I had the apk from my tf300t and figured I'd give it a shot. Installed and working perfectly using Boat Browser. Haven't tried other browsers as yet.

I just wanted to share it because the only other available guides for installing Flash for our devices that I've seen seem to involve a lot of unnecessary steps/videos/ad-based links, popups and even dead ends.
This is just a simple straightforward apk download and install.
Hope this helps.
I just downloaded the latest apk from their archives, and installed it as a normal app. Works perfect. You can keep current with this site. Just check once in a while to see if there was an update:
Just scroll down to "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives"

Now that you pointed me there, I'm seeing my post was less than helpful. I really mostly misunderstood the guides that I followed. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

Chrome uses HTML5, and native codes to play videos. I've been able to play all videos in Chrome that only used to play in other browsers that needed Flash Player. It's a toss up now for me. If you like Chrome then use it. If you find a site that won't play videos then at least you can fall back to another browser that can use Flash Player like Firefox.

Yes. Just note if you're on anything before 4.1 you can just install from the Play Store. 4.0 is the last official version supported, but it still works even on 4.4.

Thanks OP, very kind of you!
*Edit - Although Flash seems to work fine, when trying to go full screen it crashes out immediately. Currently Firefox does not have this problem.
This is great. I miss the pinch to zoom and the more functional address bar though. Not a poblem.

As of right now, no. I guess that's the price to pay to have Flash working on it though.
Maybe if everyone keeps giving it 1 star for disabling Flash, Dolphin will get the message and add it back.

Did this yesterday and it's been smoooooth sailing so far. I'm new to Android and this made things a ton easier. :good:
I wonder if there is a way to change the apk or program to make it think your are running ICS so it still enables flash, besides editing the build.prop. From the Google Play update log it sounds like its merely disabling flash on JB while still allowing it to work on ICS/GB, so the flash supporting part of Dolphin is still there, its just being disabled.
I've been using XScope Browser.
Seems like Flash support is a little bit better on that one, but I haven't tested it extensively. Amazon Instant Video can be played full-screen, which is nice. I tried that with Dolphin, but it kept crashing.

just search for the flash apk and and install it, flash will work you just have to sideload it
Since i cant post links yet, go to google and put in "adobe flashplayer archives". click on first link.
Scroll down to where it says "Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives" and download the latest build. Even though its for ICS, it works perfect for JB. So yes you can still have flash on JB
you can still sideload flash.
i've also been using mozilla aurora with phony add on and selecting ipad for UA. it sucks that using iPad as your user agent is better than using default tablet. aurora support html5 streaming media, unlike FF.
btw i don't have the sgn2 (yet) but have used JB on sg2.
