Hey,
What app do you use to block internet APN but keep sending MMS?
I use cm 10.1 from olddroid.
I tried APN Droid but it doesn't work on Android 4.1.

tried sending an mms message on gingervillain 0.9 yesterday and it just said sending for 6 hours
do mms messages not work on this rom?
is there a way to make them work?
Search the forums, A lot of threads like this.
i did search
no threads relate to this issue on this rom
I have similar issue with all gingerbread builds. I fixed it by deleting the default APNs that were listed and entering the mms apn manually. I then had to reboot and cycle the data radio. If I enter the apn for data, mms will stop working.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Is anyone was able to run ICS on Boost Mobile with working MMS and SMS messages?
The issue is MMS is not sending because of wrong APN and if SMS longer that 160 characters it is also not sending.
I've tried many different roms, tried use APN backup and restore program (as a system app in ics with titanium backup conversion), tried using voice dialer with "open A P N" phrase and setting up right apn for boost mobile but still have no luck!
The only way i can use mms and sms on ics - is using Go SMS Pro, which i personally don't like at all! So this is not a way out for me, so please don't suggest me use Go SMS Pro instead of original app.
Right now I'm running on Fresh (it's sense) Rom and installed espt app to change mms setting and everything works great, but i want to use ics since there is a nice stable MIUI ics rom available.
Is anyone know how to fix apn and get working mms - let me know. Thanks in advance
I have never been able to get the default messenger to work 100%.
I use GoSMS with custom APN settings.

Sorry, its the only way that works for me. I don't really like GoSMS either.
What is we gonna create flashing zip file with correct APN and will flash it from the recovery? Did anyone know where does ICS keep original apn file, which system use for mms settings?
Altering APNs besides VIA GoSMS has never worked for me with AOSP or ICS
I've even used other Boost users APNs that worked for them, that never worked for me VIA APN backup and restore
idk, I use Sense and the default messenger, it works.
Is anyone else got their recommendation?
I still got a hope that there is a way to fix that problem.

Hello, I was wandering if anyone got MMS with 2 APNs (one for internet, the other for MMS) working properly on ICS roms (based on CM9).
The only workaround I found so far is to make the MMS APN a radio button and change between APNs with HiAPN widget.
Is there any other way?

I have a R800x and I am currently running Super Jelly Bean 7.0 with Lupus JB v8. My cell carrier is Page Plus. I am having problems sending MMS messages. Everything else sees to be working perfectly. Text message are working and I can surf the web on 3G. I was figuring that it was an APN setting, but I can't find anyway to change the APN settings on Jelly Bean. I wondering if anyone had any insight into this problem.
Just use your voice dialer and say "open apns" then if your apn options aren't there, you can add new apns hitting menu new apns. Fill in the appropriate info then save.
Also if you don't know your apns Google will be your friend.
So I'm running CM11 on Madmacks latest build and everything is working perfectly except MMS and Textra. I use Hangouts and it works Ok, but I hate the notification and sometimes I miss texts because it won't work with LightFlow... at least not for me.
Textra allows me to setup repeating vibrations and it works just fine for texts, but will not work for MMS. I've tried to configure the APN for MMS using every setting I could find on google to no avail. Just keeps saying it won't work.
it won't even work with the stock messaging app that's why I suspect APN is the problem, not the app. I'm using the default phone APN and LTE.
Any ideas for getting Textra to work or even the stock messaging app?
