You are very welcome.
Very nice.
(This should be in themes and apps) Can't remove bloatware/freeze apps/wipe dalvik cache etc...TIBU ftw
Thanks for the find though, good app for non rooted users.

Let's not get carried away now..Carbon is great but Titanium offers much more..So for backing up apps "easy" sure, we can say bye to titanium if you don't care about backing up sms,mms and random system apks..

A bit off topic but Brian I remember you over at the Evo LTE, how long has it been since you have the NOTE 2? I figured you as it HTC Sense for life type of GUY.

they are pushing this app hard. it even had its own story on the yahoo! front page this morning.
I agree... Carbon is good for backing up user apps, but doesn't do mich more than that. App Monster has been backing up user apps non-rooted for years and it's ui is still better imo. Titanium does tons more than Carbon.. shouldn't even compare the two. I like Carbon.. does what it says and nicely.. not bashing it, but they seem to be trashing other apps unfairly to promote it. Dislike.

What's up man..I am an HTC'er but the Evo LTE was pissing me off so I had to bounce...I bought the note 2 full price to keep my upgrade open in June for what ever this M7 may offer..Decided to give Samsung another shot for a few months and figured resale value may still be good if I decide to sell it (note2)..I still have the Evo LTE though..If anything worth while happens for the Evo I can always go back..so in short I call this stage intermission to see if HTC is going to get their act together...
Sorry for being off topic..Anyone remember My Back up pro..I used the hell out of that app on my Hero.

There are a few apps that are always needed for any phone and they
TB
ROOT EXPLORER
DROPBOX
NOVA LAUNCHER
BEAUTIFUL WIDGETS

I have been an android user since cupcake and these apps are the most useful to me thus far.
Titanium isn't just for backing up data. It also unistalls and freezes user and system apps, extracts apps from nandroid back ups and also backs up to other cloud services.

Yep. Its coming. I am not promising it will be quick... I have to completely rebuild it from scratch for this phone, but it is coming.
If you don't know what it is, check here - GamerMod for the Epic 4G Touch
I have some ideas to make it sharper and cleaner that what I have there.
I am curious to know what kind of features would you like to see.

We have been having issues with the fi27 build on the e4gt. I actually had completed it... but in pieces. So systemui was working if I flashed it on its own, mms same story... and so on and so forth. But... when I packed up the whole rom, none of my modded apps would work. So we have been rebuilding it. You might also check out the vid I have posted in the op.

Hi just got my new at&t galaxy note 2 three days ago on 2nd day I rooted it and restore all my apps via tibu this phone is blazing fast, do u still recommend flashing a new rom on this beast? I came from Samsung Infuse 4g and been using cm10 but some features are not working properly like video camera. If I flashed a rom on my note 2 i wanted everything working so is it worth flashing new rom? And lastly I also uninstalled all at&t boatloaders.

Jedi ROM, no question! Super fast. Hate in stock ROM or any other ROM other then Jedi, when u press the home button, action is not instant. Same with swiping pages. With Jedi, its instantly. Well, everybody has their favorite ROM. U need to try and see which one is best for u. But check Jedi ROM. U might not flash any other.

I should have posted this somewhere else. Sorry :/
Instead of rooting. If u were in just stopping the bloat ware, You should have disabled the bloatware within the application manager. Click an application within the application manager and choose "disable". That application would be disabled and hidden from your apps drawer. Hope this helps a bit.

So now, cydia has reached android. Saurik decided he wanted to attempt to branch out. What do you think about this? To me, it just gives n00bz to android another reason to call root, "jailbreak". :banghead:

From what I've read about this, it simply organizes the mods and themes we already have into a single place, Cydia. I don't see it taking off on Android, but I could be wrong.

No, it's basically a new framework for installing tweaks and mods. Like XPosed
I kinda don't know how I feel about this in general though....might turn too much like iOS, which may not be a bad thing, but isn't necessarily a good thing either.

Anything on android being similar to anything on ios is a horrible thing imo
Sent from my ANTHRAX sniffing GS3
I see this as a good thing. Cydia won't turn Android to anything iOS. I see this as Apple becoming boring, to hard to keep up with the jailbreaking and patches.
Sent from my Freeza MD4 Stock Rooted Galaxy S3
This could potentially be a great thing not just a good thing. This could bring theming to stock oems without having to flash the theme separately. Amongst other things.
