[Q] Hybrid Mode App? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am a VERY happy Galaxy Note 2 owner.... I've been constantly looking at the various Android Development threads to see if there was something that would fit my needs, and haven't, so asking here...
I have been itching to try Paranoid Android, for the ability to change densities on individual apps for tablet mode, etc., but I have grown attached to the S Pen, and want to be able to use it, S Memo, etc. I am rooted, currently on Stock, MA5 Deodexed. Is there an app that would allow me to have that control of pixel density for individual apps, while still allowing me to use Touchwiz features, or is that a strictly AOSP thing right now?

There's only like 4 or five. It's all in the Android Original Development section. That section isn't very...crowded.
Thank you very much. I also just noticed that the goodness rom had them included in their rom!!

And as The Root said there are very few. Make sure they match your ROM whether it be AOSP or TW.
Also make sure they are for the Sprint GS3, do not flash a kernel that is not specifically for the Sprint variant.

Jedi X11 or Jedi Master 10?

* Mod please move to Q&A. Thanks! *
Is there a list of the comparison of both ROMs? (Aside to the feature list on the front page.)
btw: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168093 ....is not very informative.
(Besides X11 being based on International vs X10 (TM base) w/ wifi)....
Note: Aside to the minor differences between the two, I figured this will also help satisfy future curiosities...it's always to have a simple answered post.
You answered your own question. That's it.... What they're based off and the features stated in the changelogs. After that it's personal preference. I tried Em both and loved them both equally. I have tmobile and though I don't use wifi calling.... I'd rather stick with the base. They're both awesome bro simple as that.

Tweaked is the rom you want.
And this is the wrong section. Good day
Give them a try, see what you like. I am not running either right now but playing with tweaked. They have all been smooth and stable so you can't really go wrong. With that said you are a senior member since 2010, you know this is not the q&a section and this is not related to development hence does not belong in this section. If you click on the top left link for the tmobile samsung galaxy note 2 that will take you back a section where you will see different sections for general, q&a, themes, apps etc.. This post will be removed/or move based on moderator discretion since it's not in the correct place.
Well what are the odds...if it's simply just that then hey...Cheers! :highfive:

Changing Carrier Label?

Does anyone know how to change the carrier label on the Note 2?
I've tried many of the apps and none seem to work.
I'm on Novella Dos Rom but I also tried it on Cleanrom and I can't find a way.
Thanks in advance.
I believe the appropriate XML file is located in SystemUI.apk
Edit: i haven't manually changed it in a while. And when i did it was on a different device. Truthfully I'm not 100% how to change it on the n2 but i know the ROMs i run like aokp and other variants let me do it with ROM control.

Anything other than the default Rogers message. Maybe Samsung... even a blank message would be better. It ruins the clean look of my lockscreen. :*

What do i do?..

OK, so a week ago I switch from the GSII to GSIII.. GSII has a bunch of support!! Figured since the SIII has been out a while that the S3 would be close to the same level... thought wrong... here's why.. I love multiwindow, I love S voice, Smart stay etc... well what "ROM" do I choose that supports these functions??? Some consider these options "bloat", but without them what seperates the GSII from GSIII?? THIS is not a rant, just a real question.. I want to keep these items and still have customization like I did on AOKP roms... where do I turn???

There are a bunch of ROMs that have multiwindow and a bunch of customization options. Try to read the ROM threads more clearly and you will see which ROMs have which features.
I was just using Axis yesterday, and I recommend it to you. It has a nice theme, multi window, and a plethora of tweaks. You can change almost any part of the ROM to suit your liking. I know the screenshots in the thread don't reveal much, but it has the most customization options in any TouchWiz ROM I've used to date...I'll even say that it's close to the number of options AOKP has. :good:
The S3 just got the 4.1.2 update with the multi-window, you really can't expect devs to add custom features that quickly. Take a look in the android development thread, keep an eye out for anything Jovy23 releases.
Other than that, you have to flash what's available, there are 4.1.2 ports that have the multiwindow feature as well as the other features you mention. You can find this stuff in the android development section.

New to s 3 forums

Hi I'm new to the s 3 forums I just got mine today, is there a custom ROM that has all the nice features from stock (ie the motion features) or a modified stock ROM with halo?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Look in the Android development section for custom Touchwiz based ROMs that include the features.
Look in the original android development section for AOSP based ROM
(Some AOSP ROMs maybe found in the Android Development)
Read OP and READ everything on the OP for features you might like.

A lot of the tw roms are great. I have many favorites. I am currently running detmobilized 1.3 with faux kernel. Haven't tried 1.4 yet.
