It's not actually playing flash, but html5 instead (where it's supported). YouTube is a great example, but many flash-only sites are broken in chrome .

so give Google time to make Chrome a perfect browser, since Adobe will never ever support android phone (I think so), ya html5 kind of cool
In a nutshell, flashplayer mobile cannot or is yet not supported by chrome android. To view pure flash content you must use the android stock browser

pretty sure Google will never bring Flash to Chrome mobile since they are pushing for HTML5 and Adobe announced its going to stop supporting Flash for mobile.
Try firefox. Pretty good mobile browser as well and it can run flash.

Hi everyone. I bought google nexus 7 today and manually installed flash. I know that google chrome on android 4.1 do not support flash, so i installed dolphin browser. So here is a problem, when i view flash content and tap on a screen, for example, a checkbox on a flash website it checks and unchecks. That means that browser does a double click. I tried to install any other browser. Opera doesnt show flash content, mozilla does but VERY low quality. I tried a lot of non popular browsers. Only one works fine, mozilla firefox beta. I tried to install any versions of adobe flash player. Nothing changes. So here is the question, am i the only one with double clicking flash content? How to disable double tapping? Thanks.
It's in dolphin setting. Click on setting then Web content. Then flash player always on. So you don't have to click every time it wants to load flash.
Or download the stock browser.
Happy hacking

The problem is that browser makes a double click, when i make a single click.
Good luck I've been looking for flash that worked worth the hell since I bought my nexus, had I known it was anti flash like crapple products I would not have got it.

Can't blame Google for Adobe abandoning it's users.
As for flash, doesn't Dolphin browser disable flash by default on JB devices and make it impossible to turn back on? If so you may need to download the old stock browser on the market.
I've found that doing more of a long press eliminates the double press problem.

try the stock android browser (quick ics browser in playstore). i have cm10/paranoidrom and flash works like a charm in stock browser.
same here, i pulled apk from my gnex n put it in /system/app of n7, set permisiions, n boom!!! works pretty good.
I use "Dolphin Browser Beta" and it works like a charm. The videos are all pixelated like in Firefox.
Since jb has no flash but i know flash can be installed but i have some questions. I use opera Mini on my tablet but i personally liked the android browser on my mobile as whenever i am planing on doing anything on the web rather than basic stuff (news etc) on my mobile. in fact when I'm at home i just use my PC as i am sure many of you all do the same. (right now my warrantied PC is in for work i got a better deal buying from a retailer but i should have built myself another story...)
This all came about from a meme i was on reddit and for the first time ever i clicked a link and the browser told me i could not view the quick meme page due to the fact that html5 is not supported so no i didn't even see the meme.
So the meat of the issue since the default browser does not have the ability to use html5 will it use flash if installed?
Is their a browser that supports html5 for android?
Is their any info on when or if the default browser will support java?
I have heard many times that chrome will become the default browser (i thought it would be in JB but it doesn't look like it) can chrome use java? i have not tested any mobile browser for features and have not found a chart online just reviews (you should use Firefox for your browser kinda stuff) Just cause i said that
i bet Firefox will be one of the good ones LOL
Personally i like the chrome and the android default browser with tabs idk but it works well on my phone.
Also does

How to Get Adobe Flash on Samsung Galaxy S4 Working.
There are only a few Web Browser that are able to use the flash player, Stock and Chrome DO NOT WORK. there is a list of compatible browsers down below.
First what you wanna do is open the Adobe Archive link I provided and scroll down to where it says Android 4.0.
Adobe Archive Site: http://bit.ly/AdobeArchives
Now pick the first on and it should stat downloading a APK file.
Install and you should now have flash on you phone, but like i said the Stock and Chrome browser are not compatible use on of the following listed.
List of Compatible Web Browsers:
-Boat Browser
-SkyFire
-FireFox
-FireFox BETA
If you have another compatible browser, Please feel free to leave a comment so I can add it to the list. Thanks

Well, with my modded browser, Dolphin creators were able to see that flash works just fine on the android 4.1 plus platform. So now they updated their browser to v10 and version 10 and higher now support flash without the need to mod it.

If using a Samsung Touchwiz Jellybean 4.2.2 based rom why not use Firefox as
a browser, it plays all the adobe flash videos just fine.
I have installed the adobe flash player for android in my phone but I noticed that
even without it, the firefox browser plays any of the flash videos I tested so far.

What build number of flash do you have?
The most current version - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81) is here.
Here is a link to the Adobe Flash Player Archive.
Are you using a web site to access Comcast or the APP?

what are you talking about??? adobe, the creators of flash, don't support flash on android any more. this tablet could cost $1000 and it wouldn't change adobe's stance on flash for android. samsung has nothing to do with this.

I had the apk from my tf300t and figured I'd give it a shot. Installed and working perfectly using Boat Browser. Haven't tried other browsers as yet.
Here is the url for the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190351
I just wanted to share it because the only other available guides for installing Flash for our devices that I've seen seem to involve a lot of unnecessary steps/videos/ad-based links, popups and even dead ends.
This is just a simple straightforward apk download and install.
Hope this helps.
I just downloaded the latest apk from their archives, and installed it as a normal app. Works perfect. You can keep current with this site. Just check once in a while to see if there was an update:
Just scroll down to "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives"

Chrome uses HTML5, and native codes to play videos. I've been able to play all videos in Chrome that only used to play in other browsers that needed Flash Player. It's a toss up now for me. If you like Chrome then use it. If you find a site that won't play videos then at least you can fall back to another browser that can use Flash Player like Firefox.

Yes. Just note if you're on anything before 4.1 you can just install from the Play Store. 4.0 is the last official version supported, but it still works even on 4.4.
