[WIP] Theme Port [WIP] CWM flashable

So first off i want to give credit to
DISCLAIMER make a nandroid before flashing this i am not responsible for what happens to your device it works fine on mine
EDIT 1 im uploading a mirror so hold tight
mirror at the bottom
(Thyrus) for the theme
(ptfdmedic) for his rom
I loved Thyrus's theme when i was on sense 3.0 and had to have it again when i came to this phone so i slowly and i mean slowly have been porting over the theme to the midNIGHT rom and that what we have here.
This is midNIGHT V1.0 Beta-ish themed well theme in progress so if you want to use it thank the two devs i mentioned all i did is start to make it work on our devices.

INSTRUCTIONS
1.download to PC
2.copy to internal memory as you cant see your SD card in CWM
3.install zip from SD
4.flash
5.reboot and enjoy
also this will wipe data so back up with titanium backup or something

are you trying to download it from your phone if so it wont work with the stock browser you need opera or something of use a pc to dl it

Ayo Im on ERA's Deodexed framework and apps but this one particular theme doesn't flash right, I was able to thrown on Tiff84's theme w/ no issues but this theme only the overscroll flashes and the bat icon, but not the color, its white. >>EDITED<< Also, the page were you toggle USB storge and progress animation were themed as well, but nothing more.

[MOD] Keyboards Juggs5.0\ updated new keyboards.

Here are a couple of keyboards a made up, I have only tested them on Juggernaut 5.0, if you want you can try them on other roms. If you do let us know if they work or not. The Android keyboard listed as LatinIME.apk is easy to change if you just want a different background, unzip it and replace the backgroung image.
LatinIME.apk/android keyboard, is the one with the watterdrop background
Axt9IME.apk/samsung keyboard is with the dark background blue keys.
Download and paste with root explorer or other similar ap to system/app

I can't figure out how to get this to work. I downloaded and went through file manager and moved to system/app folder. It just keeps saying application not installed. I'm running juggs 5.0

Try deleting the old keyboard before u paste the new one and make sure u have rw rewrite privilege to that folder. Which one are u trying to install ?

I was trying use the water drop, then the red one. I'm not sure how to make sure I have rewrite privileges,or where the Original keyboard I need to delete is. There are the Samsung and Android Keyboard options.

wouldn't you need the s pen in order to really take advantage of that app

im really interested in the getting the camera apk to work. everytime i try to install it just ends up telling me it couldnt be installed.

It installed just fine without having to push it, after a reboot it showed up and has been working fine for me.
The first time I downloaded it I was having the same issues as you though.

If I tell s voice to navigate to something, it works fine. If I ask it to find a store or location then it will load on a black screen and eventually FC.
I know there is no support since these are pulled from an unreleased phone, but tht I would share my experience.

to the OP can you upload the S memo apk by itself so we dont have to download all 300mb...

This is the SMemo.apk, SMemoProvider.apk, and the related odex files. Enjoy.
I couldn't get SMemo to work with my E4GT on CM9 a4. The APK may need to be modified for our DPI or something. I'm going to poke around and see if I can't figure it out.
UPDATE: After poking around, I have found that the SMemo.apk uses the TW libraries, so those of us on AOSP ROMs are SOL when it comes to using the SMemo app. Anyone on a 4.0.4 TW ROM should be able to run SMemo by pushing the apk and the SMemoProvider apk to /system/app.

dialer background color

has anyone been able to change the dialer background color from white to black? a few of us have been trying for awhile now with no success. sammy has hidden it deep for some reason. any insight would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Is it in the phone.apk? Perhaps another version of the phone (Canadian model?) has a dark theme?

Ive tried the secContacts and secPhone apk's from the other carriers...no dice.

Update* I figured it out. It is an xml edit. Its in a few of the fragment xml's in seccontacts.apk if anyone wants to know specifically pm me or ill post tonight.

Edit: Worked pretty nicely. I manually installed phone and contacts from the link above. Pretty happy with the results.

I'm trying to edit something in the SecContacts.apk after editing the correct line in the xml file. Recompile fine and push to phone.
When I open the Contacts app it work fine but if I open the Phone app directly or with the Phone tab inside Contacts it shut down. Any insight to what I'm doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. I've edit apk in the past but this is first attempt with the GS4.

I was trying to figure that out before. I think it has something to do with the s5 launcher itself. There are a few apps it resizes itself. the accuweather and the calendar.
The resizable widget i made worked for a few, but on reboot the launcher broke them. So im going to try again after i get everything else done

I'm currently running just the stock rooted rom that effortless had in his instructions thread. I've not flashed any other mod than one I made for the 4 way reboot.
So I'm not sure man. I had one issue that I've seemed fixed. I had grumpy weather installed and it kept popping up unified daemon crashed. But I never saw that one
I know you know what your doing, so I'm not gonna ask if you screwed something up. Lol

THANKS... I was going to flash it, but I was fixing my phone first, then my wifes...
after I get the backups done, I will flash it and try.... I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect anything else...
edit: just flashed it, working just fine... I use a black background, and all is good...

How do I revert back to the original? I'm running effortless rev6 with apex and it did something weird?
Seems to work fine on the stock launcher, doesn't like apex?

Well it's a Samsung widget so only TouchWiz launcher is all its gonna work on. All in all it likes apex just not for it?

just wanted to give an update on this,
it has been working on all the new releases for our Tmobile N900T and also for the N9005 releases without issues,
I insert this on my own personal roms, what I do is, put this in my rom - accuweather apk, remove the odex file in my rom, since its a odex rom, it is just easier..
