Seeder wrecked my battery life hard core so watch out people. I posted in that original thread a few months ago whenever it came out and the developer responded to me saying that our phones already have this tweak enabled. Because of that when you install seeder on the 747 conflicts happen. I'm not a dev so sorry if that is too basic of a explanation.
Essentially. Proceed with caution. My battery life dropped from 1 day to 4 hours after installing this.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I'm using CrossBreeder instead of Seeder, and my battery life has not taken a hit with it. Search for it here on XDA.
So I did a little research for this app
And dig deep and its a placebo.
It honestly just stops the CPU from sleeping. Nothing else......
This will drain your battery and screw things up if you're running any governors on a modified kernel.
Our devices are clocked at 1.5Ghz with 2gb of RAM.
if you're experiencing lag something is wrong and you don't need these kind of apps.

I'm doing a little project for school at the moment and would very much appreciate if people with the TMO GS3 could post screenshots of their Quadrant benchmark scores.
I'm comparing the scores between the GNex and the US GS3 (GS3 will clearly win but this is just for the sake of doing it) and need at least 20 scores per phone. Since I have a GNex and GS3, I'm hoping you guys can provide me with 19 more scores for the GS3. I'm also posting this in the GNex forum since more people will have that phone over there.
Hoping some people can help me out considering the fact that there is no way I can personally get 38 more phones to complete the project o_o
Sorry if I missed a thread similar to this already, but with the old combined US forum and this TMO forum, looking through the pages is difficult.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1869524&highlight=benchmarks
Maybe this will help.
Thanks. I'll have to wait until my internet improves :/ none of the pictures are loading right now
I'll go look for a previous benchmarks for the GNex before posting over there since it's likely they have something similar. Thanks again.

The most stability definitely comes from the CM7 roms. I personally have not used them but I am almost positive that they work 100%. Another suggestion would be AndyBoneStock, I believe it was same as stock but debloated.
Thanks for the advice! I will check those out. The wife doesn't let me mess with her phone much so it needs everything to work & be solid. I have the original Incredible and a Nexus 4 to take care of my flash habit.

Of course but its more than being high and mighty. The more threads made, the harder it is to find things. If there's like 30 threads asking the same thing, it gets kinda old. Because usually it means they didn't even bother trying to look first. Which is am XDA rule.

Also, does this banned ROM have a smooth handoff between 3G/LTE/WiFi?
I ask because I have flashed several AOSP and AOKP ROMs and they all seemed to struggle for signal strength (thus, draining the phone battery much faster than a TW ROM).

I've only tried a few roms and read a lot of reviews on others and decided not to flash any for a while. So right now I'm wondering if I can still flash different kernals without a specific rom? If so which would be best for stock root? I'm mainly looking for battery life and performance with maybe a few customizations if that matters any?

Flash ktoonesz kernel and then head over to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032956
Every since I flashed this kernal its been freezing up and causing me to have to do a hard restsart. I'm jus going to revert to my backup and and try figure something else since I only understand half of what's going on in that thread and no one seems interested in helping with my issue. Thanks for your suggestion btw. If u have anything else I'm more than willing to try it out.

Stock is Touchwiz, if you're stock rooted then yes, you are on a Touchwiz (or TW) ROM.

Yeah there is, ther'es AGAT kernel, theres freeza's optimized kernel, and then there's one more I think. Oh yeah, anthrax kernel, but that's not on these forums.

Ktoonz kernel is my favorite, there is no best though... things didn't match what was shown because you have to use the ktweaker app and change your governor and io scheduler to the ones who's tweaks you're looking at...

Trial and error, Google and the kernelizers thread will be your best friend throughout your journey of ktoonz kernel tweaking... you can find that thread in general section... in the op you will see links to the team's box account that has pudding setups for you to use... gman and mw86 have the top battery saving setups with great performance also... read through the op and ask any questions about tweaking you may have in there... if anybody gives you a hard time on any questions you may have tell them I sent you! Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and new to smartphone enhancing. I'm currently running build 6 of AOKP 4.2.2 on my AT&T Note II along with Apex launcher; its been a killer combo for me so far. I would like to find a good kernel that will run nicely at 1800. I haven't been able to find many kernels compatible with AOKP however. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and I'm glad to be apart of the community.

But if you're dead set on trying it out I'm sure you can find something in the development section.
