I dont want to make this a big debate i am just curious which ROM currently right now seems to run the smoothest and what kernals people are using for them. I wanted to try anthrax kernal and i enjoy the Darthstalker ROM so far but im curious if there are any advantages to the Goodness ROM? Thanks

i've been running redemption rom with lous kernel for quite sometime but have decided to give another rom a try.........i'm currently running INCrom with stock kernel, anyone else running this? if so what do you think?? i was thinking about changing out kernels for one of lou's b/c his are solid and dependable.
It's all about preference, try out what you want, just be sure to nandroid.
IMO Lou has very solid stable kernels.
I am not going to research this, cause I am sure there are a ton of threads involving ROMs. What I am asking is for a poll. I just installed yesterday Wicked Sensations v1.4 with FF18 modem. I did that modem because prior to flashing to Wicked I had installed the FF18 on a stock Gingerbread 2.3.6. Seemed to work well on my phone. Anyway I am not liking Wicked to much; so I am asking all of you. What ROM are you running? What is the performance like? Is there any ROMs out that that have the overclock kernel built in? What issues are you seeing with the ROM you chose? I know the ultimate decision will be mine as to what ROM to use. Wither it's the stock android, or something else. I am asking this because before I started trying to flash to a different ROM I was only aware of Cyanogenmod 7. I get on here, and start looking around, and BAM! there are a TON of ROMs.
Blazer ROM
I'm currently running Blazer V4.1 as my daily driver. I flashed rogue_et-1.4.1+ kernel w/ OCing. I don't have any issues at all. best one I've ran so far.
I just started running CM9 Alfa5 build with TeamWins twrp- 2.1.8-epictouch-CM9-FF11(safe for flashing) kernel and can't be happier. Everything works as it should, it's really smooth and has a ton of bells and whistles.
If your looking for a GB roms try out GalaxyTask_14_Slim I used that one for a long long time. And if I decide to go back to GB that's the rom I would jump back to.

Seems all of Darkside's roms are "discontinued" and are no longer available. Whats everyone using nowadays? I just need something clean and extremely stable. the stock Tmobile rom is giving problems (for a friend's phone). Recommendations would be nice.
Jedi mind trick or Jedi knight gives a clean, stock feel, with a small twist, it has some S3 theming

I've used for some time. Its quite stable. You can, but ptmr3, and myself, recommend TWRP. No more scripts!

Honestly, Team Kang's Bullet ROM has the outright quality & stability vote, in my experience.
TWRP 2.2.2.0 recovery (flash this in CWM, then reboot recovery from the 'advanced' menu) has been my recovery of choice, stable++. I highly recommend it.

I've had CM10 on my GS3 for while now, ever since December I believe. Even before then, I didn't do much in the way of ROM stuff or even coming here to XDA. I've recently flashed back to Blazer ROM in order to PRL/Profile update and I'm seeing all of this stuff about update MB1.
Could anyone recommend me a ROM similar to Blazer that is based on MB1?
Just go through the development section and find one that catches your eye

Thanks for the reply. I did look through the list of ROMs.
I was digging more for personal opinions, though.

I haven't flashed a TW-based Rom in quite a while. If you really like Blazer Rom and don't really care for the update from LJ7 to MB1, you can just edit the build.prop to disable the OTA notifications. It's easy to do, and CNexus has a good tutorial on his OTA Guide Sticky Thread.
Other than that, after looking through the Developer's Thread, most of the Roms there offer similar experiences to Blazer Rom. A lot of the custom Mods incorporated in Blazer are pretty standard on TW-based Roms nowadays. Blazer might have had a really stable, battery-saving reputation, but with most MB1 Roms you can get really good battery life (even without flashing a custom kernel, although they can help a great deal with battery life).
After all that, I haven't done what you asked, which is point you in the direction of one (or two) Roms you'd like. I honestly am not able to. If you really want some TW MB1 Rom suggestions, I'd start with the following (in no particular order):
The People's Rom
Clean Bean
Goodness Reborn
MOAR Rom
Team Venom Odex Blue Holy Grail
And there are a lot of other great Roms out there. You can see my sig for my curent setup. It's AOSP-based and has been running really solid recently.

I downloaded stock rooted and CleanBean, so I'll probably check out CleanBean. The only reason I want to update to MB1 is the multi-window. Outside of that, something that has good battery life and allows me to switch the CPU governor to conservative.

Just so you're aware, the MA6 and MB1 updates did not include multi-window. All of the Roms with multi-window are based on the international update, which included the Premium Suite.
It does not change your assessment, as LJ7 (and prior) Roms won't have multi-window, but it's just so you're aware that stock MB1 Roms won't have any of the premium suite additions.
If you flash an MB1 rom that doesn't have multiwindow, there's a flashable that adds that feature to any stock-based MB1 rom
Ive been searching XDA for the TW 4.1.2 ktoonsez kernel, but I cant find it. can anyone link to a working download for the T-mobile S3? Thanks
LuigiBull has a massive thread with every version of that kernel. Including the one you are after. But my advice is to avoid the TW version. It's not good, stock is much better.
Thanks. I know I've seen that thread somewhere but I couldn't find it. I'm running goosh Rom and it's great but I wanted to try the ktoonz kernel since I've heard so much about it. Is there another TW kernel for 4.1.2 that would be good, or are all TW kernels not that great?

faux has one. I tried it and wasn't impressed. I keep going back to the stock MD5 kernel. I've heard the AT&T MG2 kernel is good, but I've never used it.
