[Q] Killed battery killed my Kindle.

My rooted kindle comes up for 2 seconds and is saying "CHARGING DEAD BATTERY.. PLEASE WAIT" even if it's unplugged. (It's been plugged in for 4 hours now) I have tried plugging it in and via USB, nothing. I would hold the power button for 30 seconds and nothing. Even if I need a new version of FFF I can't do anything about it now because not even my computer is recognizing this thing. I would do ANYTHING before taking the back off so please help!!

are you sure your using a 1.8 amp charger and does it work? the battery will be fine. its either the charger/cable or the usb port. if its the usb port then your screwed as this is part of the motherboard. swap charger and cable 1st but must be a high amp one 1.5 and up. hope this helps.

[Q] My N7 2013 stopped charging when turned on

Incredibly annoying. I got my device on launch day and have not had a problem. Never dropped it or damaged it or anything. Was running cleanrom 1.7 and all of a sudden the device stopped being able to charge while it was turned on. It charges fine when powered off.
I was using a 1amp power unit (ordered a 2amp power unit) to charge it. Worked totally fine up until a few days ago.
The device WILL NOT charge when turned on and plugged into my computer either (tried desktop and laptop).
Tried using multiple micro usb cables and wall chargers. I ordered a 2amp wall charger just to trouble shoot. I am not sure where the one that came with the device went.
I have read a few places that a 2amp unit is required (which is why I ordered one). However, I have never read anywhere that the device will not charge when plugged into a computer and powered on.
I flashed my device back to stock unrooted and still get this. Even relocked to bootloader.
Any suggestions? Should I send this device back for warranty? If so how do I even do this?

Roll back to stock and Unroot and send it for warranty!

[Q] Phone turning on while charging

Hi, I have a note 2 running 4.3 rooted and it will turn on by itself after 5 minutes when charging while the phone is off. I am using the original cable and charger and i also tried turning off power saving before shutting the phone off.
Thanks for any help.

I have same problem 2 days ago.
For me solution was - clean up the usb port

I have almost the same problem, any solutions here?

clean which side of the usb port? the micro usb or the big one?

micro USB at the bottom of the phone.When my start to do that (when i put it to charge screen turn off and then after while again on ,than off )(switching between charging and not)(battery drain as well) i clean the micro USB with needle and problem gone. Now no drain and screen off / on

but for me, i TURN my phone OFF before i charge and it turns on

please help

Note 2 a weird Charger USB Cable Problem Plz Help

I have a weird problem with my Note 2. Recently my phone was repaired ( changed Display and Main board)
working fine at today Afternoon, but now my phone is not charging with my Stock charger, my brothers phone charge with my Charger but my Note 2 wont. I tried his charger and it works, then I connected my phone 2 pc with the same usb cable I used in my charger, and it charge but pc cant recognize my phone, Same cable work for other phone and charger also work for other phone.
I Factory resetted my phone but not working Switch off, Battery pulled out. still not working.
Do I hv to Reflash my phone.
I'm downloading DN3_v5+ rom
I'll try this one.
But it will take around 4hrs, and what if it wont work.
Plz Guyz Help me

It sounds like your USB port on your phone is messed up. A lot of times with a bad micro usb port it will either not charge but sync data or it will not sync data but will charge. Also this goes for the actual usb cables as well. If you use a known good usb cable and it will either not charge or not sync dats on your pc, then it's most likely your usb port on your phone is bad. Even the refurbished devices sometimes will have bad ports that were not fully tested before passig QC so this is what I suspect is going on with your phone.

I've heard a bunch of people having this problem. My temporary solution was buying an additional batter w/charger for battery. But the usb flex cable I repaired myself last week. The part was $11.00 and the tools to pry apart and unscrew the phone were about $10.00. There are several tutorial videos on YouTube that guided me through the process.

Ok this thing is driving me nuts now. My phone didn't charge but it recognized my usb otg so i thought my batyery is dead. I tried another battery and my note was charging it just fine. So i decided to buy a new battery. I bought a probably fake one but again my phone wont charge the fake and my friend's note is charging the fake just fine. I connected the phone to pc were the led became red and the battery widget said that the phone was charging. However it wont recognise the device. Also rebooted to twrp and tried asb sideload but again it wont recognise the phone. My note is rooted using mr luong rom. Please help me! I havent seen such a thing before!

Try enabling the USB Debugging under Developer Options.

Change the plug, your cable is okay just the plug is damaged, the original battery also okay. Check after changing the plug, and remember- always use samsung original.
