Hello
I own a note ii but the update didn't roll in my country yet. Is there any way that i can update my phone because i am having some reboots and from what i have heard from other posts the 4.1.2 update is said to fix this issue...
Thanks in advance!

AT&T has been rolling out 4.1.2 update for jellybean. I received my notification for an update a few days ago. Can any report WifiTether_TrevE_Mod working with with lastest AT&T OTA update? I am scared to update to the new version of jellybean. I have also heard Android 4.1.2 update makes it easy for carriers to identify and block tethering! Is this true?
I am currently running 4.1.1
My Note 8 (N5110) did an OTA update to 4.2.2 one day. I thought this would a be a good time to do a reset on everything, so that's what I did.
However, the reset brought the note back to 4.1.2 and now when trying to update it says that I'm running the most up-to-date software. Does anyone know how to get around this? Do I need to delete a cache or something?
Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.

When exactly do you think you got the 4.2.2 update? As far as I know (as of the evening of Friday, September 23rd) the GT-N5110 update has not been released officially. There are leaks for the 5110 & 4.2.2 versions for the N5120 (LTE), but not the GT-N5110 Wifi only Note 8.0.

Around 4 days ago. I recently bought it refurbished - it installed 2 firmware updates and then the 4.2.2 update.
Perhaps I imagined it.
Thank you for letting me know that nothing has been officially released.
Nothings been released man sorry

Hi, I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100. It based on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
I know the newer upgrades are available. But the problem is, why does my Galaxy Note II always show a dialog box telling that the latest update has been installed? Is there any way to solve the problem? Note: If possible, I want the update by using my Galaxy Note II only. Thank you
thats the latest for n7100...
4.3 are only leaked firmware and still in development.. so we need to wait till its been officially released by samsung for OTA upgrade.

s4 use 4.2.2...note 2 use 4.1.2..thats why the layout is different..but the leak n7100 4.3 have the same layout..you can try flash it if u want.
I saw all over internet that every note 8.0 is updated to 4.2. But I have connected to kies and no update. I am in Korea and was wondering is it my note or here in Korea there they aren't still updating to jelly bean 4.2.....does any one have any information to this. I am really annoyed with the Samsung slow update. The whole world got 4.2 and I am still stuck with this old 4.1!
Is any one else having this update problem?
Thanks in advance.

Type in gt-n5110 in the search box and you can see if there is an update for your region. If not you can just flash other versions through Odin.

Hi guys, I'm glad I came across this thread before I did something I would regret. I am currently running RocketTab 3.1, 4.1.2. I believe that is the latest version of it. I was reading that Kit Kat has recently become available for the Galaxy Tab 3 and I tried to update it OTA but it gave an error that said I modified something and was unable to get it. So I manually downloaded T217SVPUBNE7 and I was about to install it. I'm glad I stopped and took the time to read that it was only for the SM-T217S and I have the SM-T210 as was mentioned above.
Being rooted, I don't think it would be a good idea to take the OTA when it becomes available. Am I right, just wait until it's actually released for the SM-T210 and wait for a root method?

Hi mate, glad you saw this before you brick your device.. Just wait until the official update for T210 is released then you can unroot your device so you can update via OTA (since you can't get the official update from Samsung when your device is rooted).
I wonder how long after the OTA is released that they will have a root for it. If I can run Kit Kat on my T210, it would be like Christmas. Pretty exciting stuff happening.
