Help PLEASE! Internal Memory problem - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm having a huge problem. I've (by accident, I assure) clicked Nand Erase all on Odin. I was able to fix my error, however the internal memory shows as 0 available though I can write to it (gave permissions and everything). The phone won't be recognized any longer by my PC either.
What can I do to fix this? I've tried a factory settings, rooted, installed custom ROM, but still nothing, it won't show. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

[Q] Need help with internal memory partition structure on Incredible

I have an Incredible, rooted (and I have issues)... I appear to have repartitioned my internal memory area. Thankfully, the phone is useable, but it's not quite right as some programs don't work properly, the video recorder hangs hard, and I have either corrupt data or areas stomped on by other areas due to incorrect partition information. If certain files get touched, then the phone immediately protects itself by flagging the internal memory as read only. I did find a workaround to the phone automatically going into ReadOnly at boot by simply adding a ".nomedia" file in the root of MP3 (where some corrupt files happen to reside). As long as the system doesn't touch the files, the file system remains R/W.
I stupidly did this to myeself. I did it while using a Partitioning tool (specifically Acronis, making a "secure zone") on my PC while my incredible was charging in the USB port and I accidentally used the wrong drive. It was one of those "oh crap" moments. If I connect the phone to my PC, the internal drive comes up as being unformatted and windows asks if I want to format. Another disk utility (EASEUS) sees the drive, can show how its partitioned, and I can explore within the partitions to see that files exist.
I've been searching for a long while to find someone somewhere who might have info on how to fix the Internal SD partition information, but have yet to find anything. Reflashing the factory ROM, "factory reset", etc. appear to just repopulate the already partitioned areas. The closest thing I have found to my problem is a post called "Challenge to members... Help me fix internal partitions without recovery" on the Incredibleforums elsewhere (can't post external links yet). Unfortunately, trying those solutions doesn't fix the issue. That post deals with /dev/mount/mmcblk0p1 and /dev/mount/mmcblk0p2. My issue appears to be in /dev/mount/mmcblk0p3. Parted doesn't like that one much. I have attached a couple of files that show parted output for all of the drives that get mounted, per /etc/fstab & /etc/recovery.fstab. This was done in ADB while the phone was booted into recovery.
If anyone can point me in the right direction how to properly (and safely) repartition the *internal* areas back to how they should be, I'd really appreciate the help!
Thanks,
Blue
I ran across this:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=15746
.... hope it helps send you in the right direction anyway. Good luck!
Formating instructions i think it would be a better idea to try using the ruu.exe tool to reflash your phone and it should format that partition back and put all the old apps it came with back in proper order. Since the phone is use able right now you could also try a factory reset first if you don't want to try the ruu.exe.
Thanks for the link and tip for RUU.
sfdisk does not appear to be a useable command on my DInc. Is there an Android version/port? Also, that link suggests that the partition should be msdos, but isn't the boot sector type supposed to be ext2/3 or yaffs2 (?) on the DInc?
I have already tried the factory reset as well as reformatting the phone areas using CWM Recovery (3.0.0.8). I also reflashed a factory stock ROM found in the lastest RUU. I also flashed the 2nd to latest ROM from that RUU (2.1). All of these only reformatted and re-installed stock ROM. Unfortunately, doing so only reformats the existing partitions, but does not fix the screwed up partition sizing. As far as I can determine, setting my phone back to S-ON and running the RUU will do nothing different than what I did by placing the stock PB31IMG.zip in the root of my (external) SD card and flashing it from HBOOT.
If the RUU truly repartitions the internal memory, then I'm game to set S-ON and try that. However, all indications are that doing so will be no different than flashing PB31IMG.zip. Is that correct?
Thanks again,
Blue

[Q] Help! Need to access files on Internal Storage on phone

OK today my phone randomly brought up the power menu to restart itself and I haven't been able to get all the way into android since then.
I can boot into recovery and I can see the internal storage of my phone, but I can't figure out how to pull anything from it.
If I let it boot normally and get to a black screen I can ADB into my phone but I can't find internal storage anywhere - if I go to the \SDCard folder it is empty, but if I look at internal storage in recovery I see all of my folders just fine.
I've tried re-flashing the ROM I was using (Blend 2.6.2) but that didn't work at all.
I have pictures on my internal memory that I need to access - can anyone recommend a way that I can get them before I try to actually fix my phone?
Thanks in advance for your assistance, and my apologies if there was an easy way to do this that I missed - I tried searching... promise!
have you tried a full wipe and then re flash of the rom you were on?
how do I wipe without erasing the internal storage?
I wiped the cache and dalvik cache and reflashed the rom.
Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL_for_E4GT.zip -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=928432&d=1330705940
i've always clear cache/davlik, factory rest & flash calkulin's zip whenever i do a flash, never erased my internal or external sd card
Thanks so much - that finally worked and my pictures are still there! Now to set everything back up because somehow between trying to do a backup of my phone several times I managed to screw up my SD card that had all my backups on it.
Can't thank you enough!
Guess I have a reason to try out ICS now
no problem man glad you got everything working

[Q] Need Help to Unbrick Phone

Hey all,
Recently I tried to format my sd card from my phone to create extra space, as it was getting clogged up. I pressed unmount, expecting to mount it again as the format option was greyed out. However, I was unable to get it mounted again (ie my phone no longer recognises a sd card is inserted).
I tried to perform a factory rest to get my phone back to the settings it should have once had. However it didn't manage to do this properly and now its stuck at the htc logo screen. Formating or partitioning the sd card didnt do a thing.
I can get into the bootloader, and it was rooted beforehand. I was running the official Miui ROM. Now I am unable to start my phone normally, nor get into access my sd card.
Unfortunetly, I have had my phone for quiet a long time now so I doubt the warranty is still valid. I need help urgently.
Thanks in advance.
Try clearing cache and data and then install a new rom for example Jellytime r26.2.
if it dont work the first time try one more time. I had the same issue ones and had to install the rom twice before it worked.

Are you S-OFF? Can you get into recovery? through the bootloader? If so, just flash a new ROM through recovery.
How did you try to do a factory reset? If you can get into the bootloader, go to recovery if you have it. Then see if the sdcard is being recognized or not. If it is getting recognized, put the zip of any ROM on it and flash it after wiping like the guy above me said.
Post what your bootloader screen says here. Your phone is far from being bricked as far as I know.
RESOLVED
I've managed to resolve this issue. For the benefit of others I will explain what I did.
1)I went into fastboot mode and connected my phone to my pc (running windows 7). Using cmd I reflashed the recovery image.
2)Went into recovery and installed a custom ROM.
I hope this helps you as it really saved my life.
P.S Cheers for all the help guys, you've been amazing!

I formated and wiped all the data i could from the phone itself and the from recovery. Lucky you were right about me being far away from bricking it completely.
Since I firstly unmounted my sd card from my phone settings, it didnt get recognised at all. I couldnt mount it again. So i formatted it with windows, then in recovery made a backup image despite the phone being stuck in bootloop. That allowed me to finally access my sd card for some reason.
Then as you all suggested, i just needed to reflash everything, including recovery using fastboot.
Bit of a strange scenario really
Lesson learned ? :
1.) If youre going to start from scratch then start in Recovery;
2.) wipe all partitions (twice)
3.) enable USB drive and transfer new ROM to SD Root
4.) flash new ROM

Internal Storage Not Mounting with CM 10.1

Hello all. I did make a post in the 4.2.2 thread regarding issue with CM 10.1 but still wasn't able to find a solution to this issue. My problem is after flashing from 10.0 > 10.1 (stable) it seems that the device is unable to automatically mount the internal storage and crashes. It does open after initial flashing but after rebooting the phone, internal storage goes away. After flashing again and again, the issue still occurs. I have tried reformatting the internal storage but that also seems to not work. If anyone can please help it'd be much appreciated. Thank you

When you say you're reformatting the internal storage, are you talking about just the "/sdcard" bit (from inside Settings while the phone's running) or full wipe (from CWM or whatever recovery you use)?
There was a known bug a few months back which caused an issue mounting the internal storage (i.e. the "/sdcard" bit) which did get fixed, but some people were saying they still had continued problems from a mount command left behind in "/data/local/userinit.sh". I saw some comments saying deleting this fixed the problem. If you're doing a full wipe (from recovery) before flashing CM, it would get rid of that file anyways.

I formatted the internal storage via recovery by mounting the usb storage and formatting from there. I did try to delete the command and doing a full wipe but both did not help. Full wipe allowed the internal storage to be mounted on initial flash but after rebooting, the internal storage disappears.
Edited:
After spending the morning figuring out what went wrong I may have got it to work. For starters, I rebooted and waited 2 minutes before using my phone and found that it worked around 50% of the time for the i.s. to mount. When it failed I put in commands seen from another thread and that also worked roughly 60-75% of the time. I also deleted the actual userinit.sh and it helped along with the previous two actions. It's a hit or miss so far but as of right now, I am able to go into the internal storage.
I can't even get to my internal storage via CWM. Won't mount it, won't format... nothing. Help?
edit - figured it out.

[Q] Data recovery help

Phone Gt-N7105t Note 2
Issue turned on and gave error with data and to click to reboot to recovery and wipe data.
Tried this had twrp installed. Didn't work so I flashed it again and it booted. My issue is I now have lost all internal sd contents and /data partition (SMS etc).
Tried
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...de-internal-memory-data-recovery-yes-t1994705
The result was only what you would expect from a fresh flash.
I am wondering if anyone knows a way of recovering data after flash (like hdd) which could work.
I really want to get as much back if possible.
Also does anyone know how much google/Samsung backups get?
Thanks in advance.
