Does anyone know where to get a quality micro sim card adapter? I have a rooted Galaxy S4G as my back up phone and in case of an emergency or etc.... I want to be able to pop my some card in and keep going.... I have looked on Amazon but they all say IPhone or have bad reviews

You might want to ask this in a different gs3 forum. You are in the Sprint model forum. We don't have sim cards.

Oh yeah, sometimes I forget that the accessories forum is for all models. My fault. I did just look on Amazon though because I was curious. There were a couple adapters that were universal, not just for the Iphone.

Of course we can sell our phones, but the buyer needs activate it through sprint.
I thought iphones used a standard mini sim... Any micro to mini sim should do just fine
Ontopic just use a plastic adapter as cheap as possible. Works flawless. I use it all the time with my e75

I know the adapters are like $2 but I know most of the reviews are bad but I guess if I buy 2-3 I'm still not out of much money

I just bought a few from eBay. $3 for a nano to micro and nano to standard.
I had bought some from eBay but the micro sim card was always so loose and hard to insert in to the phone. I decided to do a bit of research and came across http://microsim-shop.com. It is a little more expensive than those ones off eBay, however, it has corner grooves where the micro sim is firmly secure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjLk-amds9k&feature=youtube_gdata_player has more info if you wish.

The reason why it doesn't come with an SD card is because theoretically we have 16gb of storage built in, but only about 11-12gb is accessible.

It's cheaper than T-Mobile.
Do they do rebates too?
Any drawbacks from buying from them?
I'm looking to buy this phone so I'm shopping around for the best price without a rebate.
I know Sam's or Costco have them as well, but I don't have a membership with them.

No rebates. Drawbacks? Yea, a few... The employees don't know anything, they demand the phone needs to be opened, they sometimes open the phones to play with them and sell them as new and they tried to accuse me of stealing memory cards from phones cause I exchanged 3 of them.
Buy from target, they have it for the same price and they're a better company to support.
I got a PNY 32GB class 10 from Best Buy in Washington for $69
Target, best buy, Costco seem to be the best places to buy them. Idk why Tmobile has it for 29 extra the phone gets raised to 324 dollars with taxes. Which is quite ridiculous.

So my question is if I can get a new pair of them. I'm willing to pay 25$

get them direct from samsung is probably the best option, many online sellers will give you the gs2 version which does not work properly.
if you just loss the muffs, all you need to do is buy a new set of muff, they are pretty cheap.

It only has six points of contact and would be fairly easy for someone skilled with a soldering iron. If it isn't your forte, you could probably find a local electronics shop that would do it for you for a reasonable fee.

yeahh I sent it in for repair and they said they could not repair it....then on top of that my note2 got stolen Friday. I'm using a old windows phone 7....its killing me
I had mine apart last night to do the USB port repair (replace the whole ribbon) and looked at the sim slot while it was apart. I am no expert, but I have replaced surface mount chips before that are much more difficult then what this repair would be. A fine tip temp control iron, some desolder braid (along with solder and flux), and it is pretty straight forward. Wouldn't need to take it apart any further then just removing the back.
If you end up wanting to get rid of it for savagehax offer, I would be interested in yours, that being it would be missing a battery back and have a defective sim slot.
Speaking of which, are you sure the sim slot is the defective piece? It'd be worth it to put a meter on there and measure continuity between the pins and solder points.
Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
I had a sim adapter in it and when I pulled it out I guess it rip some pins.....cell phone repair pros told me they could repair it they put in a new sim reader and all...

It's...perfect. I can't believe I couldn't buy anything like this before. I mean, MicroUSB, MicroSD, no one ever bothered to combine the two into a retail product before? It's not like the Nexus trend of no dedicated MicroSD slot just happened last month.
I got one of these a few days ago. Can't wait! Something to one-up this, would be something that someone in another thread suggested; a protective case that plugs into the micro USB port and has a microSD slot on it. I think an even better option than that though, would be having a microSD slot built into a protective battery case, such as the Mophie Juice Pack.

Reached last stretch goal--"add two new color options. One is Metallic Silver -- for those who crave for an aluminum build but we couldn't deliver due to manufacturing difficulty. It is not quite as nice, but at least looks alike -- hey, even for a BMW, there is plastic under its metallic silver finish. The other color is bright vibrant Orange -- for those who like to have a little more color in life. You will be asked to choose your color or colors once the funding is closed."

+1 on Meenova Card Reader. Very very handy for me especially when flashing ROMs where I can easily backup my data and with the included Adaptor I can easily copy files from my laptop on the go. I also like the LED indicator to show data transfer. Its cheap and build quality is exceptional.
