[Q] How to relock bootloader - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can someone guide me how to relock the bootloader on UHD 2.03 rom. And one more small question, should I revert back to stock kernel to relock the bootloader or is it okay to stay on Advanced Stock Kernel.
I could not find any thread talking about this for the Arc. So if you know any threads, kindly post me the link

Hello
I had seen that to make the Xperia Arc Root S is necessary to make a "donwgrade" in the system leaving it to .42, but WHAT would ftf?
Do you have any tutorial taught to do these procedures?

It's not that simple to find the right stuff for your phone (it took me a while to find the versions I wanted). First, you need to downgrade your firmware to version 4.0.2.A.0.42, you can find the right TFT file and flash it using Flashtool or use Wotanserver, then you need to use DoomLord's Rooting kit. There are plenty of tutorials and stuff on the net, just go and explore
never tried it on an arc s though, but has anyome tried using the outdated z4root app on the device while running on official ics 4.0.4?

Use the TestPoint method then instead of the Official Method, you'll find all you need at the first link in my sig.
The official method is more reliable and i see better for newbies... I highly recommend you continue with the SONY method... Actually when i was it his lvl, test point confused me...

The TestPoint method is better as you retain DRM, and if a video tutorial is too hard to follow, then yes, perhaps the Official no more reliable or better method is the way to go.

I have the same problem. I think that it is due to an official upgrate for Android 4.0.4 with PCC. Even if I use other way to root the mobile I can't. It is impossible to unlook the bootloader with the official way and I currently do not find another way to do it.
I am still looking for solution. :silly:
