Hi,
Here is useful Arabic programs cab.
Take care
it didnt work , can u illsturate more please..
Arabic Files for HTC S620
Hi,
Here is the full list with instruction file. You need to follow installation instruction and feedback.
Thanks
does it work with wm5? does the phone need to be unlocked? i can see the arabic letters but they are backwards. the arabic software says" cannot run on your device". i have t-mobile dash (htcS620 ) and windows mobile 5.
How can I put other languages?
Thanks
Yeshai
i tried doing installing both methods several times, its never worked for me. every time i install it and restart the phone, it never boots to the home screen, it just reboots over and over.
i have the t-mobile dash with windows mobile 6
any suggestions?
The arabizer software does work with WM5.
does the phone need to be unlocked? anaq8i?
ill reinstall windows mobile 5 on the dash and try installing it again, but it sucks that i cant get it to work with windows mobile 6, but then again, i more or less just wanna see some arabic script on a smartphone for once! anyway i think i found another method to be able to display arabic text on windows mobile 6, but i wont have time to test it out til later
callmerani, did it work for windows mobile 5? and which files did u install? thx also both arabizers install sucessfuly but the software says cannot run and the arabic letters are read backwards and they are disconnected. i tried these on wm6 but it just crashed my phone so i know that i can make it work on wm5. when i install the arabizer suite it says (translated from arabic backwards) this program is made for a previous version than windows mobile 5
i installed it now on a t-mobile dash windows mobile 5. arabic text finally showed up, but often it was backwards and the letters were not connected. most of the programs that came with it also didnt work, and i couldnt send txt msgs nor type in arabic. also, none of the secondary symbols worked while typing, like the one's u normally access by pressing alt. also, looking through the software, it is obvious it was meant for a pocket pc, not a smartphone.
My phone is an HTC s620, not branded to any carrier and no unlocking to do.
callmarani....here same problem ..is there a way i can format it of fix it ?
I am stuck too with this stupid SW! I need to get the hell out of this ARABIC DEAL!!! it missed up my phone
callmerani it seems that me and you have the same problem. we see the letters backwards and disonnected.
has anyone tried this?
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=20118
it is made for windows mobile 5 but the demo wouldnt install on my phone for some reason
all of u guys have problems. so does anyone read arabic?? or u guys are just testing and searching . coz this matter is getting me nuts !! either it reads arabic or i go back to my N80 nokia .
HTC S621
none of the programs listed here worked with mine. After unzipping and installation, the phone displays Arabic letters backwords and detached. My HTC S621 is running WM 5.0.
Thought of sharing this.
thank you
i guess we just have to wait until a compatible software is released
I have
Dopod 838pro
IPL - 1.04
SPL- 2.10 Olipro
Radio 1.43.00.00
OS - Black Majik
whats the procedure ? as i think there is a exe file in the zip folder which i am currently downloading, if so then how do i extract only nbh. and what about the radio extraction. and flashing.
Pls senior members should post a easy guide, or many will brick their phone.
Reading wiki and researching the forum has confused me as there are lot of tech terms used which is unfamiliar. and different ways i guess. HELP HELP HELP.
For those, who have native ROMs:
01.
Upgrading the ROM Code erases all of personal data and custom-installed applications from the device. Make sure all of your personal information and data are backed up to your PC via ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. After updating the ROM, copy the data back to your mobile device and reinstall your applications.
02.
Third-party applications may have compatibility issues with Windows Mobile™ 6. Please consult with the software developer(s) before upgrading to Windows Mobile™ 6.
03.
Make sure the remaining battery power is above 50% before performing a ROM upgrade.
04.
Before upgrading the ROM, remove the miniSD (U1000, D810 and 838Pro) or microSD (P800W) memory card from your device.
05.
Do not disconnect the USB cable or start other applications on your PC while the ROM upgrade program is running. Doing so may cause the upgrade program to fail. In the worst situation, your mobile device may fail to boot.
06.
The entire ROM upgrade installation process takes about 15-20 minutes. Please wait patiently.
07.
When the upgrade has completed, the mobile device will reboot and start installation of certain components automatically. This takes about 3-5 minutes.
08.
If you are not familiar with these operations or if you don’t know how to work with your PC, please visit your distributor or contact us for assistance.
09.
Note that once the operating system is upgraded to Windows Mobile™ 6, it cannot be downgraded to Windows Mobile 5. Consider your options carefully before you upgrade.

How do I synchronize my PC and mobile device?
To synchronize your mobile device to a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, you need to install Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 (or later). If you already have an earlier version of Microsoft ActiveSync installed, you must update it to synchronize your mobile device and PC.
To synchronize your mobile device to a Microsoft Windows Vista-based computer, you need to install Windows Mobile Device Center.
How do I get Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 or Windows Mobile Device Center?
If you are upgrading from Windows Mobile® 5.0 to Windows Mobile® 6, you need to download either ActiveSync® 4.5 or Windows Mobile Device Center from the Microsoft Web site:
ActiveSync 4.5
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/activesync45.mspx
Windows Mobile Device Center
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx
If you purchased your device with Windows Mobile® 6 pre-installed, you can install ActiveSync 4.5 or Windows Mobile Device Center from the Getting Started Disc.
What is Windows Live™ ?
Windows Live™ lets you easily find information on the web through Live.com and offers various Internet services, including Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Messenger, and Windows Live Spaces. Using Windows Live™ on your mobile device, you can send and receive instant messages, read or compose Live (Hotmail®) e-mail, and send photos to your Live Space.
When you set up Windows Live™ for the first time, your Windows Live contact list will be integrated with your Outlook contacts. You can then send and receive Windows Live Mail in Messaging.
How do I access the Windows Live™ service?
To access the Windows Live™ service, open the Windows Live program and sign in.
The first time you use Windows Live™, sign in by using your Windows Live ID, which is your Windows Live Mail or Hotmail address, and password.
What are the new features in Windows Mobile® 6 Messaging?
Windows Mobile® 6 Messaging has HTML e-mail support. In incoming HTML e-mails, formatting such as tables, inline photos, bullets and colored text, are retained without layout shifting or resizing.
What new features does Windows Live™ Messenger have that are not available in the mobile version of MSN Messenger?
When you are signed into Windows Live™ Messenger, photos of your Windows Live contacts are shown. You can also send files to them via Messenger.
What's new about Calendar in Windows Mobile® 6?
The improved Calendar in Windows Mobile® 6 has a calendar strip in Agenda view that shows the time range.
If your mobile device connects to Exchange Server 2007, Calendar also allows you to accept or decline meeting requests from others, and add required and optional attendees when you create meeting requests.
What's new about Contacts in Windows Mobile® 6?
Windows Mobile® 6 has added the call history to the contact card. This allows you to see all calls from and to a contact when you are viewing a contact card.
What is Storage Card Encryption?
Windows Mobile® 6’s storage card encryption feature protects your storage card from being accessed by unauthorized persons by encrypting the data in the storage card. Encrypted files on your storage card can only be read by your mobile device.
Attention:
1. When you synchronize your mobile device with Microsoft Exchange Server and perform a Remote Wipe, data in the storage card will be deleted.
2. If the storage card is or was previously enabled on your Windows Mobile® 6 device, you will no longer be able to access the encrypted files on your storage card after you perform a hard reset, clear storage, or ROM update/upgrade. Before performing a hard reset, clear storage, or ROM update/upgrade, make sure you back up all your files from the storage card to your PC first using ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Then copy the files back to your storage card afterwards.
If I delete the sync connection settings between my PC and mobile device, will my PIM data be deleted from my device, too?
For security, all PIM data, such as Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, Tasks, Notes, and Favorites will be removed from your device when you delete the sync connection settings between your PC and device. You should back up your data first before deleting the sync connection settings.

Only need to downgrade the SPL if you plan on flashing the ROM from HTC as is. http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=59&Itemid=27
Or, you can wait until someone extracts the .NBH file which will allow you to flash with the RUU and keep HardSPL7(2.10)..
By waiting, this allows more flexability in managing the Radio and ROM releases your self.
you can try to use dutty's nbh tools to extract the nbh file then upgrade. i tried it works fine by not downgrading the SPL
can u pls explain the step by step procedure

Apologies but I'm new to this - my HTC TyTn (unlocked) starts to show the progress bars for the firmware update but then stops and tells me I've got an "Invalid Vendor ID".
I was under the impression that this Dopod 838 WM6 official firmware would work on my TyTn? What am I missing please?
Thanks all,
Fedorov.
just checked the htc asia website- official wm6 for hermes is ready for download!!! Everybody scoot there now!!!

Upgrade to HardSPL.
then
READ THIS THREAD.
My Method
The steps that I took were:
1. First run the official EXE and monitor your c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp folder.
2. Eventually the signed *.nbh file will appear in a sub folder (90+ odd MB).
3. Copy out the *.nbh file to another location.
4. Continue through the EXE eventually it will bomb out and your device will restart.
5. Once booted copy SSPL-HERM (downloadable from wiki) to your device then execute it from the device.
6. Device will reset into bootloader mode.
7. Copy RUUWrapper (downloadable from wiki) into same location as *.NBH file on your PC.
8. Execute RUUWrapper select SSPL as the method and follow on screen prompts.
9. The process does take a while so be patient.
Hope this helps and Good luck.

Hi mrvanx,
First thanks very much for your effort since I have read your guide which is very useful for me.
I am using X01HT with WM6 (Black Pro 3.01 and Radio 1.41 and flashed HardSPL 2.10 Olipro), so if I wanna upgrade to Offical ROM from Dopod / HTC, do I need to use Dutty's tool to extract the nbh file to 7 files? and then repack them (include window, primary splash , secondary splash and ExtROM) ?
Do I also need to include the new "Radio" in the new repackage? (does it rewrite my current radio bootloader)?
Thanks so much!
You could keep the radio if you want to.
But it is still okay to flash back to previous as RADIO version for 1.47 is BL0108.

I have repackage the ENG ROM, no radio is abt 80M and with new radio 1.47 is abt 94M , are those file size a bit too large?
Did I do anything wrong?

you dont need to repackage it...ive already done it.
See the relevant thread.
Sorry for the questions, there so much to read on here I'm now going round in circles I think!
1) I've NEVER flashed my HTC TyTn before but I presume I still need to install HardSPL as you advise, this is to save bricking I believe.
2) My unlocked TyTn is on the O2 network, I've heard mention of o2.cab files - do I need to do something extra here, apart from HardSpl and flashing the WM6 rom?
Thanks again, just had this awful feeling that it will flash okay and then I'd find that I couldn't get on my O2 network no more....

Why did I just feel in my bones that when any "official" ROM was released there would be a plethora of "how do I" questions?
Just why did I feel that coming.
I guess though, I'm glad that I've spent months reading, and flashing is a 10 minute no sweat deal anymore, thanks to the efforts of mrvanx, pof, des, and many others.
Config after flashing is another deal altogether.
Disclaimer, use this at your own risk, if this voids your warranty I’m not being held responsible, blah blah all that junk.
Well, first, thanks go out for Microsoft for releasing a support tool for Windows Phone yesterday. Inside that tool, were unreal hidden gems.
Basically they’ve created a managed wrapper over the whole update process for us, rather nice of them.
So I flashed my HTC Mozart back to RTM (7004) via a ROM update HTC ship and whipped up a little application to flash pre-NoDo (7008), NoDo (7355), NoDo update 1 (7389) & NoDo update 2 (7390) all in a single process. No I don’t care which carrier you are on, which phone you have, it’ll just update your phone accordingly.
We really have to commend Microsoft here for being able to split up the OS updates into differential packs, which saves users downloading 200+ MB updates, unlike the IFruit updates.
All you need to do is run the ChevronWP7.Updater.exe console app and follow the prompts.
Make sure you select the RIGHT language for your device. To double check what your default language is, go to Settings > Keyboard and if your selected language is displayed in the Console app, you’re good to select it. If it isn’t in the list, DON’T flash it just yet.
Now, download the following files.
x86 Operating System (32 bit)
Windows Phone Support Tools
http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/5/4/15427EAF-AD42-4E4A-8179-9A3C5483E366/WPSupportTool-x86.msi
ChevronWP7.Updater

x64 Operating System (64 bit)
Windows Phone Support Tools
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...E4A-8179-9A3C5483E366/WPSupportTool-amd64.msi
ChevronWP7.Updater
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40MA6F02
Once you’ve installed the support tools and extracted the ChevronWP7.Updater.zip to the desktop, plug your phone in and wait 30 seconds.
Now start ChevronWP7.Updater.exe (this should kill Zune) and follow the prompts.
If you’re updating from Version 7004, you need to run the Updater TWICE, this needs the preUpdate before we can flash NoDo.
Again, if your language isn’t in the Chevron updater, DON’T attempt to update your phone. Some of the applications won’t work otherwise.
This “might” work for HD2 owners, haven’t tried it out just yet. If it does, report below and tell me .
There is NO revert process, again, flash at your own risk.
I flashed my Samsung Omnia 7 works fine
Big Tenks to walshie
If I do so like you suggest with my HD2 (WP 7.0.7004.0), he still asks to update the february update..
And I did it twice like suggested...
Thanks anyway!
It doesn't work for me but I still have to install the February update. Does anyone know if there is already a new rom with this update included?
Thx!
Works for me, Samsung Focus AT+T and had to run it twice to get both updates.
Source
Where does this method pull the updates from? Is it the same update being tested by AT&T for the Focus?
Didn't work for me...tried 4 times and kept getting some error, then got booted from the program...not sure what the deal is. Samsung Focus, AT&T
Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express
Also not working for me- Samsung Focus on AT&T. Program runs, reboots phone, seems to update, but on examination I'm still at 7004.
Sadly I should've resisted. I did this on my AT&T Samsung Focus, everything is great except I have no marketplace and no Zune functionality..

Ok, I installed the Debrander xap util and it debranded to 00-88. I then ran Zune and it showed update available. It upgrade phone to 7008 from 7004. But even after that running chevron update still fails.
Maybe it was pulled from the site due to unforeseen problems.
Btw, don't reinstall debrander over your original debrander as it loses the original carrier details no I cannot rebrand to at&t unless I do a reg hack *I think*
Hey Guys,
I have been a long time viewer of XDA and found it incredible useful for both Android and WP7 communities.
I have just updated my Samsung Omnia 7 to the 7720 (RTM) build of Mango after the official Zune 4.8 came out. This meant that it took lots of trial and error and basically mashing instructions from a few different tutorials to get the build running.
As I can't find much reference for people who are trying to do this post-4.8 i thought it would be helpful to post what worked for me. I will try my best to link to the original threads for the steps and downloads I used and I take zero credit for the hard work done by those who wrote these tools and scripts.
(MODS: As this is my first post I couldn't put this in the Dev/Hacking forum, if up to scratch and necessary could you move it there?)
So here we go:
You will need:
WP7 Handset running NoDo
MicroUSB Cable
Windows 7 or Vista PC
Patience
A couple of hours to spare
Please note that as per every other tutorial of this kind, you are doing this to your own phone... don't blame me if things go bad!
This method of updating will remove your Chevron Unlock - if your a homebrew fan then i would look for other tut's or wait for official update!
1: Download this "Mango for All 0.3" from here
2: Extract the folders in the zip file to C:/takeonetomango .
3: Download "7720.rar" from here (originally found in this thread)
4: Extract the contents of 7720.rar to C:/ (VERY IMPORTANT! - you should end up with C:/RCtoRTM, C:/Zune etc).
5: If you currently have Zune and the Windows Phone Support tool - UNINSTALL THEM.
6: Open C:/Zune and run "Startzunelocal.exe" to install the (now old) Zune 4.8 Beta.
7: Open C:/Zune/Update and install "UpdateWP.exe" from either the x86 or x64 folder depending on which windows you use. (This is something of an idiot test. If you don't know which you should choose - stop here. Put the down your phone, uninstall Zune and put the official zune back - you should wait for the official mango update as this can seriously damage your phone.)
Explanation: So far, all the tools used to provision the phone and force the updates rely on the version of Zune and the WP Support Tool to match. Since the Zune 4.8 was officially released, there isn't a matching Support tool, which will cause all these bat files to fail their checks. This is why we will be rolling back to the old 4.8 beta a couple of times, just to please those checks.
8: Now you should have Zune Beta and the supplied UpdateWP installed. Now navigate to C:/takesonetomango. Plug in your phone and quit zune (you may need to wait a few minutes for the windows device driver to install). DO NOT UPDATE ZUNE AT THIS POINT. QUIT ZUNE.
9: With your phone plugged in and zune no longer running, right click "Update.bat" and run as Administrator
10: Follow the steps that appear in the command prompt. This will now do a backup of your phone and move it to a safe place (this is because you will need to go back to NoDo to get the official Mango update).
11: Go and put the kettle on. This is now going to take a while depending on how much stuff you have on your phone.
12:When the backup is done, it will move this backup to a safe place. Press any key to start that and finish drinking your coffee.
13: Once the backup is moved the command prompt will now do the interesting stuff. Its going to "Provision your phone" to trick Zune into thinking your a developer. Follow the instructions and be VERY PATIENT.
14: Once its all done, it will launch Zune. Stop any Sync'ing and go straight to check the phone for updates.
15: It should now say an Update is available and welcome to the Mango ISV beta. Hit Update now. You must update to the latest Zune first - this is fine - go for it.
16: When zune has updated, plug the phone back in and check for updates again. Now it will install the Mango 7712 (beta 2) update. Your phone will restart a couple times, be patient and wait until it has done TWO updates to your phone. Another coffee would be good.
CONGRATULATIONS! You now have Mango on your phone. However its not the latest RTM that you have been hearing about. So lets go install that -
17: With your phone unplugged, uninstall Zune again. And make sure you uninstall the "Windows Phone Support Tool" if it shows up in the program removal list.
18: Now go back to C:/Zune and install that old version again.
19: Now install "UpdateWP.exe" from the correct folder in C:/Zune/Update
20: Plug in your phone. Wait for the device driver to install again.
21: If Zune launches, quit Zune.
22: Go to C:/RCtoRTM and run "ISVto7720.bat" as an Administrator
23: This will take quite a while. All those other files in there are actually the RTM update itself. This one doesn't come over Zune, we only went back to the old zune to satisfy the checks in ISVto7720.bat.
24: After you have drank a few more cups of coffee your phone will have rebooted and installed the RTM release.
At this point you will need to unplug your phone and start playing with it. My apps and files and all settings etc stayed in place so yours should too.
Whilst playing with the new features on there you will want to launch zune and get it to update itself to the official 4.8 again otherwise the phone won't sync with it.
It's important to keep the C:/takesonetomango folder as there is a handy file called "Restore.bat" which will use the backup created earlier to put NoDO back on your phone as Microsoft says you will not be able to get the official release unless NoDO is on your phone.
Hope you find this useful. If I have linked to something and not given credit to the original author please let me know and I will change the credit.
Enjoy
Tips:
1. If you have any problems with errors for "prov.cab" users have reported that sometimes rebooting can sort it, otherwise edit the update.bat file with the explicit path to prov.cab. Thanks to everyone in the thread who suggested this to help others!
Is Hidden WiFi feature enabled in this release?
The code is probably there but don't know how to enable it yet! There is a long discussion here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233612
There is plenty of other reasons worth updating though!
Help!
Hi.
Trying to follow these directions. At step 9, am getting this error:
"File prov.cab is not accessible. Please double check your file."
Any idea what I might have done wrong? Do I need to uninstall everything and start over again?

Im actually stuck at step 16
Zune wants to restart the phone but nothing happens and the phone screen shows a picture that i should plug in the cable, but it is already
zune also consumes 30% of the cpu and that since an hour...
any ideas how to continue ?
/edit
just abort and retry
now running 7720
Was doing that, but that was a good suggestion.

try running not as admin, worked for me...
Just uninstalled everything and am going to start over from step 1.
No disrespect to all of you Mango lovers, but really wish the Pre 3 had made it to market right now. ... I'm sure I'll be more forgiving of some of the Mango shortcomings once I have successfully completed this process.
For what it's worth, i followed the instructions and am now successfully running 7720 RTM Mango.
The only stumbling block i had was going from 7712 to 7720, "ISVto7720.bat" was closing seconds after opening, a quick PC restart later however it worked first time, plain sailing aside from that.
Really enjoying all the new features thus far and i'm sure there's more i've yet to encounter - thanks for the clear and easy to follow instructions to help me get there.
Great to hear at least some success with these instructions!
It is a bit hit and miss, to be honest and each machine seems to have its own little subtle differences in the order that it installs device drivers etc.
If you get the problem with Prov.cab double check you have extracted the folder to the right place, the bat files have explicit paths in them (it doesn't just look for prov.cab in the same folder, it looks specifically for C:/RCtoRTM/prov.cab for example).
Jay
I'm going to try this later on tonight.
I have de-branded my HD7 a few weeks back using the two roms.

I assume this still will work?

Same problem here with a few error messages, but finalli working on LG E900.
Thanks Jay
Just wanted to confirm that it has worked fine. Thanks Jay for putting the guide together.

Does anyone know if this procedure works for the Verizon Trophy (SparkW), and if not, is there any way to load Mango RTM without developer unlock?
General sanity check question: if one chose to update to Mango via this "unofficial" method, how can he be sure that his phone will be in a "supported" state afterwards? Or, to rephrase, what would be the purpose of updating now just to have to revert to the last backup in order to update officially once the update is released by the manufacturer?

As I know, the beta update in 7712 has all 22 Languages, while the RTM update posted here only has 6.
For those who just use one of those 5-6 default languages should have no problem, but the others who enabled other languages in 7661 or 7712 should have found the update is "unfinished" (I hope someone will notice), though the build is 7720.68 which is supposed to be real RTM.
If the update through Zune has all 22 languages available, it should be worth to update officially. As you know, there are always people who don't want to see the "Not for resale" logo in the boot screen while keeping the Mango features, me too.
When someone captures the RTM update files in all 22 languages before the update through Zune, then I will see no point to roll back the update and do once more officially.

Actually, my Trophy only has 5 languages available. I remember that the update will not show all 22 languages, but it will support all of them. Selected languages will only be available on your phone based on the phones firmware region.
Just updated my hd7 and my wife's focus 1.3v to mango. This walkthrough is definitely great. For the focus i used senboston "ISVto7720" instead of the one in rctortm package. It is in the other THREAD post #508 mentioned in the first post here. With your indulgence, could you please enlighten me on how to use the restore.bat. Maybe another walkthrough for this is needed. Thanks again!.

It does support multi-languages shown up since 7004 (cannot said to be support), just not be able to type.
What I mean is the interface languages, which suppose to be a full support, instead of partial support as you have mentioned.
In beta update 7712, language packs will be updated according to your registry settings in NoDo, instead of the ROMs we have. I am just curious if 7720.68 through Zune will update in the same way.
Instructions:
1. All contents must be extracted to a local disk, not a backup/external disk. I can recommend to put all contents of the extracted Mango folder directly to C:/ (If you got enough available space)
1a. C:/NoDoToRC
1b. C:/RCToRTM
1c. C:/Zune
2. Install the zune beta client version 4.8.2134.0 (comes with the downloaded file)
3. If necessary (usualy is), run the flashing tool "updatewp" from the folder "update tool" install right version for your system, 32 or 64-bit
4. Connect Device via USB to the PC
5. Close Zune software if it opens when connecting
So I have the current version of zune at the moment and I'm on step 2. DO I have to delete the latest version and install the older beta version to continue updating from NoDo to Mango 7720RTM?
Yes, I know the official update is available, but not for me and I read somewhere that if I go to the RTM version I will then get the notification to updae to official mango..
So please answer my question and this can be deleted
Yes, you need to uninstall zune and then install the beta zune as it contains the updatewp files that match accordingly. I saw somewhere on here someone who had an updated updatewp that matches zune 4.8.2345 but I cannot locate it right now.
Have you tried the click update over and over again in zune while disabling and enabling your internet?? I know of 2 HD7s and 3 Trophys that have gotten the official 7720 update doing that!!
Yes I have tried that disconnect trick so many times but no luck I'll delete zune and install the older beta Hopefully I can then continue without problems...
lol another question:
I have made it to the point that my phone is now on 7403. Then it said that there is another update available which I think is 7712? Now it says roughly translated "please wait. Searching for free diskspace required for the update."
It has been like that for 20 minutes now, what do I do now? Wait? Cancel it and start searching for updates again in the settings->phone->update in zune?
I've never seen that error... If you are on 7403, and your phone is accessible by touch, then I would disconnect your phone, reboot PC and phone, and try again.
Good luck!
