[Q] 2 Problems regarding play Store, and CSC - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HI I live in Kosovo, Bough the Phone here in Kosovo, Im using with Native Carrier, valamobile.com but since is a new country the phone numbers that we have goes by the prefix of Monaco, +377, example my phone nr, 044/123-456, if u call from foregin country you call with +377(0)44/123-456 so this is the problem that Play store its not working because ... Monaco is not listed anywhere in Samsung Mobile, or Sammobile firmwares or i cant find anywhere Monaco. The Other problem is about CSC,
When i Connect to Kies it shows, BTU, its United Kingdom, How is this possible should i change my CSC or what should i do, I have 4.1.1 version, and this is the Latest firmware in Kies, so If i change the CSC in wich country should i change,.. fu*&
Im stuck in my phone all day and don't know what to do. Thanks.

Hi,
market enabler download > install it > open application and select any country and open play store

I tried to search for csc code for kosovo but it seems that it isn't there yet as you said it is a new country.
You will have to stay with uk csc code.

And I can confirm that there had been a new firmware update released for btu or uk.

Your Device does not support software upgrading via Kies GT-N7100 Help Please!

Hi,
I bought my Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) a week ago from Pakistan. After connecting it with PC, Kies showed me that I have a new firmware available for downloading. I had to unplug my phone from pc at that moment for some reason and I didn’t download the firmware immediately and when I plugged it again Kies told me that "Your Device does not support software upgrading via Kies" . When i connected my phone for the first time kies identified the csc correctly as (PAK) but then it showed it (XXX)
I flashed the following updated stock ROM from sammobile.

but i am out of luck, problem is still there.
I tried changing csc through CSC Changer to (PAK) to (EGY) and then back to (PAK) but the problem is still there.
The code *#272*IMEI# isn’t working on my note 2. My phone is not rooted. Can someone please tell me the *#272*IMEI# equivalent code since it’s not working on Note 2 (GT-N7100).
These were the details before i flashed the ROM
AP:N7100XXALJ1
CP:N7100XXALIH
CSC:N7100OJVALJ1
These are the details after i flashed the ROM from sammobile
Can someone please tell any other solution to this problem?
Help Please!
If you have to,just remove the sim card from the phone and try it that way. Although not an optimum solution.

Have done the factory rest from the settings menu and as well as from the Volume Up + Home+power In the recovery menu, but again same message.
Hi, had the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling Kies should solve it

Well first of all I installed a custom rom (OmniRom 4.4) it had bugs cuz it's still new rom so I went back to stock after success installation I reboot my phone but the phone became a bell (I have rogers) so because it was late I thought I'll change the csc next day but early in the morning my brother installed the stock firmware again because of bloatwares well while he was installing he checked efs box and the repartition too
not 5 minutes after he waz done I saw what he did and since then I tried almost everything and looking everywhere I have even the twrp backup but the twrp can't find it becomes there is something wrong with internal memory
I installed titanium backup to restore my (tibu)
It did install nothing changed
I'm hopeless
Sorry for that spelling I'm using Taptalk lol
Can you use Odin to flash back to stock 100% and go from there? It looks like you definitely need to get back to stock firmware and your description is a little confusing as to what your brother did with...Odin?..that's a guess because you didn't state what he was doing exactly

This is crazy - Read

I have a Developer Edition that was on the WW 1.54.401.5 Firmware. With that firmware
ATT Isis Wallet installed and was set up perfectly. This am I saw that the Developer Edition update was available
so I put back my phone to the Original Developer edition firmware, got the update. All went great. Power Saver there etc...
Now I am re installing my apps and the Isis Wallet now says incompatible! This is crazy the WW firmware works and
the Developer Edition Firmware does not. For the record I am S- OFF and super user.
Any ideas?

Back to WW firmware
Well I am back to the 1.54.401.5 Firmware. Isis wallet works perfectly again.
Very strange it would be accepted with the WW firmware as opposed to the Developer Edition.
Completely stock

to my knowledge isis wallet is more a carrier thing so it does make sense if the att firmware works with it and the developer firmware doesnt. so if you have the wrong firmware it shouldnt work..icould be wrong though. But i always seen it that way.

The thing that's crazy is the WW firmware is NOT ATT. Actually neither is the Developer Edition Firmware.
So to answer your question in this case its not tied to ATT firmware.

How to find out which rom to flash on my D855

I had purchased a supposedly international unlocked LG g3 D855 32gb from eBay. Currently I am running kitkat 4.4.2 rooted rom which came pre-installed on the phone and it's rooted. There is no update center on my phone
Now I want to update it to lollipop or may be marshmallow but the problem is that I can't find which version of rom to flash as there are lots of D855 models in market there is European version, Korean version, Hong Kong version, Indian version. There is no clear indication on the box or on the phone abt the version is there any sure shot way of knowing what rom should I flash as I can't take risk of hard / soft bricking the phone. I am attaching screen shot of software version.
Please help

Hi
Download the app LGPhone From from play store, run it and one of the entries under serial no. will give a series of letters which denote area and carrier. E.g AGBRVK which is Virgin UK. Hope this helps.

Downloaded "LG phone from" and "LG phone info" and it says original : FAIL
what does it mean
Sent from my Lenovo K50a40 using Tapatalk
Beneath the battery it's written MADE IN KOREA.
I m not really sure.. If its true or not
Sent from my Lenovo K50a40 using Tapatalk
If it is an original LG D855 the first entry should read OK, and then should list serial numbers and IME. Possibly your phone is a fake. I don't know as I have never seen one.

Samsung Account won't work

Hello XDA Community,
I bought an N975F/DS two weeks ago and I didn't notice the sign 'ASIAN SIM ONLY'. Currently I live in Europe and when I tried to put my European SIM, it worked. But I have a problem, I can't access the Samsung Account. Made some research found so many methods but not any of them seems to work. When I try to login into Samsung Account with my SIM card inserted it gives a message 'Processing Failed'
Then after researching I tried a method:
Removing the SIM card, hard resetting, kaboooom I logged in successfuly. But in the moment I put my SIM there I can't do anything, everytime I try to access Bixby or Samsung Account it says that I need to check my internet connection. I lt looks like Im logged in but I cant access even my profile.
Had a conversation with Samsung Malaysia (because after checking my IMEI I noticed that this device is registered in Malaysia) but they couldn't help.
Tried:
Factory Reset
Opening a new Samsung Account
Wipe cache
Clearing cache and storage at Samsung Account and Samsung Experience
Safe mode
Updating my account details from desktop (account.samsung.com)
Still no success.
What should I do ? Is there any way to fix this ?
Thanks for your time

I'm not sure but maybe changing the CSC with SamKey (if not rooted) or if rooted manually...
