You have a Telus P935 phone with the AT&T P930 leaked ICS v18f ROM installed on it. All the P93x devices are identical, so there's nothing wrong with having that installed on that device.
If you want to install custom ROMs, you will need to follow the unbricking guide to downgrade to Gingerbread. From there you can install CWM and then flash to any P93x ROM you want.
If you only want root and you are happy with LG's ICS ROM, then I'd actually recommend that you update your phone to the newest Telus ICS ROM which is improved over the one you have installed. You can root it easily as well, however you can't install CWM from any of the ICS ROMs.

Can you clarify if you care about custom ROMs or not? Or are you happy with rooted ICS from LG?
Could you give me a link to the oficial 4.0.4 update because the gyde you sent me has the firmware that i already have installed in it

Install USB driver then software update from that page.
After you have the new update, do a factory reset (hold volume down + power button after turning phone off).
Then to root, do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835946

There you have the oficial CyanogenMod 7 rom support, instalation and development issues support.
In my opinion it is the best 2.3 alternative rom for p350.
The steps i know only in portuguese, but i believe i will find it in this link too.
The factory installed apps, the most one you will install with a Google package inside this link too.
The others you can download again on play store.
following a different guide i was trying to install CM Invasion V2 ROM.. i never got to the flashing ROM part... i was backing up the current ROM unsing ROM manager and my cell fone bricked... after banging my head... looking for solutions on the net and again banging my head... i finally was able to revive my cell fone (using kdz updater)... all this is a risky business
can anyone give me a near perfect guide for flashing ROM without using ROM manager.. please..
You'll have to flash a custom recovery first. Amonra is very stable. Then you can make a nandroid backup of your current rom from the recovery for you to go back to. Flash the rom you like and enjoy. If you need to do back to your original rom, just restore back from your nandroid backup

now flash recovery by going on thread then do steps
for flashing roms do following steps on recovery
1.creat nandroid backup only once not for everytime you flash
2.then go in wipe section and wipe all data
3.then go to flash zip manu and find rom then flash
4.sometimes some rom needs advanced steps for flashing like cm 7 official needs to format/system(steps for it it mentioned by the developer on his thread)
done reboot then enjoy flashing.
hope this will help you...........................
in future do not install recovery from rom manager it will brick your phone untill it gets perfect for our device
Remember we have a wiki page for this phone with an all-in-one guide for modifying it (rooting, recovery, custom rom installation, troubleshooting). I try to keep it updated, nice and clean (kinda hard some times).
About Android versions: The Optimus ME comes with Froyo (2.2) there is no other official firmware for it. CyanogenMod 7 is based on Gingerbread (2.3) which now has official support and is working pretty good now (yes, previous versions were slow, buggy but now they're pretty stable)... Honeycomb (3.0) is only for tablets, so it's not coming to P350. CyanogenMod 9 is based on Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), which for this device is still a work in progress, so don't expect a timeline nor a soon release. CyanogenMod 10 based on Jelly Bean (4.1) is still a myth for the P350...
I hope to have answered your questions...

Hi Guys,
I am running the .62 official rom and looking for a bloat/crap free ROM to use with my Arc-S. It is a bootloader locked and cannot be unlocked so I need a working rom.
ICS is too slow for me. I can install CWM with x-parts so that works, I have installed some custom ICS roms from CWM backup zips and it works but I can't find any for the GB.
I am hoping for a very rustic base rom with no crap installed. I found a few like X-Gamer but they require the .42 official rom first and I cannot find any working link for it.
Hoping someone can help, I have done quite a bit of searching and really looking to put an end to this journey!

Hmm... It is not possible to run jellybean/kitkat without unlocked bootloader, so you have no choice but to use ics ICS has awesome batery life BTW.
Have you tried Xperia ultimate hd by jader? Its not bad. It has aroma installer, so u can unselect those crappy apps.
Press thanks if i help^^
Glad to help:highfive:

1. You're not allowed to create threads that ask for fastest ROM, or "speedy ROM" as you put it. Please change thread title or a mod will close your thread.
2. Since you're on locked bootloader, you have no choice but to stick with stock based custom ROM. UHD is one good example. However, if it doesn't suit you, you will have to find out for yourself. None of the users or the developers can help you here since you're the one using the phone.
Please read this thread for more information:

ICS consumes more battery as a base ROM as compared to GB since it uses more resources and has more functions. Please do not give wrong information. The few ways to help ICS save battery are ROM tweaks, kernel tweaks and basic knowledge about maintaining your ROM to make it less power hungry.
If he prefers performance over functionality, GB will be a better choice for him.

Each ROM has it's pros and cons so you can't say for sure which ROM works best. Of course if you feel that it works fine, I have nothing to say since it's your phone.

Doesn't mean he cannot flash custom ROM. As long as the custom ROM is stock based and uses stock kernel he can flash it with no problems. He can easily use X-Parts to install recovery, flash any stock based custom ROM and use it. Locked bootloader does not allow unsigned kernel(a.k.a any custom kernel) to be flashed on the phone since only Sony can sign the kernels.

Hi Everyone,
I do know how to flash a new rom however I had issues flashing from stock 4.1.2 to custom 4.2.2 before (device wouldn't pass the boot screen). So do I have to be on a specific 4.1.2 rom to upgrade or I need to upgrade to a stock 4.2.2 first and then upgrade to a custom one?
Please recommend a fast 4.2.2 custom rom. I would like to keep dual sim feature if possible although I know most roms only support single sim.
My current rom info:
4.1.2
Baseband: I9082XXAMC4
Thanks in advance.

simple one line if want dual sim,(stock based roms only)..u can install stock rom 4.2.2....or balliboxers GENNXT rom based on latest firmware...
NOTE: RAM USAGE OF STOCK AND STOCK BASED ROMS IS HIGH....SO LESSER MULTITASKS HANDLES!
if u can compromise with dual sim ..then u can install slimbean roms...(as u mentioned u want lightest and fastest)... but as they are small and fast, they dont have many extra feature lik halo..bt are lightweight..less ram usage...
bt i wonder why u want 4.2.2 rom when u can installl latest kitkat 4.4.2 (cm11,slimkat rom, carbon rom)..
they all are kitkat roms..........
with cm being a base rom for every rom and a light good rom...so is slimkat...and carbon with good future updates including halo features....
if u still wanna stick to 4.2.2 ....then u got slimbean rom...cm rom....(both dont have halo feature),.bt light...or u cn have PAC,resurrection remix rom(for halo multitasking)...
(gaming is better on kitkat roms)
its all ur choice....
if u want any qsns u can ..

First of all, thanks for your awesome reply
Basically I'm on stock rom without useless Samsung apps. Instructions for Pac/resurrection says I need to be on stock rom in order to upgrade to 4.2.2. So am I ok to flash their rom or first install a stock rom?
You mentioned kitkat roms are better and I agree, however based on instructions I need to be on 4.2.2 first before upgrading
Which recovery is the best for making nandroid backups? clockworkmod seems to have issues occasionally creating bad backups.
Kitkat roms seems to have app2sd enabled by default, right? and no issues with Xposed framework modules?

xposed is working fine on dalvik runtime(as google introduced new runtime with 4.4 named ART ,WHICH CONSUMES LESS RAM, BUT IS UNSTABLE)...
when they say that u need to be on stock ROM 4.1.2 , they actually mean the 4.1.2 bootloader..so its okat if u are on GENNXT ROM...stock..abit modified stock 4.1.2...(they specifically mean that if u want 4.2.2 rom, be on 4.1.2 bootloader...and if u want kitkat rom..then be on 4.2.2 rom(any stock based 4.2.2 rom like gennxt or slight modifyd 4.2.2 will do , as all they need is 4.2.2 bootloader for kk roms to work)...if u want kitkat rom.....be on stock based rom..which are touchwiz based roms of 4.2.2)....
so flash 4.2.2 rom by odin..and den install kitkat...if u face any problem ....just pm me ...and ya..
always do wipe cache, dalvikcache and data(if told) , whenever u flash anything(before and after flashing)... u can ask any qsna u wanna ask..hope i helped.

one question from my side as well.
I am on stock rooted 4.1.2 rom and I want to upgrade to stock 4.2.2 rom. what would be the best method?
can I install 4.2.2 latest version by flashing via odin directly or do I need to unroot first?
or it will be automatically unrooted when I install 4.2.2(stock) latest over my 4.1.2(stock) by odin?
I hope you got my question.

I finally got the chance to upgrade to stock 4.2.2 via odin and gaining root again. However I was unable to install kitkat. Even though I wiped cache and did factory reset, boot didn't pass the samsung logo. I still have 2 sim support, is it worthed to install kitkat? According to your previous instructions, I needed to be on 4.2.2 base in order to upgrade to kitkat. What would you suggest in my case
Thanks

I nor did use much of live wallpapers as they were battery consuming..the lock screen was fancy but still lets face truth that its just meant for security/unlocking screen ...u will have to compromise with single sim and non fancy apps ..
But it does worth a try..i mean why not ... Give it a shot and i am sure u will find something unique about it...
It got its own features..so ya...its ur wish..there are also downsides of it .....u can check respective threads and know more..
Hope i helped

Ok bro, I installed selinux cmw recovery... downloaded CM11... I noticed CM is about 200mb comparing to 1 GB stock 4.2.2. Does that mean I will get more free space on internal sdcard? (out of 4GB I mean)...as others suggested, I need to do full wipe/reset factory and manually format system? and if update wasnt successful I can go back to stock via Odin right?

Hi,
I`m planing to downgrade to an official Sony Stock ICS ROM (& and strip the bloatware) to get all the features working (HDMI). I was planing to pair the stock sony ICS with a kernel like Lupus. Before doing this however I wanted to ask if anyone has a recomendation on which Stock ICS version to get because I remember reading that one of those was a major flaw.
Additionally I'd like to know if anyone has/did run stock ICS+custom kernel and could share his experience with speed/smoothness and such, because I remember running the LT18i_4.1.B.0.587 firmware before rooting my device some years ago and the whole system was so laggy ... which lead me to try custom ROMs first and evetually unlock the bootloeader and go for custom Kernels later.
Any other recomendations are welcome.

I believe the newest is the best you can get, which is 4.1.B.0.587. You can also try 4.1.B.1.13, but it is a branded firmware and may have some additional bloatware installed in it.
Thanks. I remember 4.1.B.0.587 was really laggy when running on stock "everything". I'll try it and see if I can get it running smoothly with a custom kernel...

Even with a custom kernel, stock 4.1.B.0.587 will still lag a lot because of all the bloatware Sony added inside.

And extremely awful optimization.
You guys are really making me think twice about this.

That's just life. Sony gave us really crappy ICS firmware.
