my galaxy nexus rom does have volume rocker wake hack.does someone had already implement this on other rom?ive tried omega and wanamlite..TIA

When I have locked my device and the screen is turned off and I press the volume rocker, it puts the screen on and changes the ringer volume. Can I disable this somehow? Very annoying since the volume rocker itself is very sensitive.

Is anyone aware of a mod or procedure to will remap the volume buttons to control the media volume instead of the ring/notification volume?
Is anyone else genuinely annoyed with the fact there is no volume lock option on this device? When I want to lower the volume with the rocker on say the lock screen, only the ringer volume goes down, and I have to click the gear icon to manually adjust the volume for the notificatons/media/etc.
I know there are manual volume profile apps/widgets out there, but maybe I'm just old school and want to use the rocker to adjust my volume down for all possible audio output at once.
Any workarounds known out there?
