anyone xda devs can make one? i know AI type plus has a similar 5 row keyboard option but it has too many other keys on it, and it doesn't allow custom key shortcuts
here's ai. Type plus keyboard
Try Kii
You can add it to the stock android if you go to advance settings and custom style
Add English and desktop style
Never mind, it will look like this but you don't want extra keys

Hi, The HTC Sense Quick Settings is really bad and confusing the icons are small and even worse there is %30 waste of each of the icons for 3 dot option,
unlike Stock Android with big and clear button and Samsung's TW, in TW you press & hold and icon and it takes you to option but is Sense there is a menu button under each button which will make buttons smaller.
my Request is can someone edit the Sense QuickSettings and make it like Stock Android and maybe add some buttons (like: GPS ON\OFF)

i am ready to make the PNGs for the Mod in PhotoShop but i dont know the modding so if someone wants to do it please reply and i will immediatly start to make the PNG before you even finish the coding.
PS: please dont tell me to use the "Search" because i did and searched HTC One Mods, ROMs,,,etc for stuff i want and there is NO such MOD.
and i know there is an app in Play Store (AntTek Quick Settings) but its made for <4.2, i dont want APK because MOD is better and more stable than APK.
Best Regards
Muhammad

Hello I'm running cm10.2 on my NN7, I dont fancy PA ROM all that much, but what I do LOVE is that when you switch to Phone UI, you get the fullscreen Notification Bar like a Nexus 4,instead of one on the right for settings and one on the left for notifications, I'd love to see if anyone can port that into a zip file
Thanks in advance!
This is what we have:

Click to expand...

I think it requires a dpi change of which I think is only possible in PA at the moment, at least that I know of. It's a very good rom, so I'd try it out and set your dpi to your preference.
I hope one of you can assist me with this:
I don't like how much space the keyboard takes up, but I really like the samsung keyboard.
Exhibit A:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you change the keyboard type to one handed operation, it makes the keyboard smaller and shifts it to the side but it still takes up the same amount of screen real estate.
Exhibit B:
Lastly you can switch to the floating keyboard which is the perfect size but it sits on top of whatever window you are using obscuring information. As such it does more harm than good.
Exhibit C:
(You can select the floating keyboard by long holding on the settings button on the keyboard and then clicking the icon all the way to the right)
What i propose is a version of the stock keyboard that has the same Height as the floating keyboard but docked to the bottom of the screen so that apps reposition correctly. Is there any way to accomplish this? Also is there any way to reduce the size of those huge headers in the conversations? Perhaps even a shorter text field in the messaging app would help as well.

Hi guys,
this is my first thread here @xda, I hope I don't break any rules by posting it here.
After the 4.4.2 (God bless it :/) I noticed that they upgrade "Samsung default Keyboard" which I use to write,
My problem is, they changed the "Arabic" layout.
They replaced characters, added/moved/deleted another, they (hide) the little transparent extra characters that we call by long-press and it is no longer QWERTY layout keyboard that I use to type on for almost a year since I bought my Note 2
Because the Arabic still not that wide used language, I have problem fixing that by myself, so I am here to ask you to try with me.
Well, It is so difficult for you to notice but here is the old vs the new layout

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you see, the old one is very close to the actual (mechanical) keyboard, but the new one is something like a box, WT-heck is that?
After few hours of googling, I read this: [MOD] Auto Correct and Uses System Font for Samsung Keyboard @xda-dev but I am not sure that this will bring back the default "Arabic" QWERTY layout keyboard
Any help?
Any help will be appreciated guys .
Hi Everyone,
I am new here in the forums. I recently got my Note 10+ unlocked version which I presume is the Hong Kong variant.
I have noticed two things that seem to bother me.
First, the 4G icon (or sim status icon) is present in the status bar even my mobile data is off. If there any way to remove this?
Second, the keyboard layout is a bit different from what I am usually accustomed. Can I install or change the keyboard layout to the US version?
Thank you.
The 4G icon can be hidden using Good Lock. I believe you can change the keyboard to US layout using settings > language and input > On Screen Keyboard > Samsung Keyboard > Language and type. If not, you could download Gboard.
Thanks for the feedback.
I was hoping to still use the samsung keyboard as I like its key layout better. See attached file for reference. I also dont like that there is a number key when there is already a number row on top.
