Hi, it's my first time rooting android and after a while I think I'm gonna have to ask. I have an Xperia S (LT26i) running GB 4.0.4 Build 6.1.A.2.55. Yesterday I managed to unlock the bootloader but I have no idea about how to start rooting it. I did however try the Bin4ry's root exploit but it just "runs forever", is there any way you could help me with this? (like, suitable for noobs you know..) Thanks!

Hi everyone ! How I can ROOT 4.1.B.0.587 on my Xperia Arc, because I have locked bootloader. I found many topics, but none was to root an Xperia with locked bootloader.:crying:

Yes there are a couple. Search and you will find them. Bin4ry's method and a prerooted CWM flashable rom are two of the ways to do it with locked bootloader.

No you can always flash back to stock wiping away root.
