[Q] AT&T Note II with Straight Talk - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hello, I just recently got an unlocked I317 and was wondering what the best configuration would be with straight talk, I have both a t-mobile (trimmed to micro) sim and an AT&T micro sim. I did the qcf hack to enable AWS but it didn't appear to work well with my rom of choice (MIUI). and I was wondering if I should just switch to my AT&T micro or stick with the t-mobile. and If I stick with the T-mobile then how can I resolve the MIUI issue? Is there a Kernel that has the AWS bands unlocked that will work with MIUI?

These are the ATT settings

Well that is unhelpful as he is asking about the AWS meaning he has the TMOBILE straight talk sim he`s wanting to work.

Oddly enough after a data wipe, i got the data .

Sprint Version S3 on a Tmobile Network???

Hi,
I was wondering if it is at all possible to use an unlocked Sprint version of the Galaxy S3 on T-Mobile's network and still have all of the functionality?
No. Sprint uses cdma technology like Verizon. T-Mobile uses gsm like at&t and the rest of the world

This. The CDMA version on Sprint doesn't have a SIM card slot unfortunately. I've read that it has an internal SIM card hardwired into the motherboard, etc.
Sprint SGS 3. Note the missing SIM card slot.

Straight talk LTE

Started talking about this in another thread.
As of this afternoon my gs3 on straight talk with AT&T sim has gotten LTE. No clue why. I was having trouble with mms and talked to straight talk CS yesterday and he mentioned my account had some discrepancies between the front end and back end of the network and they would work on it. Today, boom LTE.

When I awoke this morning of Friday the 13th, the unluckiest of days, I discovered my precious LTE has run it's course. I did all of could to resuscitate it but failed in all attempts. So here's to you LTE, I hardly knew ye.

SGH-T999 RF band selection?

I can't able to post this on the Android Development page, due to that I am a new member.
So I was playing around with the USSD codes, and I do know that T-Mobile earlier versions of SGS3 (SGH-T999, not SGH-T999L) does not support LTE. But After pressing *#2263#, I found out that they did this:

I was quite surprised about that it is on WCDMA/GSM mode. If I turn on LTE/WCDMA, LTE/GSM, or automatic, would I able to get LTE signal? Of course I live in an area that has LTE, Los Angeles (would be really surprised if they still haven't have LTE yet on our area). So what do you guys think?
By the way, I am using Android 4.3, the latest android that Galaxy S3 can support at the moment, if that helps.
Still no replies? :/

It won't work

Thanks for the reply serio. But why wouldn't it work?

Hello all

Does anyone know if the developer edition note 4 has its downloadbooster unblocked? I'm planning on buying it soon
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
That's a curious question. Why would download booster be blocked on a dev edition? Download booster is just an option on the phone that allows large files to be downloaded faster by using both Wifi and LTE networks at the same time. I wouldn't imagine they would block it for any reason on the dev edition.
Are you perhaps wondering if the dev edition has an unlocked bootloader?
No I know the bootloader is unlocked it's that I heard Verizon hid download booster on note 4 as well , unless I was misinformed, so I was curious to know if dev edition would be the same
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Download booster is not hidden on my Verizon retail version of the Note 4.

Volte

Has it been confirmed that it will support Volte?
Specifically on T-Mobil
Thanks
Yes
This is actually something I wanted to know as well. I am currently on Sprint with a Note 4 and absolutely need wifi-calling as I am in a dead zone. Sprint wifi-calling is a no-go for unlocked devices so I will most likely be switching to t-mobile to take advantage of their support.
Google stated wifi calling will work out of the box for tmo and vzw and possibly other carriers as they make it available.
The nexus 6p does wifi calling as well on tmo, but not sure about VoLTE.

How about on AT&T? Looks like I'm going to have to bail on my Note 7 replacement. (I'm not scared it will blow up, but AT&T and Sumsung keep sending me annoying reminders to shut it down all the time.)
