Since the pull took forever from Samsung's site, I've pulled MA6 and created a repo for others to clone.
Nothing else has been done to this.
https://github.com/garwynn/L710_MA6_Kernel
Give it 20 mins from time of OP before trying to clone. Data is still verifying.
Hope this will help get activity moving on the new build!
MA6?

No problem but it's been posted like 20 times that it was about international sgs2 ...unless it actually says epic touch don't believe anything you see with sgs2 it's not going to be our phone

When I read it I thought this:
"We will still support cdma nexus phones, but please don't yell at us when it takes much longer than for gsm phones. AND IF YOU YELL, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT IT, OK?! <sob>."
It's got to do with cdma and lte not wanting to release the source code so it can't be built correctly from source and makes it really difficult to support... The ril is hard to work with it will still get ota just a couple weeks later

Well Sprint better not do anything stupid. I like roaming on Verizon in Sprint dead zones

Please delete thread. ONly EL29...
What were you running before the update kicked off?
Fingers crossed.

Unlikely
That would have been announced by sprint, as a maintenance release sooner.
False alarm folks. I realized my phone was replaced and must have had the initial software. My apologies.

I called T-Mobile tonight to change my HTC One S to my wifes account due to picking up this bad boy and an automated voice came on while I waited and said that there was going to be an update for my device next week.
Im hoping we're talking 4.1.1 but I guess its better than guessing IF instead of when, just thought of another thing.... what if its for the One S and not the GS3.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I believe the one s is receiving a update to 4.0.4
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Don't hold your breath, it would take T mobile 2 months after the international S3 gets it...

I have the One S and its at 4.0.4 already, hell it could be for my daughters phone too but I agree with nightfox because T-Mobile is well known for dragging their feet on the updates in the past.

That message is probably 2 weeks old, and talking about the update that we did get last week.

In the for what it's worth category...
I've heard (from another source... not one of the forums) that the "4.1" OTA will be released next Wednesday (11/14) for TMO... I don't know if that's a 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 release... Heck... my source could be wrong....
But I'm going to hope she's right... (she's been fairly right on other things previously)

I guess we need to be watching the tmobile forum too! So far I think they've announced both of the official updates prior to their release.

Apparently sammy is already testing 4.1.2 for release and plans to update to 4.2 in Q1.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I got Frosty JB and it is the closest to the official it can be.
The jb rooms I've used thus far drain my battery faster than I'd like... I'm hoping the final from Sammy will be more like ics's battery drain... or better...

You should try the Sprint port I just released!
Today I've got 16½ hours with 6½ hours of screen on time! Heavy use!
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I should do that...
I'm currently down to 35% after 13 1/2 hours of fairly heavy use...

If only carrier's cared about aosp only... Imagine just having to wait a month or so for a release

By the time they release the update i will already have my Nexus 4, it is ridiculous that we had so many leaks and the official still has not been released. I have been using CM10 nightly builds for awhile now, currently on 11/7. This will do until I get my Nexus 4 and then I am done with carrier branded phones.

That's what I said. Had gnex for about four months before I sold that to come to this. I missed all the features of the Sgs.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I wanted to get the GNex but I could not bring myself to buy a phone with year old technology and decided I would wait for the next Nexus phone. And when the SGS3 became available i just could not resist upgrading, forgetting that updates were ridiculously slow on the Vibrant I had prior to my Sensation 4G. I love the hardware on this phone but if I cannot get timely updates then it is a waste.
