Please don't ask twice.
Now, you've flashed an OTA, which is usually only flashed when you have a stock ROM already installed. Not sure if that is the error, but instead flash an RUU. This will erase CWM, everything excluding HBOOT. Now, I'm sure yo uknow how to flash an RUU. Now I'm not sure of a specific RUU, take a look at shipped-roms.com but this *might* work : RUU_Buzz_Froyo_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.24.707.1_Radio_13.55 .55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_161113_signed.exe (google)
Once you've done that; go back to S-ON with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160251

i changed the filetype to .zip and put that into my sd card.
in recovery mode i tried to install it..

You run the ruu as a program on your PC, you don't flash it in recovery!

There are many other custom roms available to give HTC Sense & Market back to you. Not sure how to give back Sense, but Market can easily be given back using Cyanogen + latest Google Apps, for Sense you'd have to search the forums.
RUU should indeed only be run on your PC, while your phone is running 'normally'. (HTC probably expects all users to be n00bs who don't know about the HBOOT menu)
Let me first give all the details I can on my phone.
from the bootload screen
BRAVOC DVT2 SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-0.98.0000
MICROP-051e
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-2.05.10.08.11
from miui
Baseband version: 2.05.10.08.11
Kernel version: 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod-geb50077

Its running an MIUI Rom, I have no idea how I got it to get on there. But I'm need this rom to be installed Click here
I have searched around a lot before I wanted to post so I could try fixing it on my own, but I could not find what I needed.
I've found out that I needed to downgrade my hboot, so I tried this http://alpharev.nl/ and I got all the way to where the fastboot tried to write the .img file to the phone, but gave me the (REMOTE: FAILED) error...
I've rooted the phone before, I believe it was with http://unrevoked.com/#desire But not 100% sure. But thats my bet
I have tried to installed that rom (Click here) with CWM, but this is the error I get..
<!--Begin
Clockworkmod Recovery v5.0.2.0
-- Installing /sdcard/MildWild-CM-5.0_2.zip
Finding update package...

assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device"0 == "

I I getprop("ro.product.board"0 == "bravo"
E:Error in /sdcard/MildWild-CM-5.0_2.zip

<!--End
And this question is optional if possible, Do I have the latest RADIO, and if not what is the latest? I can search around if you let me know there is a newer one. Thanks
I know you guys work a lot on here, and I'm nothing but a stranger, But I do appreciate all the help you guys give me You're the first place I go to find updates, FAQs and solutions to problems I have.
I'm kind of new at this but I think you attempted to flash a GSM ROM on your CDMA phone. You need a ROM for the Bravoc. CM7 for gingerbread or Spazedog if you want ICS. I've used both and am waiting on Cronmod CDMA version
My radio is 2:15:00:11:16 sorry I can't be of any help on where to upgrade.

Hey guys,
I have been lurking around the forums for sometime now and I could not find the solution to my problem so I hope someone will be able to help me.
My HTC One X (cid : HTC__203) was rooted and I tried a few ROMS before deciding to sell it before getting the upcoming HTC One.
I used the RUU to flash the original ROM I bought the phone with. I've found the file using this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660807
Current phone version is :
Now the phone issue is that Android updates cannot be installed. OTA is working, updates are detected and downloaded :
If I just say Intall now, the phone restarts with CWM (v5.8.4.0) and says it cannot mount the SD card. So I just go to Install zip from sdcard and open the file from the download folder. Then it goes :
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package ...
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
So I toggle off both signature verification and get a new error about script asserts :
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update ...
assert failed: check_cid(getprop("ro.cid"), "00000000" , "11111111" .... (same pattern to 9 then comes some CID numbers where my phone one is listed)
, "HTC__001" ............... , "HTC__203" , .... , "HTC__016") == "t"
E: Error in /sdcard/Download/OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_and_blablabla.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.
From there I don't know what to do. I tried to download and install the last RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.27_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed
But it fails as well :
My knowledge of phone tweaking does not go further and I don't know what to do to update my phone and make sure next updates will work.
Thanks for reading and for your help.
Re: HTC One X cannot update after getting back to Stock ROM
You cant update via a custom recovery !
Download this file
http://bugsylawson.com/index.php/fi...-r-radio-5120416229-release-302015-signedexe/
Read carefully :
Put the phone in the bootloader and relock it
Fastboot oem lock
Keep the phone in the bootloader and then click the ruu with the right mouse button and select :
"Run as administrator"
This will bring it back to stock.
What is the outcome of
Fastboot getvar version-main
Edit : i cant see the pictures very well, they are small and get blurry when i zoom them

Ok well that helps a lot. I'll try and install the stock recovery. So from what I understand, every time I'll want to install OTA updates, I'll just have to switch back to stock recovery, install the update and then reinstall CWM if I need it ?
Thanks for the info
Re: HTC One X cannot update after getting back to Stock ROM
Yeah you need stock rom, kernel and recovery to be able to perform an official htc ota

Uh ....thanks .....I guess
Good it worked mate.
CASE CLOSED !
Hi,
I tryed to Update my phone with original rom trought the phone. First try and it tells me trath there is a error (Status 7). Then i found a way how to skip this error (with deleting of the assets from script file) and install it. And after that my fight with the phone starts. After the install the OS start reboot continuesly. Somehow i flash the boot.img and start Philz Touch 5 Recovery system. After that flash the ROM with Cyanogen. First i got the same Error (Status 7) and once again fix it. Then install it and the phone starts. But after 30 seconds is freeze and can't do anything, only restart. The HBOOT version is 0.95. I thin that maybe this error (Status 7) comes with any reason, and maybe this becomes from wrong ROM.
Please if someone could help! The phone is not mine and i didn't fix it should pay it . If you need any other info just send me a message.
Thank you in advance!
ufff...first...this thread will be moved...and i hope very fast...this is dev thread not q+a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
next....i dont know....you did so much massive wrong....please buy a i thing...really...and never flash a custom rom...or do a research or asking before..if you dont understand what you are doing....i also was a beginner in the past....but i can good read and follow and ask...not just flash...äähhm..what iḿ doing...it do not start anymore
you should really read before do flashing
--------------------------------
from what i read you have a custom recovery...did you maked a nandroid backup before you did anything...if yes...restore it and flash the boot.img of it..reboot and you are done...if not search a rom what works on hboot 0.95...means no jb
flash it..and its boot.img
before you can flash a original rom...means ruu...you should research..there are some guides here
i dont think cyanogen can be installed on hboot 0.95......
I think you should've updated the HBOOT on forehand. The Status 7 error is a check, not a fault.
You can download a RUU from one of the stickies in the Android Development forums and revert to stock, then update (incl HBOOT) and then try again.

but because of the Android version, sometimes CM/AOSP/AOKP/AOSPA can't be installed as like sense one hboot versions which are lower that should be...better is always to update...especially if you are on hboot 0.95...thats for ALL really to low ...
