May seem a bit odd,I haven't had the need to temporarily forward my Sprint cell to my office in quite awhile but can we or have we lost the ability to forward our cell phone to another number within the ROM? I'm not talking about go ogle voice numbers or integration either ty.
In the phone app then settings, does the call forwarding option not give the result needed?

It's possible you have to long press the number in the call log, click edit before dialing, long press the number again which will be at the top of the dialer now waiting on you to edit and you will get the option to copy, paste, etc.

for AOSP, tap the entry in your call log, long press the number, copy is at the top right

Not feelin the love here...
Was wondering if anyone running the blu kuban rom has been able to get the Sprint visual voicemail to work? I have the app downloaded but it does absolutely nothing. Is there a way to make it work, or a better option for voicemail besides dialing from the phone?

I believe there's an app called youmail that many use as a substitute for sprint vvm
MiUiv4.1, I haz it
Mine works on every rom, what rom are you on? If a cm based rom you need to provision it by recording a message in settings and sending it to this address: [email protected]

I get this annoying popup each and every time I reboot.
I am running Rushing's Galaxy ROM 4.99.

If its only when you reboot....I'd live with it. Or disable wifi calling if you don't use it and see if that stops it. I'm unfamiliar with wifi calling....disable it in settings maybe? Or freeze it with titanium backup? If you go thru the learn more will it stop??

Hey,
I thought that the basic feature of storing call duration (and making it available) was lost with CM7 and on CM7 based ROMs like MildWild, but hopefully I was wrong. Unfortunately, I doesn't seem like I can access this information. According to a few posts you can see the call duration when you tap on a particular call in the call log. This is what I see when I tap on a call:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It's supposed to show the call duration "on top" but I don't see it anywhere. I must be blind.
Can anyone tell me if you see the call duration?
That's a known issue and I think it was already reported in the thread.
Try a different dialer like dialerex from play store.

I see. Thanks for the reply. I tried exDialer and it seems pretty cool - just as fast and smooth.
The new Moto X is said to have contextually aware abilities so you can say 'okay google' anytime and it will listen to what you say. It would be similar to Google Glass.
I was wondering if it would be possible to get something like this for the S3?
Isn't that Google now? Which our devices already have? That's the command phrase.

Yes, but with this you don't have to even touch the phone to activate Google now.

We have this, as long as you're inside Google search

. Take note of the only option with the check... Don't know if anybody would want the battery drain associated with your phone constantly listening every time your screen is on so honestly I don't see anybody putting any effort into this...
Hm I wonder if having it always listening is going to drain the battery on the Moto X.
It depends how they implement it...if it's like wifi connections with the constant polling, then yes.
