Hi everyone
This is my first post but been on here and flashing roms a while now on and off cause the other half hijacks my phone but....
Ive tried to flash pacman 19.3 all in one dhd rom which was flashed ok along with the ParanoidPreferences and gapps-jb-20121130-signed but when im in settings after reboot the wifi toggle is darker and wont turn on. Ive tried to re-flash many times diffrent ways ( just rom, rom and paranoidpref.. etc ) but all end up the same. Ive read about the kangbang 2.4 kernal but when flashed it gets stuck in bootloop. everything else seems to work as it should and the rom is very fast and i would like to use it . On flashing ive done propper full wipes in 4ext ive just ran out of ideas and it worries me when get stuck in boot loop
These are the files i have:
PACman-v19.3-BLINDNDUMB
ParanoidPreferences
gapps-jb-20121130-signed
KangBang-Kernel-v2.4
any help is much appreciated
Hey
Ive flashed pacman 19.1 and all seems ok wifi working. I download'd it from the blindndumb website and that version is only 19.1 no 19.3? as in the xda dhd dev forum which is 19.3? Is the 19.3 for the dhd or just the desire s?
Ive been using my phone for downloads as my pc has been out of action for a month but i got my pc working again so maybe might have downloaded wrong on phone so idk

Hello Every 1
I am not a noob but have to survive on this matter. I have HTC Desire with S-Off
I installed Aurora v04 Rom and I had asked this in the roms replying page but got no answer there. Now the problem is that when I start Video recording the camera stills for 2 seconds and my desire auto reboots. If any body can help me then It would be thank full. I love aurora v04 rom and its all features but just the camera issue is my damn target. I have used many HTCcamera.apk 's but had the same problem please bear with me if this question is already asked or answered.

I've used Aurora and honestly, this is way faster and more stable, and has all the same features/tweaks (maybe more!!)
It's my daily Rom now and the videocamera works fine
Make sure you have CM7r2 hboot.
Good luck man

Im currently using Rom Revolution HD 7.2 with no problems so far. When tryng to update to 8.1 some wifi problems started, so when 9.0 was released the problem persist.
The wifi connection resets it self and/or loose connection, so i loose all conectivity capacities when wifi is on.
I tried reinstalling several times, with de same results. So finally im back on 7.2 ... ( with the normal sense lag of this version...)
Any advise? Now has been released the 9.1v , but the changelod dosn´t say anything about wifi.
Hope you can help me.
Cheers

I know, the most of people do not have any problems too, but i saw a user posting the exact same problem than me. I can´t replied to him, because my account is too recently created
But for sure it was a rom problem, i never had before wifi problems. Using stock and HD 7.2 rom..
Did you follow all the instructions (i.e: run super wipe script , flash the correct boot.img etc..) ? I was on 8.1 and now on 9.0.0, didn’t have any WiFi issues on either of them.
I follow all the instructions when installing from stock to 7.2 .
From 7.2 to 8.1 and 9 i try wiping cache, data and delvik only.
Its necesary to flash again the boot.img?

Of course you have to !!!! the kernel is in the boot.img ! Next time follow all the install instructions when flashing a ROM. If some steps can be skipped then the dev will mention them in install instructions. Flashing the boot.img is a must for any new ROM.
Oh crap!
Il do it right now and post the results xD

Yeah, please post us the solution - hope the kernel update works for you
PS. I've also updated without any wipe (but boot.img 9.x.x of course ) and all seems to work fine.

Try flashing latest radio. Maybe it'll help.
EDIT: you already have latest radio. Does wifi works on GB and Froyo ?

If nothing helps then i'm afraid if it will be hardware problem. Probably ur wifi module is broken. Do u have problems with 3g and mobile data?
Sent from JokerDroid 4.3 (;
If it wont work only on ICS roms i dont know.
If it works on GB or ... than its not hardware
Just make sure you do correct wiping before flashing, maybe its that thing with that thing

Guys....I am not able to use HD option in my video camera in ARHD7.1...As soon as I start recording it shows "Video camera stops unexpectedly" ..All other option such as wide screen, mms everything is working fine..What should I do now????
Please help tomorrow I have to shoot one program in HD....:crying:
You need to flash RCTweaks or use 7.0.0 camera. Read the last 20 or so posts on the ARHD thread for the RCTweaks link. Camera apk is also on the thread but that was uploaded several months ago. Bottomline... This is a well known issue, discussed several times and documented extensively in the thread. Just some reading would've helped you!!

Or you could flash the latest ARHD 7.2, the HD works. Just tried. Hope it helped you somehow.

I would say , it will be good if u don't install 7.2 cos....it contains some bugs , u know
1. The search fc ,
2. Got a major problem with super user...binary won't install after update ....
Am not telling that mike is a bad developer or his roms are bad. , but comparing to the older versions , it contains many bugs....
Either wait for 7.3 or flash older versions...

Hi, I flashed unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies / Releases [SR1.1] (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2093845). Everything is great, but there is a GPS issue on my phone. There is totally no GPS signal. I tried many gps fix patches, such as inspiremod+gps fix, agps.patch.google.build.nossl.v3.1 and some gps fix apps, but none works.
My phone is S-ON, and HBOOT-2.00.0029. Radio-26-.14.04.28_M.
I tried to S-OFF it, but failed. And I looked ways to flash radio with S-ON, but it also didn't work.
Please give me some advice. Thank you.
I posted the question here because I, as a new member, was not permitted to reply to the thread I mentioned above.

Thank you, ammo12. Have you tried the ROM called ELLYTIME for DHD/Inspire4g - 4.2.2 R11? I tried, but still has no luck. I may turn to the Android Revolution HD 2.3.5 with Sense 3.5 later. Thank you for suggesting it.

And when you suffered no WiFi, probably you need to flash boot.img for the new ROM. It works on my phone.

Yes, on DHD you have allways to flash boot.img manually, it doesn't work with recovery install alone.
Finally, I fixed the GPS issue by updating the radio.
The first step is to S-OFF it. Here is what I used to do it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2367322
The second step is to update radio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...81&postcount=2
After that, I used TopNTP, which is available from Google Play, to configure the GPS.
Now the GPS can fix my location in 10 seconds.
