I dont use gamebooster, I play in ondemand but people say that interactive is better to play! With ondemand for me work perfect no lag, very smooth!!

I personally use ondemand and set min/max cpu to 1.4Ghz during gaming only

Okej, well i tested ordroid with stock with ondemand and interactive and i play the game Zen pinball and its not that heavy and it laggs very much !
I dont know why but it should not lagg.
But now im running Ordroid with Kazmik kernel and it runs very smooth with no lagg at all !
I think Kazmik Kernel is the best gaming kernel out today, with a clean rom like ordroid i must say im impressed!

Hi, what u guys (and ladies) think about performance of this phone, I'm not happy at all... I buy hi-end phone with quad core, but for example GTA III seems to be lagging, this game was much more smooth on my Sensation with OC to 1,7. NOVA 3, also is laggy. I'm using viper 1.01 rom with faux kernel, with stock kernel was the same. How are u feelings about this?

Nova is not lagging for me at all. Try the latest kernel of faux(004b6), also use hamdir's gaming guide. About those games being smoother on the sensation, that's sort of to be expected. Those games can't do anything with the tegra 3 because it's not optimized. The developers, especially gameloft, does not care for tegra. They depend on raw power, where as tegra depends on optimization. I'm also using faux kernel with viperrom. Try hamdir's gaming guide, and remember the interactive governor is broken on the latest faux kernel so you should use ondemand.
I think it would've also been more appropriate to post this in the before mentioned gaming thread. You're answer would've been very quickly answered.

I was disappointed with the performance with the One X when I first got it as well. It was getting ****e Quadrant scores. Laggy interface and crap game performance.
I slapped on InsertCoin, flashed Franco's latest kernel, ran V6 supercharger and followed hamdir's gaming guide and it fixed everything. I now get about 800 more points in Quadrant, and games run perfectly smooth.

But it sucks, that we have to read 100 articles, perform some magic, to be able to play hd games when buing quad core phone, wich isn't cheap... I bet on SG III everything working fine

I know, we don't have to do so much just to play games decently. As far as I know, everything is not so smooth sailing for the s3.

It really isn't the phone's fault. Those games are just not optimized for T3.

And I bet that there are games that don't work well on SIII.

this is the problem with u people u buy a device n have the burning sensation that the alternative does better
let me tell u this every trick in the gaming guide I actually learned from the sgs2 forums
I guess they really needed all those governor tweaks too, let me tell u something else
don't ever expect full performance out of ur mashine when all default android CPU governors come so heavily tweaked to save battery
the on-demand default only calls full speed at 90% load, the interactive default only calls it at 97% load that's really conservative, the situation is the same on every other device
I remember I had the same gov issue with my sensation stock (In ARHD mike had them optimized) also had the issue with my DHD
android = non game friendly governors that needs to be tweaked
and finally the Asus prime comes with a performance profiles built-in and this app all it does is load the very same optimized values in my guide and scripts
u don't need to read anything just use my scripts, also the latest ARHD has the on demand optimized out of box if u can't bother
oh and nova 3 as well as most GL games runs smooth as butter on sgs3 because GL optimizes for Mali devices and neglect Tegra, maybe because of some unannounced contract
so go get it be happy

The only real issue I have found is that it tends to overheat when playing games for long periods of time..
Hi guy, I'm using Viper X 2.1.0 and would like to experiment a different kernel so I can improve battery life, performance and stability.
Tks guys!
im using faux 007 mainstream version, and even that is much better than stock unrooted.
get the renovate gaming boost app as well and games are sooooo much better! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783260

It depends on your usage. There are only few kernels why don't you try them all and stick with the one you like the most.

If battery life is the most important thing to you, I would recommand you NCX-217, as smooth as stock kernel, after several days usage, I found it stabel too.

Tks for replying man, Really I'd like better results on Benchmarks as well stabiliy, I can sacrifice a little battery..well, it's hard to find a Balance between "forces"... lol
..but your suggestion is take in consideration.
A Little question more... Do I have to reinstall ROM after flashing a new Kernel or I can let it the same way?
Tks guys!!

Hi I'm just wondering which kernel provides the best battery/gaming performance right now. I'm in a dilemma between XM-Kernel and ncx kernel
Can someone provide me with some opinion?

This. There's no such thing as a "best kernel". Find out on your own.

You won't find one the has good gaming performance AND good battery life, decide for one of it or use stock.
Anyway, I'd say the ROM you flash has much more to say about battery life and gaming performance.
I'm running ARHD, everything else stock and I have perfect battery and good gaming performance...
which jelly bean rom gaming better Super Jellybean v5.5 or racing xplay jb? please help

I think that Racing JB has good performance, but plaese don't use JB for gaming xD it's a suicide... there are lot of GB roms very good, JB for now doesn't have a good ram management for gaming... maybe with the kernel 3.4 but the project has been stopped and i don't think we will reach the performance of GB
There is now such thing as which is the best, try some and see which suits you the best.
Thanks
Hello guys I just switched to HTC One X and currently on stock ROM. As for my taste I don't like to stay on that, I found difficult too to choose the best ROM available here, I'm confused actually. I'm new to HTC flashing stuffs and I want to prevent flashing then unhappy with it, because when that happens I have no idea yet to return to stock. So I just want a little tips from you guys based on daily used.
I would like:
-Good Battery Life
-Ultimate Gaming Performance that I can play Asphalt 8 (High) with no lag
Thank you guys and appreciate your suggestions...
I'm noob and this is the best I can do for now, ask

You cannot have both at same time: heavy gaming will drain battery significantly, and good battery comes with sacrifying certain performance.
- If you prefer gaming, try XM kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136731
- Good battery life, try Alex V kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226360
Also, make some tweaks (under/overclock) of cpu/gpu to best suits your needs, but do with caution as wrong settings can damage your phone.

Oh my...thank you so much. But after reading reviews about HOX heating up problems, maybe this time I prefer not to overclock.
Guess I'd go with Alex-V Kernel but what are the ROMs compatible with it? It didn't mention on the thread
