Galaxy Nexus ROMs with ETS Channel Set To USB (Besides EOS ROM!) - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys, the title says it all. I'm trying to find some Verizon Galaxy Nexus ROMs with ETS Channel Set to USB already. I'm currently running an awesome 4.2.2 ROM (MMuzzy) but don't think there's a way to set ETS to USB unfortunately. I've used the Team EOS ROM before and it honestly just feels like ICS. I want at least a 4.2.1 ROM but I don't know of any that I can use with ETS. Just so you know, I've already flashed the Sprint radios to disable UIM and I've used script manager to make the changes for USB MODEM and USB PDA, still not working with ETS. It still just autoruns when I attach phone shows it as device. Thanks so much guys!

Shame. You were doing so well until the ICS comment, which doesn't even make sense. Oh, and since this is the development board, thank you for developing this. I missed the download link.

How's the battery life on this???

You say shame but.. the Team EOS "Jellybean" rom doesn't include Google Now, Quick Settings, the updated browser or basically anything else from Jelly Bean. Have you ever actually used the TeamEOS ROM for the Galaxy Nexus? Even the transitioning between windows, desktops, etc is sluggish.. i.e no project butter from jelly bean. I'm just calling a spade a spade.
EDIT: It also doesn't have torch. And "lol" isn't even in the dictionary! C'mon now

GoogleNow is a part of Gapps, and legally can not be packaged with any AOSP distro. If you had more than 30 posts you may know that.

May I buy drugs from you? You're clearly on something based on your OP and this post. I've been a loyal EOS fan/stalker since I found the ROM and all I can say is you're 100% wrong on everything you've said. This rom comes "with" Google Now (via gapps), Quick Settings AND the quick setting manager (ya know that thread by kevdliu - EOS team member), and contains all the goodness that is Jelly Bean. I'm starting to wonder if YOU ever used the EOS4 rom because if you have you never would have made claims like this.
Being a ROM skank I've tried them all & come back to EOS every time because of the speed & mods I want/use. If I were you I'd request this thread be closed, you check your facts, and think before you post next time.

Don't close it yet this is hilarious.

The theme is Cobalt paid. It's a sick theme for sure. Glass is our version of system bars transparency. It's getting there but not ready to be merged yet. Our implementation is rather unique and deserves the proper polish first. Let's leave the poor OP alone  He seemed most eager to put my project on blast. I'm not sure why. Nor do I care. Although the answer to his ets question is right in front of him, I don't know if he has the vision to see...

Wtf?

Included kernel is stock (so as to not break signing)
BAMF is now using private signing keys. This means other system mods from other devs will not work with this rom, most likely, unless signed with our key. This was a necessary evil to make the rom more secure. It will help prevent a malicious application from gaining system control and getting access to sensitive data. Themers and modders that work with the team can contact us for these private keys. We cannot allow for public availability for obvious reasons, however. For those we do give the keys to, if they are leaked, we will simply change the key and give nobody access. So please respect our wishes to keep them private. The signing of this rom and apps MAY require a wipe to properly install.
Changelog, kernel:
----------
Overclocked to 1.35ghz, with stock speed steps.
Defaults to 1.2ghz
Tweaked deadline and CFS
charging while off works (Thanks Fabolous, Bixie)

Before I wipe everything to try this, is there any control provided over the search widget on the home screen? I know I'm in the minority, but I really like having it and don't want to give it up. I'd flash a mod over it to bring back the stock launcher, but by the sound of things, it looks like I can't with these private key files.

Fantastic ROM, light, flawless when paired with Franco's/Trinity kernels. Been using Pete's builds and AOKP mostly, best ROMs around imho. Great addition with the notification widgets in latest build too.
Thanks for your work Pete
Very interesting, keeping an eye on this one.
Great just what i was looking for to power my nexus, gonna test it now, thanks.
EDIT : Works perfectly so far, fast and stable and not to many customisations, just like a rom is supposed to be if you like close to stock
Battery life is excellent also, less than 1%/h in standby with latest Franco kernel 16.1.
Good job, gonna stick with this one at least untill cm9 is released!
Thanks Im gonna try it tonight.
so, anybody have tried it? any comments?
how about comparison with others?
Have been using them for a while, very nice with an authentic stock taste, I highly recommend Peter's nightlies since i never encountered any problems using them, actually they are there in Rom Manager's rom list, check the comments there, i use them with franco's kernel
Glad you like it!
hi
love to see this rom but one big question i got how is it possible to add mah to the battery ?
if you can ask me this question i will flash it ^^

Does the ROM have facebook sync?
I really love this rom.Fast and stable.
It would be nice to have % battery and facebook sync.

It's barebone stock ICS with a few optimizations and notification widgets, a la CM. It's probably the smoothest ROM out there, been running Pete's builds for about 2 months, never had an issue.
Pete, if its possible to implement an option to have Batt % if one choses this, for me, would be the perfect ROM.
Nice rom please add batt %.

Very very nice smooth rom. I had to switch back to aokp though since you can't add and remove nav buttons from the nav bar, other than that it was great. A stock aosp rom like this with nav bar control, battery percentage (like the bar/percent from apex or gummy), and notification toggles( which you already included) would be absolutely the perfect smooth slim rom. Thanks for your work Pete. If you add those options I'll be back otherwise just keep up the amazing work its much appreciated!

Nice rom, It's fast and stable. It also adds one of my favorite CM features: the notification power widget. I'll play around with this one for a bit. Thanks Pete
Great ROM! I was looking for something near stock and this is it. Thanks!
hi peter
ihave questions
1-do i need wipe if im coming from another rom
and do i need wipe if i want to upgrade from version to another in ur nightly roms ?
2- is 7 feb is the last version fo gsm nexus ?
3- you have ota updates?
thanks alot dowloading !
1: Yes Wipe if u come from another rom otherwise not. BUT nice to wipe always. 2: Yes. 3: don't know what u mean ?

Basically you can use 2 windows side by side like watch a video and browse the net......ergo a true multitasking system.
Our nexus 7 has a bigger screen real estate and the only limiting factor i see is the availability of 1GB of RAM.But if anyone can make it work, then it is the devs.
So if any dev is Interested.....here is a link to a thread where the op has found all the goodies required for this port on the original note(the work there has just begun ::silly

Tablets are big. Smartphone apps are small. This would seem to present an obvious answer to the many, many Android apps that scale up to massive resolutions instead of adjusting their total user interface Ice Cream Sandwich-style. But no, apps form unconcerned or merely oblivious developers continue to scale up, as if someone ran over an Android smartphone with a steamroller. I'm surprised there's no aosp project like this already. I'm sure it relies heavily on the touchwiz framework so it probably can't be ported.
I've been using popup browser which works pretty well. I'd definitely love to see this feature though.
This and the Quick Apps feature is amazing.
The original Transformer had ported over the Quick Apps feature. The dev is gone and I haven't see it since. The multipane solution would ease multitasking with work projects.

Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.

No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

Omni is a community-based project for the Android community which is Free^3: Free to Use, Free to Modify, Free to Share. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android - http://omnirom.org/
WARNING: This project is WIP and therefor has not (yet) all the features that are planned. Things will get better though. Omni is build against Android 4.3.1, so so you no more mobile disconnects. A rough progress of the features and bug fixes being added can be found here: https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:merged,n,z
As I don't own the device myself I can't test this, so please do yourself a pleasure and make a backup before flashing
The only things added to the standard Omni tree are the things needed to make it compile. And I cherry picked the Multiwindow feature. To use it go to recent apps -> long press -> add to multiwindow. Pressing home clears it
Anyway, here the link, it's on Google Drive (builddate 2013/10/29):

or the xperimental GApps for Android 4.3 (thanks to BaNkS, follow his thread here):

Omni has not merged SuperSU yet so you'll have to add it yourself if you want root priviliges:
http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
If this is helpfull I'll try to update the builds every now and then until there are official nightly builds from the Omni team

Yep, I noticed. Technically it works, but you need to enter the APN yourself, the build uses the GSM APN list instead of the CDMA one. I uploaded a new version, see OP. Please test and let me know it this is working

New version posted on OP. This build is based on Android 4.3.1 now, so old disconnects fron 4.3 should be history on Omni too now
Solid ROM, have been using it daily since it popped up. Fast and smooth plus multi window has been very useful. Thx for sharing!

I didn't have mobile data at first either.had to toggle from CDMA to LTE/CDMA before it finally kicked in. It hasn't disconnected since though. Overall this is a very stable ROM with no random reboots so far. I have installed nexuslouder and quite a few xposed modules. Everything runs fine
Which GAPPS did you install?
