofficial port of cm9...chk it up on google...it looks awesome...though there are sum bugs,it cn b used :laugh:

I used stock XXLMI. i want update my phone newest versions but i dont do it cuz this versions isnt stable. one weeks ago i installed a jb rom and in this rom it isnt any music player, i installed a music player but i didnt use it cuz this force closes. What's your suggestion for me ??

Just stick to CM9 till a more stable release for CM10 is out. If you have trouble with permissions, go to recovery and use fix permissions.
Don't get me wrong. That's just my opinion... You can use CM10 if you like. For music player, use Google Play Music.

All the ROM for this device are almost the same, all ics/jb roms are basead on arco's source,which means that there are no significant difference in battery/performance/bugs between them, the only difference is the mods, apps (removed or moded), and a few tweaks.
Pick the rom you like the most, if you want a clean rom and you don't care about those mods just pick CM9 or CM10, I would go for cm10, it's stable enough for daily use.
Edit: If you're a gamer go for cm9, or cm9 basead roms.

Yes, normal stock JB is better than stock ICS but we are talking about an ICS ROM that has RC stage while the JB is only at its alpha stage. The tweaks and 'project butter' smoothness will not be at its... Full power? Just saying. Not bias to any ROM at all. Different people have different opinions.

If you ask me what is the best ROM in W. Then I would say: Nothing.
What's the best for me maybe its not the same for someone else. Maybe someone said: 'Ah CM10 FTW!!!' but then someone else argued: 'No!! CM9 is better blah blah blah'. And someone else said SlimBean 4.2 is da best.. e.t.c. And you know what will happen next.
If you want to ask what is the best ROM, ask it yourself. Try any ROM and Mods that might fit your requirements. (And expectation, of course)

Finally I decided to upgrade from gingerbread to CM10, skipping CM9. And I am happy that I did it. There is a huge difference, my phone is much smoother now.. games are also fine, no lag at all
