It's my understanding that boost has to actually add 4g to your account, although cost doesn't change. try giving customer service a call and asking them to enable it on the account. that is my estimation of the problem, but i certainly am no professional.

also they will not take your flashed epic touch and magically give you 4g cause your donor phone is most likely a 3g phone and that is what they give the service to not your flashed epic 4g

If you are accessing via 'Favorites" you must delete and re-add the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, and Q & A will appear.

+1 on this...This rom you posted is AMAZING!!!! I've been using my phone for 19 days now without a single charge and my Battery is still reading 98%...I dont know why you would mention Cyanogen...I'm thinking you should call this ROM "LOVE-MUSCLE"!!!

No. It needs to be prepacked and flashed with a kernel. It won't stick after reboot. It does work. It even flashed a modem for me.

Was excited I got over 100kb on the "now network" considering I remember when I had my epic4g and would consistently get 2mb down PRE IPHONE invasion. And have since subsequently getting poor network connectivity. Its almost bareable.

Theres an option for CDMA only (no LTE) however leaving the CDMA/LTE option enabled has no truly noticeable effect on battery

Obviously there is because your phone certainly isn't connecting to wimax.
You can go to s4gru.com and check to see if there are live towers near you... though I think we can assume there are.

In addition to checking out s4gru.com as decke003 stated you can also visit http://www.sensorly.com/ and select Sprint - 4G and see if anyone else has saw LTE.
Texas is the most 4G'ed in the country I believe. I was getting 4G in a middle of nowhere in Texas. (truck driver)
