Number of icons in dock Cyanogen 10.1 - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I upgraded from an early December 10.0 Cyanogen on Verizon GNex to yesterday's latest nightly. The Android updates look great, but one funny difference.. The old build allowed "extra" icons in the Trebuchet dock (I used to have 7 icons there). The current version only allows five or fewer. Anyone know the reason for the change or if the ability to add the extra icons will be back? (or if there is some way to get it back?)

Go with Apex or Nova launcher, they allow up to 7 icons in the dock.

[REQ]LP3 TwLauncher with 5 icon dock

Currently running deodexed LP3 and ICS Domination 4.1 Theme and I really like touchwiz over nova, apex, trebuchet launchers etc etc.
The only thing I'm missing is a 5 icon dock with the app drawer icon in the middle.
I've decompiled the tw apk but I don't understand where to make the changes so I'm begging someone here who know how to make it for me
I'm sure more than me would appreciate it.
the original TW launcher didn't allow you to change dock settings, and also its laggy, bad, no choices for animations transitions etc..
Go with apex launcher, its the best for ICS, and go to its Setting>Dock settings>Number of dock icons then change the value to 5
Tried Apex and the others, don't like them. Touchwiz is the way to go. Definitely not laggy, and I don't need all thoose fancy choices for settings.
Somehow you can "hack" it to allow 5 icons, it's been done before and I have decompiled older versions that are changed to allow 5 icons but they differ in the smali code so I have no clue where to look. And I don't have the time to learn smali either.
Fairly certain the older versions containing 5 dock icons were ported from a variant of the Galaxy S II (may have been the 4G Touch?) so I guess until someone figures out how to port it from GB to ICS, or the 4G Touch gets ICS, you may be out of luck.

The SGS2 TouchWiz has 5 icons; however, the middle one opens the app drawer and is unchangeable.

App Folder Appearance in Android 4.2

Is it possible to rearrange or alter the appearance of an app drawer in 4.2. I am running CM10.1 RC4, but being based on Stock AOSP 4.2.2, I figured it would be one in the same.
What I want is for the icons inside of the bubble to appear in a ring. If this isnt possible I will just deal with them how they are. I can't believe I didn't employ use of these sooner, they're wonderful!

Where new white buttons & new nexus launcher?

Hey,
I updated just now to the latest build of the Nougat - NRD90M. But there is no new white buttons, also the update doesn't include the new nexus launcher.
Why?
Mines the same ?. Don't seem to get an option to set a different lock screen wallpaper either?
because google didnt include.... simple...
"Overview UI is still in development, and subject to change. " statement made before the official release.
i personally hate the solid white nav buttons, and its not that hard to sideload the launcher you are referring to.
I did side loaded the Nexus launcher a few months ago. Seems you can change lock screen wallpapers using Google now launcher then revert back to Nexus launcher and it still works, win , win!

Problem changing icon image

Hi there,
I have been using Nova launcher for years without problems. Yesterday I bought a Galaxy S9 +, and of course I also installed Nova launcher. But I have a problem with changing the icon of the application drawer on the dock. I can change the icon, but if I confirm, the icon does not change. It always remains the stock icon. I can change the other icons in the dock without any problem. Only that of the application drawer can not change. It makes me crazy because I have always been able to change this on my previous smartphones. Can someone help me?
Thanks!

I have been having the same problem on all my devices:
Moto G5s Plus
Samsung S8
Samsung Note 9
Samsung Galaxy Tab A
It looks like the dev will have to give this some love...
Came here to say this as well. Thought it may be because I switched to the Android 10 Beta on my OnePlus 6T.

As far as I know every android comes with a default launcher. In android 10 default launcher will have a dock that will show up in recent screen. Currently 3rd party apps cannot show their dock in recent screen (olny default launcher can). Yours' is a different problem. If you could remove app drawer icon from dock from default launcher it may solve the issue. Try reading this: https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/force-android-10s-gestures-work-with-any-custom-launcher-0238065/ . It will make you understand better.

Question Google Calendar - problem

From Android 12 to Android 13 there is still a problem with Google Calendar.
No matter what day it is, it shows "22" all the time.
How to fix it? With Nova Launcher, the Microsoft calendar shows the correct date.
Does any user have the same problem?
I guess you would like to use a dynamic calendar icon with nova launcher. It's either not supported by the icon pack creator or this feature does not work with the latest android version and nova. Try searching icon packs with dynamic icons support. The stock launcher might be using dynamic icons only with oneplus default icon theme - at least last time I checked.
I have a different issue, where I don't get calendar notifications on a13.f17 no matter howany times I check the settings.

Thanks for the suggestions. There is a problem. If I have a different launcher, then the phone does not support many other functions used. For example, AOD. The fault lies with the OP launcher and no one cares for over 1.5 years.

Calendar notification doesn't work for me either. Similarly, the clock icon has the wrong time. The OP company is going down the drain. This is how you produce 10 phones in a year. Later, older models are treated as a necessary evil. A handful of programmers jump from one phone to another. And at the same time one big chaos.
