I'm looking for a program to make a one-to-one copy of a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 running Jellybean 4.1. I need an uncompressed image for Digital Forensics work. I can't root the device without compromising the data and causing some unpleasant legal issues. If anyone knows of a program that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Any devs here interested in getting Kies Air to work on the Gnex?
- My understanding is that it should work with galaxy products. Yet, I am unable to install it. If you need the Kies.apk I will gladly upload it otherwise check out google.
I enjoyed this APK on my Galaxy S II from TmoUSA - Was hoping it would work out for my Gnex. - Not sure if it needs framework or just updates to internal code of the Apk.
What does it do?

The APK allows you to view files ect.. and sync via the samsung Windows $oftware. It also allows you to manage the phone via Wifi - thus no need for sync cable and so on. Its rather nice imo and well coded. I found very few issues with it when i have my SGS II.
Anyone had any luck with this? I liked the ability to manage my GS2 as well as send and receive text messages from my phone through my browser.
I would like to be able to do this on my Galaxy Nexus as well, I know its not officially supported but I figured the xda community would have a work around
Try Airdroid while waiting for Kies Air available?
I had no idea such a thing existed, fantastic!
thanks again
Hey guys,
I was wondering...when this phone finally gets the office ICS update..will it have the "android beam" capabilities that the Galaxy Nexus has? I don't necessarily mean having to hold it back-to-back with another phone to exchange information, but can we do information transfer simply with NFC? I've read online that it won't have those capabilities since it doesn't have "modern NFC hardware". But this surprises me and strikes me as odd...can anyone tell me what's what?
thanks!!
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII
Running on 3.3, waiting on 4.0

it's a build in feature of ICS, so yes
i'm also looking forward to Android Beam
in fact, that is the only reason i want to get ICS
otherwise i don't even bother
my current alternative is to use WiFi File Transfer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antosdr.wififiletransfer
or Bluetooth File Transfer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp
Didn't know what to write as a title...

Plenty of tethering data call on my tfp, file sharing between both devices, and when i can, i'll unlock my tfp, flash cm on it, flash cm on the nexus, and then i can adb either on the go! adb over network is a beatiful feature indeed.
I am running CleanRom AT&T SE (4.1.2), but the current voice files are very choppy and ugly. I remember the stock voice output being much smoother and nicer. Anyways, if anyone has them, I'd really appreciate if they shared them.
Thanks

I would like some advice on how best to clone the setup for a Galaxy Tab 3 across 100 devices that will be given away at a conference. I am very familiar with rooting my own device, but I am most interested in saving time.
Can anyone recommend their best idea on how to clone the homepages, bookmarks, video and wallpaper we have added to a prototype across a bulk amount of devices?
Obviously we could do it manually. Obviously trying to avoid that.
Obviously I could root, install CWM and create a recovery image that I could then flash across each device. Obviously this is riskier, and it seems like only a slightly less time-consuming process.
Any advice on backup software that doesn;'t require root, etc. would be great. I am a Titanium with root guy myself, so I don't know much about these more "legit" methods.
Thanks for your help.
Have you looked in to using kies to back your "donor" tab and then restoring the fikes to another device? It may still be time consuming, but I think it may offer a partial alternative that does not require rooting every unit. There is an optiin to transfer data to another device.
