Hol friends, podran to help I have this problem, have installed the TWRP V2.1.8 And I wanted to install a rom 4.2.1, forget to become I a nandroid and erase the whole system and it did not want to install it rom for that the recovery is very obsolete now not that to do .. my alone telephone starts in TWRP and I do not find a rom that is compatible anybody it can assign a compatible rom to me help me please I am nervous...

You can ODIN a stock ROM back to something that has CWM like GA10 (jellybean). This will get you back where you need to be. Just remember to wipe everything. Remember jellybean modems do not work with JB 4.2...good luck!

put the aokp on my t999 and now i cant seem to change out of it. everytime i try to put a jellybean or ics rom on the installation aborts. what do i need to flash to get the wicked ics rom or factory jellybean. yes i am a noob but am guessing a kernel idk i dont want to break my phone

You need to go into CWM and flash whatever other rom you want thru there

Hi,
I rooted my tab yesterday and downloaded rom manager. I then dowloaded the synergy rom and installed it using the rom manager. After I installed it I tried to reboot my device and its stuck at the reboot screen with the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 logo. I can go back to the rom manager thing where you can reboot your device and install zips from sd card etc.But if I try t reboot it it goes back to the same logo.

Can someone help me out regarding flashing. I have spent my last 1 hour reading the tutorials and modems etc.
I am fairly new here and I wouldn't want to take risk of bricking my device.
Please kindly suggest me the package I need to install.
I am currently on OFFICIAL 4.1.2 (Sprint).

You need any ics modem. I like fl24. And to flash your Rom get the el26 kernel. Get the tar version. Flash that in Odin. It's important to download your Rom before you flash the kernel because you won't be able to boot.

I have tried to install the packages based stock ROM(for example SphinX_V4.1) without flash 187/186KDZ , I installed the SphinX_V4.1 many times when my phone with the 4.0.4 system, the phone couldn't boot up , just boot-loop .
who knows how to install the 4.1(android version) system based on 4.0(android version) system ?

You are on which android version?
It's flash only 4.1.2 via cwm recovery.
The base should be 4.1.2 stock or custom but
make sure you root your phone first.
I had same problem but finally I'm successfully installed this ROM on my grand duos.

Cannot install Status 7 error
I've downloaded the Rom but every time I try to install it the process aborts and the message shows "Status 7 error" and I don't know what to do please help i need to install it badly.

Not 100% sure, but I think the problem could be that the recovery is to old.
Here is a newer version.

Also a good idea is to do a factory reset after flash.
