I like to use Keepass to copy and paste my username and password into various browsers for logging in to Web sites and it works well except with the Maxthon browser where I cannot paste anything from Keepass for logging in.
I've noticed that I can paste to the address bar so I can get information from Keepass into the address bar but not the logging-in where I want it.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?
thanks.
I have discovered that that you cannot copy/paste using the Android 4.2.1 (jelly bean) on the Maxthon browser and have reported the issue to the Maxthon forum and await a response from Maxthon developers.
This explains why I cannot copy passwords from Keepass into the Maxthon browser for logging-in.
Same here, it worked with ICS but right after downloading the official update to JB paste function stopped working. Hopefully you get an answer, cause this s****

Hello,
After a quick search I wasn't able to find any topics on this subject so apologies if this has been covered already.
Can anyone suggest an app that will enable me to bookmark links on my android and have these sync'd to an online account? I know there are apps that will sync bookmarks with your desktop. I've also tried a few apps that sync with Delicious but none of these allow you to bookmark from within the default android browser. In summary, here's the setup I'd like
- bookmark link from within android browser with ability to tag the link before I save the link.
- view bookmarked links online (with functionality like Delicious)
cheers,
Keith

I use chrome on desktop.
I use chromarks paid version.
You can sync to default android browser.
Google bookmarks accepts delicious now. So you'll be happy.
Thanks mate.
ChromeMarks seems to sync with my local chrome browser ('Bookmark Manager'), not my 'Google Bookmarks'. I've recently discovered that Google Bookmarks doesn't sync with bookmarks that have been saved within Google Chrome (present within 'Bookmark Manager').
So, how have you managed to get ChromeMarks to sync with Google Bookmarks instead of Bookmark Manager?
Just an observation... I've noticed is that after exporting my bookmarks from Chrome, and trying to import them into Google Bookmarks... I discovered that you can't do it directly - only through Delicious. How bizarre!
Yes.. I thought I had a line that said
Chrome bookmarks are not google bookmarks and gb are not cm.
Pick one and stick with it. google or chrome books...just export from delish to chrome.
Export google books to file. Import to chrome. Stop using google books. Start using chrome entirely and no conflicts.
If you use all kinds of browsers... do ONE full export from all and then iONE import of those into chrome. Then stop using any and all bookmark sites and just pick one bookmark method and stick with it and you've got a commitment.
This is just how id do it if I were to PICK chrome bookmarks as my master bookmarks method.
Fyi the chrommarks sync to native browser doesn't seem to work inb gingerbread yet. It doesn't seem.
Saw someone on the forum mention Maxthon browser so decided to check it out, it's actually really fast. However I can't seem to get it to sync bookmarks with the desktop and the addon I downloaded for it to bookmarks fails to login to google, does anyone know any other way to get chrome's bookmarks to sync with it?

Maxthon can only sync with its own desktop version browser. Personally I prefer Maxthon rather than chrome on desktop, it has better basic functions like built-in adhunter, screen snap, webkit/IE engines, video downloader etc.
Yeah I installed the desktop version, created an account, signed into both, imported bookmarks on desktop version, but it still won't sync to mobile.

I just recently became aware of Maxthon browser. I am a die-hard Chome Beta user, but I have to say that Maxthon does an awesome (and better) job at displaying web content on my N7. So I am continuing to explore it, but I have some questions for knowledgable Maxthon users:
1. I'd love to have the "home" button open my favorites folder containing my sync'ed links. Is this possible? What I am really after is one-touch access to the sync'ed links. As far as I can tell, the "home" button opens the quick access page, where I CAN put my favorite links, but they won't be sync'd across devices if they are just sitting on that page outside of the favorites folder. At least, that's my understanding.
2. Is there a quick way to go from full-screen mode back to normal display? Like a one-touch access? Or do I need to open the menu to do so?
3. Does Maxthon support Flash?
Thanks in advance!
Cant help with 1&2 but on 3 Maxthon doesn't support flash. There are options for selecting flash but it usually crashes or freezes. Boat browser supports flash well. Being a former Maxthon user, I went to Boat because of flash. They are both similar.

I am working a customer service for a company x. They have my customers' information uploaded to their web. I have to log in the web, and tap on a customer's address to bring up google navigation. However i tap on it (and tried to tap many time), but nothing happened. Do you think it is a bug from chrome, or i have done wrongly? (I understand that we can long-tap to select and copy the address and paste to gps, but buy doing that it take too long b/c i have many customers)
My os info. Android 4.2.2 . the newest chrome browser. The newest google map. Thank
Tried with chrome beta?

*Tried chrome beta, but got the same result.

Seems it used to be very easy to share bookmarks between browsers. Stock could run Chrome no problem and you could import your Dolphin marks easily using an .html file. Now it seems like everything is blocked. Stock no longer will run Chrome bookmarks and the .apk that made that possible has been removed from GAPPS. As a matter of fact, I cannot see any way to import bookmarks into the stock browser.
Can this be true? There must be a workaround. I'm only interested in the Stock browser because it handles embedded video the best by far.
