Hi,
I am really really really fedup of this one thing!!
The thing is my phone is not going in sleep mode..Batterystat says the SMSdispatcher is using my battery 100%..I have no idea why.
I tried wiping everything like 10 times and reinstalled ROMs but still same problem!! How is that possible?Battery gets drained like hell..so fast so empty
Any solution for this? I have literally tried everything i could.
Could baseband be the problem? I am on BB83 and KXP..I was on same ROM few weeks ago and everything was fine. And suddenly thought to go for a ROM trying trip and tried many ROMs .
Any help will be appreciated
Thank You..
Lock bootloader and try to repair with sony pc companion
I tried stock based ROM and surprisingly there was no battery drain at all...then i tried CM10 based ROMs and all had battery drain...either one or other thing was draining my battery.

hey guys,
i have looked everywhere, especially here, and couldn't find a solution.
i have recently upgraded to LeeDroid, and since then i am experiencing battery drain issues. here is the list of the things i tried:
re flashed after complete WIPE (with the .zip file)
re flashed after complete WIPE without restoring from backup
calibrated the battery
worked with current widget - keep seeing 40mA and above even during the night ?!?
worked with Spare Parts - keep getting FC when trying to view battery information
i have the matching Radio and RIL!
when i check the battery usage in the settings menu, i see that phone calls are just behund display
try to change the network type from WCDMA prefered to GSM/CDMA (PRL) kept getting 3G but no improvement on battery life
'where is my droid power' shows the phone at the top with 7.19% sometines its HTC Sense with ~5%
please please tell me what i need to do? i find it hard to believe that a custom ROM takes more battery then the stock ROM, i mean - whats the point?!?
highly appreciate it!!
Roy.
Is this battery drain showing even before restoring your apps (or any data)? If so, try a different rom but it's possible the battery is on it's way out.
well, to be honest i haven't tried flashing and installing the apps one one of thats what you mean...
battery out? meaning dying? i bought the damn thing brand new 2 months ago, when i was on stock Froyo - was perfect...
p.s. i havent restored the apps from backup - manually installed one by one...
Install the rom and don't install any apps, and see what your drain is like. If it's fine, install apps one by one and see if any problems arrive.
If straight away the battery is bad try some different roms (with the correct radio - very important) and try a stock (but rooted) rom.
If it was fine on froyo and has only arisen since installing a custom rom the battery itself is probably fine then.
yeah i guess that the only way to be sure... to install one by one...
ok man, thanks a lot!!! i was also wondering if there is an app i havent tried yet that maybe can pinpoint me to the source of the problem...

I have an annoying problem. Im currently runnin Supernova ROM, which has proven to be as unstable as early AMD CPUs and I have been trying to get to the original rom running the RUUxxx.exe. Problem is that the RUU flasher refuses to work because it things the battery level is below 30% (which actually is 90%). I have tried pretty much everything from wiping the battery stats and installing another rom after which I tried to install stock rom. It's a no go.
Anyone got any ideas how to go back to stock? Or do I just need to flash some other 'stock' rom made by a forum member?
P.S. I have tried with another battery as well.
Have you tried a Battery Calibration.
try battery caliberation.
This is my first time posting in this, so please excuse me if I put this topic in the wrong place or anything.
Recently I have installed a Cyanogen rom to my phone, upgrading it to 4.4.4 kitkat. Wel, everything went well. Though, recently it has been getting really hot. I mean, before I installed the rom, I was on 4.2.2 and I never had a problem like this. I mainly use my phone for games and my phone has never gotten hot to where the screen is really hot.
I bought a new battery, didn't work. Calibrated it, didn't work. Tried a fresh install, again did not work.
I tried going back to 4.2.2 but no rom that I find works, only one to work is 4.4.2 and it still over heats.
Any advice?

I had the same problem too; the only solution I found out to solve the problem was switching to lupus kernel ( on stock ics ). Try wiping everything flash the latest official firmware with flash tool and then flash lupus kernel for stock ics and see if your battery return to work properly:good:
flash lupus kernel if you are on the stock kernel
Just flash any kernel difrernt from stock.
LuPuS v16 for example if you on 4.1.B.0.587 based firmware.
it worked..
Thanks everyone.. i reflashed the kernal again and it started working.. normally again.:laugh:
*cheers*
A couple weekes ago i rooted my phone and flashed fulmics 6.9. Then 1 or 2 days later i flashed Lineage OS, but because i didnt have some of the stock apps from LG that i use (QuickMemo+ and LG camera app) i flashed fulmics rom again. I decided to root the phone and flash a custom rom because the phone started to get laggy and the battery life wasn't the best. But then i start experiencing a restart loop on the fulmics rom. I then tried to do a clean install of fulmics rom again, but because of the constant restart loop i only managed to successfully install it again while plugged on the charger. I googled for a solution and found out that it could be a battery issue. I then tried to flash Stock v30B rom but without success (because of the restart loop once again, and also the flash software kept saying that it lost connection with the phone). I then took my brothers battery (He has the same phone, LG G3 D855), and successfully flashed the stock rom (v30B), but when i put my battery again it started to restart again in loop. After some testing i found out that it only happened when the battery was about 20/40% and everytime it restared, the battery percentage wasnt correct (I got drops from ~ 40% to 5%), and if i removed the battery from the phone for a few minutes it would show incorrectly again but with more percentage (like 25% instead of 5%), i even tried to calibrate the battery but with no successfull results. I then bought a new battery (supposedly original) and from my tests the restart loop stopped, but now the battery drains on iddle like it drains while using (It went from 100% to about 70/60% until it "stabilizes"). I researched for a solution and found out that it could be background apps and installed greenify and it seems to have improved a bit but nothing significant, and enabled airplane mode after that and it improved even more, but once again, nothing significant (I still think it drains more than normal while on iddle). When i rooted and flashed the roms i was on stock v30N and never have rooted the phone before that, and tried to follow all steps correctly so i wouldnt damage anything. Currently im on stock v30N again. And i've had experience with root and rom flash before, and never had any problems. My phone is almost 2.5 years and never had any issues with it or the battery, and also im now using the same apps as before.
Is it possible that i damaged the phone somehow during the root and rom flash process? or im just unlucky with the batteries ?
Note: The tests i conducted with greenify and airplane mode only went for a couple hours (still testing right now), maybe it needs more time so i note any difference.
Sorry if i mispelled something wrong (Im Portuguese ).

I have been testing the iddle battery life with greenify for a while now and it improved a bit, not nothing major. Any thoughts what it might be ?
